silly excuses ppl make when they don't know how to play their class

ever been in a party with someone who failed to know their class, or fail in general, then made some funny excuse for it? list them here so we can see them 
I'll start with a few:
1. i press the wrong key
2. i had no chi
3.~bm gets killed by fire immunity boss' aoe in abbadon
~cleric res bm
~bm runs straight to boss without waiting for cleric to buff or heal
~bm attacks
~bm gets killed by boss' aoe again
~bm then says: lag
4. (lol this one happened recently while on one of my alts)
~party attacks boss in bh69
~barb DOESN'T use flesh ream or any aggro skills to hold aggro. at all. just auto attack.
~everyone else gets aggro and dies except the barb, cleric, and my alt
~everyone rages at barb for not knowing how to tank, barb says: i'm drunk

(bh39 on sin alt with lvl 5X veno and 9X bm. bm said he can solo the run for us so we went on in and made some progress but then...)

me: *busy fighting mob that creeped on me* yea...so why aren't you sending your herc out or doing anything?
bm: *just stands there*
me: and why the hell aren't you doing anything <bm's name>? you got more survivability than either of us!

~2 walkers creep on me while i'm fighting another mob, i die from the fire and 3 on one attacks
veno: *a few seconds after i died...* my herc can tank any mob in here xD
me: you two...are complete...IDIOTS.

number 1 and 2 are kinda bad examples, stuff happens, and i would not say they are making up any excuses if they actually did press wrong button. And unless its super obvious , tellin whos makin up bad excuses and whos not can be hard.
as for excuses ive heard......no cant think of any cept for the usual "STA does not reduce xp i tested it myself" from archers in fccb:surrender0 -

Well lag and wrong button press is very common even for good players. Lag is something we can't control especially since this is a PWE game we're talking about.
Solution for wrong button press: Limit your shortcut bar. Make it easy to look at.

I love when I squad up with Barbs/BM/Sins who don't know how to hold aggro....
The most common excuses?
"QQQ! OP FISH!11!1ONE!1!" --Wrong class.
"U Psy so stoopied." --U no hold agrro.
"Y u so hit hard?" --Hey, you're the one with the Jones's Blessing, not me.
"U suck!" --No, YOU suck. Learn to play. If you need me, I'll be tanking your boss.0 -
I usually use lag as an excuse. Most of the time I'm watching tv/bored/don't feel like healing. b:quiet0

lag is no excuse when you don't wait for the cleric to buff you after you've just been res'd and immediately run up to a boss 20 meters from where you died just to get 1-2 shotted again, like the bm i mentioned earlier. he had control of whether to wait for buffs or die, and he basicly chose to die again. its just plain stupidity b:byeRetired b:bye0 -

I've lagged in FF before and then when it stops I see i'm at a boss and everybody else is like 3 bosses behind me....I wondered wtf happened when that occurs >.<

I had a lvl 70 psy in party with me when i was lvl 50, he was some guy's friend that was helping. We were doing BH39.
He stole agro from me multiple times.

Generally the fights I end up having endgame with those who don't know how to play their class comes from archers/venos who stupidly don't know they shouldn't be using STA/soul degen on bosses in FF. "Please don't tell me how to play my class i r teh know how". My ***.
In other cases, it's hilarious watching venos pull in Warsong Metal BH. Veno pulls Earth mob, veno runs into BB (or never even leaves BB in the first place) while mob is standing next to other mobs.. oops BB heal ticked, here comes all the mobs.. "how did that happen?".0 -
My only excuse is when a squad of 80+ are doing my FB and they tell me to lure. My excuse is I can't they will kill my pet. And the mob with the boss always does. I always walk out of my FBs with my pet having lost all loyalty.BTW when did it go from tabber stays in back doing nothing staying out of the squads way in FBs to them having to lure and loose pet loyalty? My pet steals aggro my excuse I keep forgetting that my walker has a skill that steals aggro.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Bunch of idiots re-rolled there and hypered to 100
. So they don't understand the basic's of FB's.
Heck I run them every so often when I'm bored outta my mind, and basically with my BM I just pull the whole cave, all the way to the boss, and then sit there for a moment, tell the tabber to come to boss room. Kill all the mob's at once while the tabber just stands by the pillar.
(Cala axes + 7k hp + insane crit + weak mobs = mob's dead within 3 skills.) 0 -

lol? i healed most of my fbs and i see clerics healing in their fbs too. i seee barbs tank them.
now, ofc if you know that ur pet will die it's ok... but u cant really know if u have never tried.

