    Poor frankie gettin centered out again :( catch that some on here dont understand is, most of the mods are "volunteers" and lurk the boards on their free time.. and frankie, well, hes been busy makin all those cool PWI promotional videos with panda, not to mention playin on the test servers makin cross-dressing arcane barbs and such ;)

    Meh, I like frankie, lol. All the messages I've ever sent him have been responded to in a fairly timely manner, he gives good answers to things I ask, etc. I've got no problems with him. b:thanks

    We know that you can't fix a lot of the problems we have...but you could at least try talking to us...and maybe pass on a word or two
    Maybe you could try giving an real explanation as to why some things can't be done

    This has to be the single most dumbest thing on this entire thread and the most idiotic, moronic "I clearly don't know what's happening in the PWI world" post I have seen all week. No, seriously.

    I doubt Frankie even logs in game to check on the player-driven economy so he can then go tell his dev friends what sales would be good, bad and what prices they should place things at. I'm willing to bet Frankie doesn't log in game to see how foul-mouthed world chat gets and that it would probably be best if a GM could actually keep an eye idly on WC so it was free of the spam and vulgarity it seems to be.

    Hell I think if Frankie knew what was best for the game and didn't care to lose his job, he'd turn around and actually tell the devs what we call them, word-for-word, and why we call them it. As it stands, he knows nothing about what's best for the game because he seems to show little knowledge of actually playing it in it's current state. He's just a monkey for the devs and PWE staff team who toddles around and tries to keep the community in order after delivering to them bad news after bad news.

    Balance the damn classes. Fix the damn bugs. I could go on. But, these things never happen... Since, you know, if you are building a skyscraper, if the ground level was good, that means you can slap a half finished second floor on, call it good, work on the third floor, get it pretty close to done, but some things were broken and not done right, who cares, and start working on the fourth floor. That's how PW is being made. Original content was solid. Fish expansion... Was not. Nor was Earthguard. And now they're working on more content that 1) will benefit a small number of people and 2) almost nobody cares about anyway.

    If history repeats itself, this failure of the staff of PWI to communicate w/ it's players will result in what we've seen before. It's a fire waiting to be unleashed. If people don't know what I'm refering too, I'm speaking of the Medals taken as well as Rank becoming cheap, and massive threads/spamming on the forums resulting in Frankie telling us more communication on his part will be dealt with.

    I'm starting to begin to think Frankie and all of the staff of PWE are morons. I know they are greedy, but I wonder if they want their games to die like many other MMO's w/ no support and/or no communication.

    Ah I figured this would happen it was only a matter of time before the complaints would land on the GMs. I mean if I have said it once I have said it a billion times this community likes to complain about everything. You know spoons really didn't post all that often he posted every week for updates but then kantorak used to duel in arch after a update but that stopped. Why should everything stay the same forever? Think for a moment when the server was down frankie would talk to everyone in the update thread maybe something is up just because hes not answering every single one of your complaints gives you no reason to bash him. You people realize how much you complain? Most of you don't know how to use the search function or even read the first page of the forum section your posting in. So every SINGLE time someone says this or that they expect the ONE and only community manager to answer every single thread they make. You people need to get off your rut of complaining about the game and just go do something else.

    Look I know I haven't even been in the game really since just before the latest two classes were put in but I know from history on this forum your complaining about a tiny annoyance that is almost easily ignored by everyone else. As a point frankie probably doesn't know whats going on in the game but you know that ain't his job. You know frankie did play I doubt he has played recently but he does know some of the game. I don't think he is a PWI junkie like some people but its not his job to be he is meant to report what the devs and the company say they need told in a nice way to make it sound interesting. Its his job to manage the mods and make sure people don't blow the lid off things too soon or not spamming the forums with **** remember that little fiasco people?



    Basically HES NOT YOUR DAMN BABYSITTER hes a manager he doesn't have to answer if he doesn't ****ing want to. But all you people want to do is ***** because your posting over a snail mail forums and expect an instant answer you realize frankie does have to manage ALL THE FORUMS not just general discussion and not only that all those nice words you heard coming from PWI thats his job for sure or he oversees someone who does that. So just chill.......................

