HL shouldn't use the PvP server viagra. There are more idiots on HL server than RT and Archosaur combined. Just because Lost City sometimes uses that argument and gets away with it doesn't mean you guys can too. Some people on LC can actually back up that ridiculous ego of theirs. However, any PvE server > Harshlands.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

ILubby - Raging Tide wrote: »Idk about wizard vs psy, but wizard vs cleric is tricky, cleric has the advantage of the fast physical spell comparing to the wizard's, but I can't seem to anticipate which technique the wizard would use. However, If wizard uses sutra --> chances of surviving is low, but holy pathing fixes it if you're quick to run. If wizard uses seal - which has no channeling so he will seal you before you sleep him - purify pots fixes it too. By that time a cleric can sleep the wizard, spark and plume shot. A wizard can survive a cleric with certain genie skills. But in the end, gear is important, plume shot will tickle a wizard with 7k phys res -.-
The main danger of a wizzy is the sleep.
It's instand and lasts long enough to channel an Ulti that can bypass your charm9 out of 10 voices in my head say I'm not crazy... the 10th is singing the music of tetris0 -

Wiz vs Cleric the cleric has the advantage because of plume shot.0 -
Cadeal - Dreamweaver wrote: »Wiz vs Cleric the cleric has the advantage because of plume shot.
Did you read what the friendly lady cleric said?
Plume shot tickles an end game wizzy, while that end game wizzy can 1shot or bypass the charm of the cleric with an ulti9 out of 10 voices in my head say I'm not crazy... the 10th is singing the music of tetris0 -
Cadeal - Dreamweaver wrote: »Wiz vs Cleric the cleric has the advantage because of plume shot.
Lol Plume Shot.
Endgame Wizards have way more phy def than mag def, specially when fully buffed and Clerics cant purge.
Plume shot is joke damage on someone with around 20k phy def. Thunder wield is pretty much the only powerful attack skill a cleric has against endgame Wizards. Tempest hits hard to of course but like all ultis it takes 2 sparks and cant be used that frequent.0 -
Also Plume Shot has no mastery, that lowers the damage as well when compared with the metal skills. Plume Shot is really only good against wizards below 90..."Of course you should fight fire with fire. You should fight everything with fire."
"Some have said there is no subtlety to destruction. You know what? They're dead."

I remember on my wiz, plume shotting hitting for less than cyclone. I laughed when clerics used it on me.0 -

Razor feathers was where it's at.
Plume shot was good for spamming if you were demon.0 -
If you want the overly-simplified rock-paper-scissors of classes it would be this:
Evasion classes: Archer and Assassin
Melee classes: Barbarian, Blademaster, Seeker, and HA Venomancer
Magic classes: Cleric, Wizard, AA Venomancer, Psychic, and Mystic
Evasion classes beat Melee classes because they evades the Melee classes' blows while rarely missing with their own attacks.
Melee classes beat Magic classes due to the normally low HP and PDef of Magic classes.
Magic classes beat Evasion classes because magic attacks are ranged and never miss and Evasion classes usually have lower HP than Melee classes.
Obviously it's far more complicated than that, especially since you can make various builds (like LA clerics and such) and some buffs and skills help counter some of that, but it is a kind of rock-paper-scissors that's built into the game mechanics.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

that is so overly simplified that it is misleading. All they need to know is tideborn rule pvp.. and the 6 original classes are pretty well balanced with each other (dunno about earthguard yet)Youtube Channel: youtube.com/user/D2VeT/videos?flow=grid&view=0