Even if you know how to play your class you make mistakes, think people should chill a bit. Its not the end of the world if someone accidentally uses the wrong skill, pulls the wrong mob, aggros something etc. As long as you dont cause a massive party-wipe...like who cares if something isn't done 100% by the book. Sometimes when you're tired you can do some pretty stupid **** anyway, like running straight into a boss.
If i **** up on any of my lower lvls alts i just tell the truth. That i got power leveled in Frost from 1-90 in a few weeks and i have no freaking clue really how to play a BM and most my skills are still lvl 1. Normally people just go "lol" and thats about it. Maybe they think im joking b:chuckle0 -

I'm talking about at bosses. I know what I can handle. Isn't my first time through the first FBs. I think my main issue right now is everyone said glacial walker is better then magmite. Yet I have to babysit and heal it far more then I ever did with my magmite on HT. I have my heal skill maxed for my levels and alot of times I still cant keep up with healing it. Only difference between My RT character and my HT character is that Glacial walker. So I know what I can handle. But back when I played on HT the tabber stayed out of the boss fights. Cleric healing I understand.
Course I don't know what all changes was made wile I was gone but I can't seem to do the **** I used to at my current lvl.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Geeze, and to think, the highest level character on the server when I did my FB19 was level 45... I did my FB19 with 4 other level 19 players.
There was a Sin in a faction I used to belong to. He would go to the front of the squad, and when the veno was luring, he would run after the pet, and aggro everything, and cause a party wipe. EVERY TIME.

LMAO I've barely even bothered to lvl STA on my archer, for two reason. One u stated above. The second.... Does anyone even REALIZE it only lowers a mobs MAX HP TEMPORARILY? Soon as it wears off it's MAX HP goes back up, unless I was just completely seeing **** when i tried it. Which begs the question, what's the point. Unless u hit it RIGHT at the end... you're not shaving any time off of killing anything. Especially anything that takes awhile like a boss.
Erm i did just look on ecatomb.... Demon STA gets a 10% increase to crits.... still if it really does lower exp, u wouldnt' use it in FF or w/e anyway.... but, that would rock in PVP lol But i dont' do PvP so... b:surrender0 -
Had a great one in frost on Oceania Master. I usually time a HF just when the running mob is at max distance and dying. So I did so, went smoothly. About 10 seconds later next mob runs along, and the other BM (on hands) runs up, obviously mis tab-targets and sends a drakes ray straight up into the running mobs face. Cleric+archer wipe.
BM: Why you HF seph?
Me: You drake ray'd it...
Him: ME?! I don't have a weapon equipped.
Squad kinda stayed silent on that. Unfortunately cleric had a general hissy fit at losing exp and left, so we did the exp room without a cleric. In fairness BM handled his job well and that went fine so he wasn't a bad player, just struck me as a rather childish (and fail) attempt at passing blame b:chuckle0 -

Um a walker IS better then a Magmite. Look here and check the stats out for yourself (note these are when they're at lvl 100, and the lvl 90 list is gone). http://www.ecatomb.net/pwi/petstat.php
Walker's only got about 20 less P defense, but like 300 more HP and more Magic defense. And ya it's at lvl 100 on that list but if a MAg gets the same # of stat pts each lvl a walker does.... even at your lvl a walker should work out easier.0 -

To be fair, I only learned of this myself a few weeks ago. We had an archer earthflame pull the dinos and I threw the archer an IH expecting the dino to aggro myself and save the archer a charm tick that way. Next thing I know half a dozen mobs is after me. I was like o.O this is new.
In your case: herc hits mob and gets aggro. Veno stows herc and mob aggro shifts to veno. Veno gets healed by bb and the aggro SHOULD shift to the cleric. Instead, all the other mobs aggro out of the blue. It makes no sense but thats just the way things are
Then again, it makes no sense for mobs that are hit with parasite nova to run off in random directions aggroing stuff instead of being frozen and sealed either, but hey... *points to sig*b:dirty0 -

It's amazing how many archers have no idea how ST works... You even go so far to have it COMPLETELY backwards.
Level 10 ST takes off 16% of the max hp. You have that part correct. What does that mean in practice?
Let's say a mob has 100,000/100,000 hp. You hit it with ST and its hp is now 84,000/84,000 and the mob gets the ST debuff icon. Now, assuming no one else hits the mob during the next 30 seconds, when the debuff wears off the mob will have 84,000/100,000 hp because all you did was take 16% off its MAX (not current) hp.
To take it a step further, say someone hits the mob for 10,000 damage before you sharp tooth, meaning the mob has 90,000/100,000. You ST it, and it's hp goes to 84,000/84,000 because all you did was take 16% off its MAX (not current) hp.
Now lets assume someone hits the mob for 30,000 damage before you ST (mobs hp is 70,000/100,000). You ST and its hp will be 70,000/84,000 because all you did was take 16% off its MAX (not current) hp. Repeat after me. MAX not CURRENT hp.
Still with me? Good.
So in a nutshell, the way to get the most out of your ST is use it as an OPENING shot (using it again after it wears off will have absolutely NO effect).
For simplicities sake, I didn't count the actual damage you do with ST above, just trying to explain how the debuff works >_>b:dirty0 -

ya.... which is pretty much what i said isnt' it? it reduces it's MAX HP, and only TEMPORARILY. ok ya it's good as a opener i guess, IF you can take off that 16% (or lower) before it wears off.... otherwise u just said the same thing i did, it's USELESS any other time.
I love how people say u get things backwards then pretty much say ythe EXACT SAME THING.
Edit: Lol i just noticed my last post i said right at the end... at the end of it. I meant the beginning..... now if THAT'S what u meant by gettign it backwards....... otherwise u jsut said the same samn thing i did.... just in more detail. which i already knew....
So like i said, y bother freaking leveling it anyway, unless you're going to PvP.0
