Really, on these forums, if you aren't doing exactly what the majority of the posters here think is right, you get loled at, even if you never have problems in game ever, which makes me wonder, if most of these people in the class forums... Actually play the game anymore?

I actually usually find quite the opposite. Since GD attracts more trolls, by virtue of being more popular, GD is often more nonsensical than other sections of the forums.

The last time I went into the Cleric Subforum was around 6 months ago, and my head almost exploded from the idiocy in there, so really... I don't feel like going back in there. And seriously, what's so important about 105's? Why can't all goon glitchers get banned? Even if you just glitched from 90-100, that's still glitching and abusing the ToS. Or does PWE not consider that to be a valid reason to ban?

I've already admitted to gooning a few times to see what it was like.
I don't know the answer to the proper punishment. Should it be that those of us who did it a few times (non-lvling) get the same punishment as those who created the stabby fishy population explosion? (You know, the 1 to 100 in a couple days...)

If they perma ban all who glitched, how will that reflect in server population? Do you think that any of the banned will reroll and put the money back into this game?

On the other hand, if they do nothing... will the non-glitchers quit?

I would love to have an anonymous poll for those who glitched to see how many were f2p and how many were cs'ers.

Sin population is high cz every1 of the core population has an alt sin to farm mats. This has nothing to do with 3rd boss glitch.

And to make clear e.g. Kitamura and Elayne r liars too. No1 who ever played pwi became 105 without cheating. Kitamura made a thread to show that its ridiculous/impossible to lvl up to 105 with oracles. Has any1 already made the math to show how many 1000s of hours u need to lvl up ur toon by doing frost (including original 2nd part of frost)? When it would be possible to do then MANY others would have done this too. Cz frost is and was no big deal. At lvl 103+ the exp u get by frosting is lame, im sure lower than 2m per run (with original frost and 12/13x exp).

Im sure some1 on an asian server figured out glitch and some of essence heard about it and abused it. Admins just didnt recognize it cz they didnt track activities.

My sin gets 25m a day @ 103 doing about 4 frost runs. If I went super efficient ~32m a day 6 runs (1 run is about 40 minutes). From 103 it's 3 billion experience to hit 105. That's roughly 100 days if we say 30m a day. So roughly 3 months... is not..... a big deal.

I, for one, couldn't care less about how others cheated their way through the game. I'm playing my game and not theirs if you know what I mean. QQ'ing about how others cheat their way through whatever isn't going to do anything for you but create unnecessary emotional stress. At least I know I didn't cheat my way through the game. It took me almost 4 years to get my toon where it's at and really that's all I care about. I'm playing my own game.

If others want to cheat their way through that's their business, not mine. What goes around may come around and they have to worry about the consequences of their own actions sooner or later. Not my business and I don't care and I'm really perplexed as to why so many others do too. Play your own game and have fun. If you think someone is cheating report them and let it go.

Exactly, I 'followed' the rules, and did not get 105 doing frostcovered glitch, while I warned others that they would run the risk of being banned.

So now i'm left out of that 102+ experience (using Detection potions for those pesky 101 lvl 11 stealth) because i followed the rules and was a goodie two shoes, and people come out on the forums and proudly show their 103+ avatar when we all know they gooned it.


What many learned is, if you see you can take advantage of the games mechanics and forge it into your own benifits, DO IT!!! but you can't tell Anyone of the 'thing' you found, because then it would get patched...

Isn't that right guys?

Just to kind of add to your regrets, having a lvl 105 genie also lets you get more affinity points than anyone else (every lvl over 100 gives 1 affinity point) so the glitchers can get a mega-genie with Expel, AD, cloud eruption, fortify, holy path, ToP, Frenzy, and belief/faith (the uber auto-purify skill), and just about any other skill they want.

To be fair though it's possible to have AD, expel, and cloud eruption @ lvl 103. The kicker is faith/belief (which isn't used mainly because it prevented being able to get AD/expel), which just puts the utility of a genie over the top.

Also, in addition to having more stat points, hp, mp, and soulforce (once the new skills expansion comes out, everyone gets soulforce) every level also gives a slight, but significant bonus to damage as well as being undetectable in stealth/see all in stealth.

I'd say those advantages are definitely worth glitching and never getting banned for it.

I got about 30% of the way to 103 on my main then decided I just had tons of better ways to spend my time. Sin has been 103 for 5-6 months. Still at 14%. Could have been 105 by now, I need to stop being lazy.
