Depends on the rule lady... If breaking rules makes victem or it's a case of extreme harrasment afcourse I'd tell... I only had to do once though...

I was only about 9 years old and my 7-year old neightbour girl and friend was smoking in the bushes with a bunch of 16+ not-so-trustworthy guys... Since I would risk getting into danger if I tried to help her myself I went to my mom (her own parrents where always stoned annyway) and she got her out of there... And no the girl wasn't punished badly... Rater then that my mom had a talk with her about she was doing something dangoures with those guys... I had to tell my mom about it because I cared for her safety and not because I enjoy seeing others get punished...

So that's what I mean about the diffirence you should or shouldn't betray others on... Rules will always be broken by ppl sometimes even in real life... I check out too soon when on public transportation with my pass sometimes and yet I have never seen someone running to an officer just because I did... It's a minor rule breaking that isn't hurting annyone... Get it now? b:cute

I understand.

It technically is not hurting anyone in the game, at least physically. This is an emotional thing. MMOs have always been about getting to that "next level" the "proper way" at what ever cost(and in some cases...at the cost of one's humanity..). To get to 105 without spamming goons, would feel huge. A good majority of players do not like seeing others get over aka having it easy, especially if they themselves "worked hard" for something.

Indeed... Meh I just think reverting them back and maybe even take away a few more lvles is a good enough punishment (I never said they shouldn't be punished at all afte all just don't do a perma-ban or something)... And the ones who work hard will at least have a good feeling of being satisfied when they reach their goals... So realy just ignore the glitchers and don't feel too upset... They'll never have that feeling of satisfaction when reaching their goal by cheating... b:pleased

This is what I totally expected PW to issue once the goon show got going:

"We have always taken cheating seriously. Starting today, we will further intensify our efforts to hunt down and rid this game of cheaters. Stats wiping and banning this disruptive minority is the only way they will understand that they are ruining the game for others. We do this for the millions of dedicated players out there who deserve a fair game, every game.

If you believe you have been the victim of outright cheating, the best way to report your concerns is send us the player name of the person you suspect.

Describe to us what happened. Please enter as much detail as possible, describing what specifically makes you believe this player has used unfair methods.

These reports are then received by our analysts who will do a deeper analysis of the situation and take appropriate action, including stats wiping and/or banning players who are confirmed as cheating.

Reducing the number of cheaters is an ongoing endeavor, and one that we will never stop. Thanks for your co-operation, and see you in game."

It's a bit sad that you feel a need to justify yourself to others.

It's kinda weird.

Honestly, if people want to believe you were one of the first to discover and use the dragoons glitch, then why should that bother you? After all, you were the first level 105. Even if the value of level 105 was taken away by the glitch, it doesn't make it go away. It happened. How it happened doesn't really matter for jack****. If people want to believe you used the glitch, then so be it.

Also, I really don't see the point of having to justify your own prowess at PvP. Because really, that's just silly. People who're good at PvP are known for being good at it.

And really, the PvP rankings don't mean jack**** exactly because they can easily be manipulated. But you would know who did that.

ummm, glitch was there from when they changed Frost from farming to exp. Just not too many people knew about it. (and before anyone jumps up and says "but no one had gear good enough to do goonz"... there were ways to goon it without calling 500 mobs at once and squad wipes)

Almost all the glitches were there from the beginning (or near it). Azn wall glitch, 2nd boss, GV and a couple others that have not been mentioned as of yet. (don't worry GMs, not a game breaker and nothing coming out of those 2 I know of).

Was there a legit 105 without glitches (goonz or otherwise)? I don't know. I do know there was a 105 barb on LC who oracled to 105... b:chuckle

You fool, you missed the point. Can you even find 10 level 30s in an area grinding or doing quests? Last time I went checking "grinding places" which was over a year ago, there was no players to be found, now Imagine how that must be now...

There was no magical patch that made goonz uber spawn, unless you are talking they were 105 back before fc was changed i think 2 years ago. You cant say "before blah blah". They were just the first to do it before it became the goonz glitch craze.