When all those hacking 13 year olds are playing call of duty you don't see everyone and their brother calling out to the community manager to give them a reason to continue playing. Seriously I see constant please fix my boo boo from people here. Obviously this is a mmo and its based more on community then CoD however the devs really shouldn't be treated any differently forums are primarily used by players and players answer questions and solve problems this is the community the community managers job is not to solve your problems nor report to the devs the status of the game. The community manager is just what it sounds like is the person who manages the community aka the guy who give you the information in PWI's case and not just random information about random things in random times of the week and day obviously thats a position thats best filled by devs or another type of person that I have yet to see cause thats not a mod's job and its not any of the gm's jobs I have seen.

    Technically if you have a random question that a player can't answer you the gms have suggested you send a ticket and despite what people say about the ticket system it does work. In that regard sending a ticket may take awhile as there can be quite a bit of back log and sending the same ticket or another ticket knocks your ticket back to the bottom of the list. There is no preferential treatment of cash shop vs non cash shop there are several reports of instant answer from both denominations. If you wanna know whats going on with the world or whats wrong look at it yourself find out ask players someone is bound to know. But for petes sake don't get caught up in the hype these people are feeding you seriously. You have to understand these people get their jollies off seeing people bashing the company and will tell you any number of things is wrong and blow things out of proportion just to get you riled up.

    Next to that bugs that are complained about are not game crippling usually in fact usually play a very small role in the grand scheme of the game but everything has to be perfect not a single thing can be wrong......... You know I know some are annoying like the magic shell or hills but like your complaining about class balancing what if just because you think something isn't balanced they think it is or maybe thousands of other people think it is what then? What if they nerf something and get a bigger outlash which is usually what happens when something gets nerfed.( Believe me I know I'm a veno we got nerfed a few times over the course of this) I'm just saying don't blow your bugs out of proportion just because they don't want to hear about them anymore because ya'll be like parrots "polly fix the bugs" "polly fix the bugs" "polly fix the bugs" Rarely is there someone on the side of the company its like going into a lynching fest when posting as a mod or a GM "they" are all over them like white on rice balls.

    So generally chill you might be being ignored start talking about suein me see how fast you get ignored.

    That being said a bit more transparency wouldn't hurt it would really go a long way. Like for instance just saying your doing this your not sure how long it will take totally would ease a "mature" arguement like this.

    First of all thanks Water for the great idea of creating this thread.
    @Eyeofthtiger You are being ridiculus. Changes in a game are obvious. But the latest changes and the constant "We won't fix ****"-Attitude of PWE has driven PWI deeper into **** then ever. And it is getting worse every patch. Of course frankie only has limited powers, but still, he should help us get a good game back.

    @Elendirah Actually only partially true. They are kind of liars, but the worst thing is, they actually BELIEVE that the patches are positive for the game, and not negative. At least the devs in China are, about frankie, we have no idea as he hides somewhere and acts like it is not his business.

    What part of COMMUNITY MANAGER did you not catch? You asking him to fix things is like asking a member of the senate to fix a nuclear reactor problem. You ever think he was all excited to be the community manager when he started and offered to pass along stuff to the people who do the whole talking to the big bad dev boss.

    Beside what ever told you he was the one to fix things? why would someone who MANAGES the COMMUNITY fix things other then forum issues and such and things. I dunno but try not to read the short version only and actually read the argument before you say anything.

    Oke, to everybody who is talking about fixing stuff/frankie having to fix stuff... that's not what this thread is about.
    It's about the community manager hardly showing up on the forums. I'm not blaming frankie, nor trying to blame him for fixes that should be done in the game. He's the community manager, not a dev.

    I'm not gonna point fingers, but please, try not to flame and stick to the topic. Which is the topic of the community manager hardly showing up on the forums.
    All opinions are welcome, and are welcome to be discussed, but please people, try to keep it mature, I would really appreciate that. b:surrender

    He indeed responds to pm's fairly quickly, and I have no problems with him. However, I think that for a community manager he doesn't show up enough on the forums...

    Frankie has a LOT of stuff he does...and it takes a lot of his time. He gets on the forums as much as he possibly can, but with all that he has to do, it isn't much.

    And Myra, whaddya mean the only community-active Mod was Grim...?b:surrender

    Also, to the person who said we don't have personalities as Mods...who are you watching? o.O
    Each Mod has a distinctive way they moderate, and you just have to see a few of their posts to really catch onto it...but I digress.

    Give frankie a break guys, because his job is not as easy as you might think.
