Sounds to me that Mystics are nothing but Cash Shop bait for magic types. The only class I've really stuck to was my Cleric and as far as I can tell Mystics don't have anything that'll change that.InStyle is the greatest faction on Dreamweaver! b:victory

Pssh, Mystics just seem like venos with free rez scrolls for everyone. The cleric will still have vastly superior buffs, heals, and rez from what i've seen. Looks like they'll definitely out damage us though. Then again, most squads aren't taking us for the DD anyway. IJS[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Honestly why are people complaining? A healer is a healer and that is that. Healers are always needed no matter if its a Mystic or a Cleric. I dont understand why you have to get so upset. Personally clerics have had the spotlight on healing since the game came out in china god knows when, its about time they allowed another class to take up a role as a healer. Not to mention not everyone wants to be a winged elf, its about time the game had some more diversity in the types of classes / races you can be.
So move over clerics and share the spotlight with mystics and stop getting so jealous. If you really hate the change then go play a mystic problem solved.
As we all have learned QQ'ing and crying your eyes out on the forums is not going to change anything. Neither is getting all huffy and start flaming another class out of pure jealousy. Tried out the Mystic on the CN server a while back. Here's the heal stats
Mystic's Lv1 heal
0.5 Channel, 0.5 Cast, 1.0 Cooldown
level 4 costs 95 MP, has range of 21.1 meters and heals target for 150 + 12% of base magic attack.
Wellspring Surge
1.5 Channel, 1.0 Cast, 1.0 Cooldown
level 4 costs 72 MP, has range of 21.1 meters and heals target for 170 + 8% of base magic attack
Fallen Flowers, the 'IH Buff'. Learned at Lv9.
0.5 Channel, 1.0 Cast, 2.0 Cooldown

Why pay twice as much to heal in terms of mana cost ?
Most likely the mystics dps will be okay but nothing to write home about which means they are gonna be forced to heal if in a group but then your literally throwing money out the window. I hear they get +30 def lvl skill which will be great in TW.
With rank 8/9 out there the defense level buff will help to make them less one shottable than your avg cleric.
Do they have a purge? if not then they will be at a disadvantage for groups.
As a cleric I can see leveling one up for TW and maybe pvp purposes .0 -
All these "What ifs" and no one is posting actual facts (other than the person 2 posts above me). Come on now people stop complaining about something that obviously has not happened yet. Furthermore quit counting your eggs before they hatched. No one knows what the mystic class is going to be like (other than those who have access to CN).

And I thought this game can't loose skill anymore. This heal is just so well thought out.

You are obviously either a low level, or an idiot.
Mystic will not have BB. So, when you are fighting Lord of Percussion in TT, you will get your *** kicked without a Cleric.
Mystic will not be able to use it's heal skills to stack like IH can. So, when you are facing Percussion with an on level squad, you will die.
Really, all Mystic will do is make things a bit easier on the Cleric. It will be another support class, but it will still lack the ability to heal as well as a Cleric. If you seriously think it is even remotely possible the Cleric will be replaced, you are sadly mistaken. Mystic will be a compliment to the Cleric, not a substitute. Obviously, sometimes it may be able to, such as for some BH's I imagine and bosses, but otherwise, it won't be.
However, I will always want a Mystic when I am on my Cleric, just so that I have the res buff and if I die, it doesn't mean I have to waste a scroll or release.0 -

