    @Ast and Sasha That makes a lot more sense.

    I see it more as R9 is Rank 9 gear, R9 recast is exactly as it is, R9 recast, and this new rumor is the 2nd recast.

    A second recast is technically a 3rd cast, but I find it easier to keep it within recast terms. I find it awkward to say that my current R9 gear is the first cast. But you can't please everyone XD.

    i for myself see it in that way also

    e.g. arcane nirvana armors:

    original: phoenix dance (in our case, r9)
    1st cast: dragon rise . nirvana (in our case r9 ascended)
    2nd cast: dragon rise (the new stuff)

    Well I guess that was my bad. I should have said we are talking about the 3rd version* not cast.

    I'm pretty sure it's not a chance but guaranteed stats.

    Words like "cast" and "forge", in this context, are leftovers from the time when MMOs were based on RPGs, and not just 3-d chat rooms with a casino feature. Imagine a Dwarf so old and bent that time itself has forgotten his age, standing in the glow of a blazing "forge", "casting" hot iron into weapons and armor to battle the wraith hordes.......

    the potential 2nd recast bow has the same interval add as standard mustache http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/28511

    you can assume the r9 2nd recast dagger would maintain the same interval as the standard r9 as well.

    yup, lost interest when the Nirvana pants lost the int.

    I have to agree with the person who mentioned that they need to add more content before adding this stuff. There really is no point for this stuff unless you're all about PK.

    It is kinda sad to see that end game has become nothing but who can buy the best gear fastest.

    If new sets of gear bridge that gap between r9 and other armor, i'd be quite happy with that. Even if i did lose -int on some stuff. Right now PWI has only made it to where you either you buy your way to the top, or suffer. Unless you're one of those people who merchant their entire lives away, while farming along side it. I just don't want to put that much time into the game. I already play enough.

    I would like to know what the set bonuses are, and what we get from 3rd cast on weapons.

    I'm still in shock that people were willing to pay that much for full r9 set, then paying for shards/refines. -_- SHOCKED

    yea it's pretty crazy..

    I couldn't bring myself to get R9 mainly because i don't want to drop that much money on a game that I can't trust to be around(Not saying PWI is dying, i just question the future of it) or provide a large enough player base to keep me busy or provided enough end game content to keep me entertained enough to enjoy the gears I just spent all that money on.

    The value for me personally is just not there. It's not so much the cost but what I get in return for spending that money that keeps me from buying it.

    mmm I have pretty much given up on r9...however this 3rd cast of nirv gear has me interested. If this comes to pass I may just stick around longer to get it.

    Makes no sense to me. I think something is missunderstood here. Why should Rank9 recasted into 1 * yellow gear? same for nirvana. they are both 2* orange gear

    I think here are different gears mentioned.

    I jsut want to see the actual stats of this ****. So much QQ. ive been waiting on way to upgrade my nirvy daggers and armor. I hate the R9. BUt I cant maintain my 5aps ill be really pissed. MY nirvy daggers have -.05 2x's and Sac strike. I was hoping for additional adds making it better or at least as strng as the R9 daggers. Maybe upgrade to GOF, or an HP return, maybe add distance to my attack, something.... Or give us the option to get attack bonuses for nirvy gear besides the 5attack lvls... make it equivalent to R9. Give us a chest with -.1 interval like R8. GIVE US GOOD GEAR.

    I hope Nirvana would be just as good as Rank 9 then. I rather have Nirvana over Rank 9, hopefully this info will be confirmed soon, like maybe a month or so.

    All MMOs will constantly upgrade whats considered "end game" gear. And in games that provide a cash shop where items that affect gameplay are sold, those who spend cash will have the upperhand.

    PWI's issue is they released gear that was too powerful for the content they currently have, and they made it TOO EASY to get. Any MMO company should know that to keep players interested, they have to be forced to work. You give the players the option of lvling to 100 in one week and buying their gear the next week and the game won't last. People get bored. It's common sense.

    At this point the only hope I see is

    1) They add new endgame content that's not a complete joke like that dumbed down 'exp instance" in Morai. The instance needs to match the lvl of gear available. And for those who claim this would alienate everybody who didn't have endgame gear...no, it wouldn't. There was a time when something as simple as a full GV was a serious challenge and couldn't be completed by most players. Yet, people still tried it.
    I don't count GBTsince it can only be done with guildmates and a r9 squad can complete most of it by themselves.

    2) Release farmable gear ( and yes, r9 is technically "farmable." I'm talking about gear that can attained by NOT using the cashop) that can hold it's own against cs gear. It doesn't need to be better or even on par with r9. It just needs to decrease the huge gap between cs'd and non cs'd gear.

    Well, thats my novel and opinion. Hopefully 3rd cast will complete one of the above.

    Well there are some advantages to nirvana and even recast rank 8 vs R9. Rank8 gear can create a 5 aps sage sin with insane amounts of luck. ( I do mean insane) and take for instance Nirvana weapons Have stats that R9 doesn't have. The G15 bow can have thunder shocker. All csed bows get are the debuff stats. While farmed Nirvana bows can have the chance to stun. But as far as damage, and adds. Nirvana should be brought on par with Rank 9. Let us keep our original stats and add to them new gear set bonuses and higher base stats.

    My daggers have -.05
    -.05
    Sac strike

    A reasonable upgrade from G15 nirvana would Keep those stats
    -.05
    -.05
    GOF
    + 30 attack lvl
    +2.00 distance attack
    + THe other R9 stats

    This is reasonable since R9 an be upgraded. Since the above has only been done a few times its not severly OP. maitains a sins ability to be 5aps. with different gear options then the standard cookie cutter.

    They have farmable gear that allows you to compete with rank 9 . If you made a full set of recast 8 +6 with all same gems as a set of rank9 +6 --you could expect to fight each other with only a tiny disadvantage, but a huge advantage in money left over to buy things inrl.

    Problem is they made the amount of drops in trials sorta sucky an also the conversion rate of warrior proofs for matts sucky an definitely made a bottle neck in the ore used to reroll the stats.

    Im not saying both sac strike and GOF, but an upgrade if you dont have the better of the two. For instance Sac strike becomes GOF.
    Attack lvls yes, dex yes, range yes. Like R9 R9 gets upgrade, give Nirvana similiar stats +what we already rolled.
