    I don't say cleric can't kill phisycal mob...I'm sayin that it's terribly boring do it, because it takes a lot of time, mana and gear's repairs.

    That's the matter a lot of ppl dont play clerics.

    In PWI there are a lot of clerics only because all ppl have a second toon cleric to ress themself.

    CLERIC CLASS IS BORING!!!!

    Playing other classes is MORE MORE funny.

    And that's i know because have also Archer, Psy, Veno, Barb and BM.

    THE MOST BORING CLASS is CLERIC
    TYPICAL SEQUENCE OF A SQUAD FAULT:
    1 - Sin doesnt control his aggro (90% of sins are noobs)
    2 - Sin dies
    3 - Sin asks insistently to be ress (80% of sins are noobs and uneducate)
    4 - Cleric try to ress him (exasperated by asking of the Sin)
    5 - While Cleric ress Tank dies
    6 - All squad die
    7 - LAST THE SIN SAYS: CLERIC IS AN ***!b:angry

    since i have a 5.0 squad, psy and veno Im going to tell you to please delete your cleric and play one of your others. I am ep main and i am never bored, there is always something to go wrong and me to shine inthe moment.

    I actually PLAYED my cleric to 100, not just buying FCs.
    Maybe if YOU did the same thing you MIGHT be able to not suck at playing and might be able to kill mobs without needing anyone else. IJS.

    My cleric could have soloed FC in her 90s, with less than average gear, would have taken forever, but clerics are BUILT for soloing normal quests late in the game, honestly my average gear cleric has as good survivability as my 5APS +11 sin, doesn't kill as fast, but survives just as good.

    This is proof that you don't know wtf you're talking about.
    90+ a sin that DOESN'T take aggro from a barb is considered a nab. Clerics have to know how to WATCH aggro, and WATCH more than just the tank. 90-100 barbs and sins bounce aggro.
    100+ a good sin will always have aggro, and tbh won't need heals for most instances.

    And wtf kind of barbs are you running with that die on bosses if the cleric doesn't heal them for the 12 seconds total it takes to rez and buff someone after they die? Ironheart stacks up to 15 seconds... -.-

    Uhm.. Clerics have a medium mana usage. A Mystic uses SOO much more, and when I played my mystic, she still could go through 15-20 mobs before having NO mp whatsoever.
    Also, OF COURSE a psy is gonna kill faster, they're a DD NOT a support class like a cleric. Our main focus is healing, and DDing on the side if we can.
    If it's unbalanced and boring, shut the **** up and stop playing your cleric.

    Feel free to retire your "boring" character and stash/sell your gear then. A lot of people who dont pick up clerics usually do so because they dont have the right mindset to be good healers or run into enough pin-heads to want to quit. b:laugh

    I think you seriously missed something in Morai. There are so many ranged/magic mobs its irritating. If you are having this much trouble please reroll another class; apparently you can't tell what is physical from what is magical. If the melee can fight all the magic mobs in there, there is no reason you can't fight the physical ones. Also, I'm pretty sure that nearly anyone would let a cleric in their squad just for the buffs alone while questing down there.

    It can be an alt as well, at the moment I am not sure if i can revive Hartland or not and wanted to make a class based faction, so kinda going to be running 2 for a while.

    Decided to bookmark this thread. It's too epically awful to forget it happened.
    I've quit excluding TW for my faction. But I still hang around to help out those who still enjoy the game under PWEs horrific handling and to have fun in the forums. b:cute
    #Shame about PWEs absolutely craptastic handling of the goons glitching. Remember kids, there's no punishment for breaking the rules here!#

    As the same a lot of ****** TROLLS came to say how they are fantastic in game and how I'm not able to play in their opinion.

    I try to open a discussion about clerics skills and how to make cleric class less boring....But nobody understand that....and everybody only speak about their fantastic performance.

    I hope only PWI staff will read what i mean...I try to comunicate only my opinion; only the little opinion of a player about how improve fun in game.

    I have played every single class there is in this game. Cleric is my favourite out of all of them, the most interesting to play because you can be a DD or a healer whenever you feel like it. You can go solo or you can go with a team, and pvp is really fun with them too. If you don't see that, cleric is NOT your class, or you just don't know how to play it. *shrug*

    Dude... Useless skills...? Plume Shell, WoP, Guardian Light, 2 OP Seals, cyclone has a slow effect, and heavy hitting metal damage attacks... The hell clerics have useless skills.

    Only "useless" skill is BotP... And hell. I'm sure there's a use for it... I just don't know what it is x.x

    BotP can be used to get chi without using mana

    Never had the problem of tank dying while rezzing some DD who couldn't control his agro...
    But then that might be because I stacked IH on tank, while then ressing the DD... hmmmmm.

    Hmmm.... shouldn't this be in the cleric thread.

    But mob quests on a cleric are easier than on a psy or a wiz.