All this speculating (except the few posts from people who have actually played the class). It's amusing.
My main is a veno, my main alt is a cleric. (Main alt means it takes precedence over my other alts, fyi). When discussing the new classes with friends, one person has made me feel better by making mention of one thing:
As much as people blow up the mystic's healing abilities, there is one thing to consider. A cleric is a specialist at healing. Their healing skills are specifically geared toward situations where life and death is seconds away and yet the squad can still be saved by a single act, whether Purify, Stream of Rejuvenation, Ironheart Blessing, or even the ever-popular Rejuvenation Bubble (BB). The mystic, on the other hand, is looking out to be more along the lines of a jack-of-all-trades. They dabble in healing arts, but they are in no way specialists. It is for this that they cannot replace the cleric.
As far as the fear of replacing a venomancer, I don't think it's possible. When assassins and psychics came out, I was told that my class (veno) was in danger. I was going to be useless. Yet, even still, I'm being asked into squads. Usually with a sin and or psychic in squad. The only instance I will never be squaded with a sin is in Rebirth (Gamma, Delta), but that is because the sin takes the veno's job. A fact I am exceptionally comfortable with given my sin will eventually do a job I already know how to do.
Also, taking another look at the mystic's potential, there is something else I've noticed that others have overlooked apparently. The venomancer can go around the map and tame different monsters. It is specifically stated in the preview on the mystic's skills that they LEARN their "combat pets". Meaning, like a skill, they pay coin and spirit to LEARN a new summon. They cannot go to this one place, to tame this one neat-looking pet just for the heck of it. So for those afraid that the pet market may die for the venomancers, don't fret.
As much as everyone's thinking it, my last bit of advice is: WAIT UNTIL THE EXPANSION BEFORE DECIDING IT'S THE END! Nothing is certain beyond any reasonable doubt unless someone who has played the classes shares their knowledge. Continuing to speculate will only cause more chaos and havoc, when these new classes will likely not be anything to worry ourselves over.

I tested the heals as well. On PW-CN the mystic heals are almost instant cast (maybe 1-2 seconds cast time) and then I tested out my clerics heals, it seems not only is mystic heals more mp but they are significantly faster too. It all depends on what you want for a trade off.
Also yes mystic may be able to have pets and heal as well. I still think Mystics will be considered healers when it comes down to it. If you can heal you will be pulled into doing that.

clerics cant die out. they are made to heal/support. enough said. nothing can replace that fact. plus, they cant even give sparks.. no, venos and clerics will NOT die.0

The MP usage the skills have
The cooldowns (Long cooldowns like Psy Bubble of Life)(Sure, it isn't all that long, but it's not fast enough to keep squads alive)
The extent of which it heals.
And the MP usage of other vital skills for said class.
If the new class is burning through MP to use it's own better, custom, and more vital skills, healing may not be top priority. Maybe the heals have ridiculously long cooldowns, making them back-ups. Besides, what about buffs? We still have our buffs (I have a cleric, so we, but he's still rather small.) And our cooldowns for healing are fast.
The new class might be a "Oh ****, clerics outta mana/pots mid boss!" Mystic steps up "Meditate, I have a few skills I can use" Cleric meditates, gains MP, and comes back in the nick of time to save whoever is tanking, or possibly the squad.
Besides, squad with two clerics usually never fail unless both clerics are failures as healers, so if we take out the second cleric, as it is hard to find a second, and replace it with a mystic, then I see something amazing happening. Several times in an instance I have seen the squad die as the cleric had to run for his or her life, waiting for the boss to reset so he or she could res the squad. However, now if the cleric gets chased down, the Mystic will be able to bring the squad back as the cleric runs, heal everyone back up, and they can take the boss back, the cleric can continue healing.
I se this new class as a great aid to the cleric.I am a proud member of the glorious tideborn master race.

To start with... NO, clerics wont be replaced. I will try to explain why, since no one actually thought about how it would work during gameplay experience in straight lines.
So lets think about in-game situations, when you are killing a simply mob and when you killing a boss:
~> Killing mobs: Even wizzies' heal, Blood Paint from sins and Bubble of Life from psys can help you, and thats because you kill it fast, you don't take much damage from then. And I believe thats can be applied for some elite mobs as well.
Also, for those who made a cleric to help out on quests, now can have a mystic instead... It can heal and DD.
~> Killing bosses: With an exception of the really low lvl FBs/BHs like 19, 29, 39 and later on at 79 (really easy bosses there) the squad will need BB or purify, or even both. Besides that, bosses usually takes some minutes to be killed and I don't really believe that any kinda of new heal skill will replace IH, which is an amazing heal skill.
So... Every squad will need a cleric to accomplish almost everything on PW.
About the Mystic' revive skill... As I heard from people who actually played on the Chinese serve, the Revive buff cost a considering amount of mp, has a really long cooldown and last for 30min only after upgraded (it starts at 15min), so is not gonna be like the Mystic will buff the whole squad, and the question about if this buff can be taken off by other skills, were not answered yet.
Another thing is... You know those TTs when we take 2 Clerics?! Well, now you can take just one and let Mystics as support healers and also do some good damage (btw... Since Mystic' pets actually work as summon skills will them get nerfed stats on instances?! We don't know that too).
My final thoughts...
As Cleric and future Mystic' player I'm REALLY excited about it, because one thing, and one thing only... Now we will have someone to take care of us, unprotected clerics, always taking care of ourselves and more 5. So C'MON!!! Why is even people complaining?! Mystic are coming to full fill a niche on the game, they are gonna be the first FULL support class, supporting not only on healing but doing damage as well. However not a full healer not even a high aps DD.
Instead of talking about replacement we should be asking for a larger squad. Seriously, in a few days we are gonna have 10 classes and a maximum of 6 person in squad. So why not increase squad members and make instances a bit more hard, forcing these new classes to work along with the already existents ones (and giving back to barbs what the were born to do, tank). A squad of 7 or 8... Just think about it!![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Think of it this way. In the same instance where a cleric would be replaceable with a mystic, or a psychic, or a wizard..
Might as well just go with a 4/5 APS sin with bloodpaint, because heals, purifying, and whatnot, are obviously not all that necessary.0 -
^ It actually makes me feel like a noob (to have a Mystic who heals ME). I don't need assistance and I can keep myself and my squad alive easily with my Demon healing skills (got all).
Also, I am sure, in most situations people won't sacrifice an aps character for a secondary healer. :P I've been to too many FCCs and Nirvanas to know that they go crazy about aps and they want EXP AND MONEY FASSSSST rush rush rush faster fasterrrrr. Lately I see less and less Barbs in squads, aps BMs and Sins take their place. Why would they want one more healer? To slow the squad down? LOL suuure. I almost never meet other casters in squads anymore... All Sins, BMs, Barb, fist Archer and RARELY a Veno because of amp. Buuut okay, good luck Mystics ROFL.0 -

there are , usually made by fails who think a new class with more appealling skill animations , more vivid weapons and homeplaces can totally make other classes useless.
Earthguards will be good additions to the game and will introduce new fun ways to do things in a squad , but they cant just replace classes , they have their weaknesses as well .

TBH about things, mystics and clerics will make one hell of a team, look at it this way, in FCC, bosses that aoe dmg and clerics have to stay focused on healing the tank, so now mystic will be there to deal with that aoe healing, and mystics little rez buff, its like OMFG great for clerics, mystics just have to put it on clerics and guess what? in the case of a squad wipe, the cleric can rez right than and there, saving time instead of the cleric having to return and waste time he could rez right there, you guys need to look at this in a good way, not OMG mystic will take over, think of them as cleric support, and i heard they have a def buff, thats ****ing amazing because if that is combined with clerics def buff than, tank-tanks easier much?

Both healing plants have 35 sec cd, weaker one last 1min while the stronger one last 20 sec. Weaker on heal 115 hp every 2 sec, addition heal effect base on caster's damage. Stronger on heal 100 hp every sec, healing effect increase by 50 every sec.
I think Mystic can heal more than Cleric...but Cleric got BB and buff. I hope Mystic's sage/demon third summon's skill won't replace it. Third summon already got skill that absorb damage, although not as much as cleric, and also not party, but sage/demon give every summon a new skill.