    Sure we don't have as much power, but plume shot is handy for those mag resist ones.

    Mobs run at you and hit you? Silent Seal, freeze them in place 3-4 hits to kill them. If it takes you more than 3-4 (5-8 if it's increased life) to kill a mob of your lvl then I must say your build is either really screwed up (too much vit or str, or heaven forbid you added dex) If your build is right and you still can't 3-4 hit mobs then you must be using lower lvl gear.

    Honestly, as far as I'm concerned, the only boring part about cleric is sitting in BB. I would love if BB was just an aura that could be turned on/off (paladin, anyone?) and still cast spells in the meantime.

    Then again, I'm able to use that time to tell horrible jokes and idiotic stories, so maybe it's not so bad. b:chuckle

    Obviously you have a problem in your build.

    a 90 cleric in moria should have no problem killing a mob in 5 shot whit crappy gear.

    It takes me 2 or 3 shot on most of the mob in there unless they have 200k hp.

    I even 1 shot a 75k hp mob on a crit.

    Aside from morai, I can solo fb 69.... all u need is R8+5 like me and P def gear oO.

    Obviously something is wrong in your build.

    Has for violet dance, you may not find it useful vs mob, I have a total of 49 refining and it only give me 6.7 % base damage increase.

    The real good part about it is in pvp were damage is increase when both player soul force is compared. The damage I get on mob is from 600 to 1000 inc, a small bonus but better then none.

    Ok. I just wrote a ton of advice, and it just deleted, so I'll ask this...

    (I'm not trying to be rude in what I say, so excuse the irritation that I currently have since everything that I just typed vanished.)

    Shard your armor, and refine it. It doesn't even have to be high refines, or shards. Refines, try to go for +3. Shards, try to go for nothing lower than flawless. Mix in citrine and garnet to help boost both pdef and hp. Personally, I'd go for immaculats if you don't think that you'll get endgame gear for a while, but that's just me.

    Use your skills wisely. Plume shot, guardians light, wings of protection, buffs.

    Check the obvious: Is your gear equipped and intact. Does it need to be repaired?

    Switch your -chan gear out for pdef gear. I'm not saying discard it, but do switch it out to do battle here.

    Get a few different genies to help:

    Extreme poison = increased damage.
    Earthquake = The closest thing to a knockback that you're going to get.
    AD/Expel =Immunity
    Tree of Protection = A heal that may save you.
    Holy Path = Retreat

    Use your sage/demon skills to your advantage. They can easily turn a fight around. If you're sage, you've got more of a defensive edge. If demon, you have more of an offensive one.

    Use your seals, debuffs, and sleeps. Remember to purify yourself afterwards. This helps to keep the enemy at bay, and to weaken them.

    Kite with cyclone if you're having such a hard time taking their hits.

    I can't even log on to see the new expansion, and I'm telling you that all of this can be done with TT90 gear, decent refines, and a few good shards.

    I am full TT90, +3 armor, +3 weapon. My OHT map 4 belt is +4, and one of my rings is +2. I have just over 4k hp unbuffed, and I know that it can be done. If I can complete map 4 of OHT in that gear, then you can do this. Str. Nibustian captians hit me for nearly 2k, and I got past them on my own. You can get past these.

    I can solo Jewelscalem, Nightspike bloodguard, Emperean Slither, General Feng, Yan the Traitor, several other bosses and take dragonroar head on and in TT90 gear still, then you can get past this. Its not really all of that difficult. Wait until you see map 4 of OHT. Then you'll see real damage being done to you.

    Regarding your mp, I don't see why its costing you so much. You shouldn't have to spam through your herb yuanxiax like that.

    Use apoth to help you if its really a problem. Also, use crab meat too. It does help.

    Clerics may not be able to kill as quickly as a sin or a psy, but those are some of the top DD'ers in the game. I kill quickly enough, and live to tell about it too. Psys and sins have their own problems. Clerics have theirs too, but they aren't so squishy that they can't survive.

    Keep playing, and have fun. Also, I highly recommend that you not be in metal mage mode while you do this.

    Just saw a few of the other pages.

    Cleric is a fun class when you know how to play it properly. Its a different class too, and is honestly my favorite. Its fairly versatile, and a different feel. Unlike any other class, we focus on heals to stay alive. (Mystics can use pets to help them, so I'm not counting that.)

    Our heals are a major part of out defense, and its fun incorporating ways and strategies to take things down. I'm not op, nor do I have op gear, but I'll take most anything on that presents itself to me.

    Most boring part is BB in rebirth. (Fell asleep there before during a full run. Woke up in time to see that BB had just dropped from a mob that knocked me out of it, and used AD + spark pot, and BB again to save my squad. Looked real pro while doing it too. Too bad someone dc'ed and we failed anyways. b:laughb:laughb:laugh Had a string of bad luck there with people dc'ing. T__T
