I do agree everyone has their own view of "success" in this game.
Some like to grind, some like to chat, some like to party with each other, its great if their goal is that.
But most of the players try to be the best of their class / server to lead it, leveling to 100 is pretty much for most players a goal to start gathering endgame gear, find the correct build for each of the characters people may have if they screwed up on lower levels.
But this has been bashed for these people (including me), giving something so powerfull so easy, is just not how MMOs should behave. This is just a private server for me now and I hate private servers for this reason "pay to win"...
Most private servers end closing because of lack of players, and that is what I think will happen with this game. Sadly.
I don't want it to happen since I spent a lot of time and money making my character, but it is just BS that they act so greedy to do something like this.
TBH my goal was only to get 4 pieces of tt99, make the legs into nirvana tt99 to get channeling and work up my way to rank gear to get more channeling for my cleric.
But now I can get it for nothing, it is just... nonsense... I was expecting a challenge... not this bull ****.
I complain because if I wanted I could get this gear, but what would be the point? If all the hard work is now nothing.
And later, they will release more instances and gear (on new expansion) so rank gear will be **** when this happens.
And then, PW china will nerf 5 aps, then all bms / barbs / sins / even archers will be whining because of this, note that it has been officialy anounced, there will be a nerf...
All those players that worked their *** off to get all this, and it ends being nothing.

I get what you're saying there. I understand the frustration of having everything handed easier to players with cash who don't really seem to deserve it. It is especially annoying if you've spent hours working for something (or paid thousands of dollars) and then all of a sudden it becomes easy for everyone to get it. Trust me, I know what that's like, for example like how back in the day me and my hubby got our tt99 top by paying over 8m per ghost masks, etc etc.

Frankly, what's done is done. The next generation will always have it better than the one before, and it's the older generation that will pay for it, like how our parents (generalizing here) had it worse than we do now. That's how life progresses and we have to just make the best of it.

I for one also think that just because the easy road is there doesn't mean you have to take it. If you still want to work for that 4 pieces of tt99, you should do it. Sure there will be others that will have better rank gear in a day with a zip of a card, but you should also realize there will be even more players that are worse off then you that will look up to you with the tt99 gear. Cause frankly anyone with rank now is looked as being a "cash shopper" now so anyone else without it will probably be more respected and regarded anyway (although they might end up being owned in pvp more idk b:laugh)

I don't agree most people try to be best of their server, I think most actually try to beat their friends/guildies/people they usually hang out with. And usually people you hang out with are people in similar situation as you anyway.

Then again it's your guess against mine and I'm assuming a lot from what I've seen.
And everyone knows what happens when you assume b:laugh

Nah I just will stop playing this game and go on a P2P game where this kind of stuff does not happen, in the end it will be cheaper and fair for everyone, get what you worked for, not what you can pay for.

I wont get the stuff for the simple fact that I was getting somewhere, now my endgame gear is just a chop stick and to get the gear I'm talking about heh, I'd need a lot of time since I do work and I do have university classes so I'm not online 24/7.

Sadly I don't even have the time for farming this kind of gear, I could get it sooner or later the hard way, sure, but by then new gear will be available and again it will look like a chop stick and it will never end.

So I will stop here, will save up my comments, money and just wish ya'll fun gaming. Wish PWI was still my fave game but it ended last tuesday...

My both chars are too low level to give up now. Still a long way to go and many new things to experience. Plus I've set a goal for my archer - getting Heaven Shatterer and that 5000 rep points gear ( yes, without buying any rep badges from the boutique ) only with doing quests, TT runs, grinding etc.
My BM ? Well he will have to wait until I get him a reset note, but I`m completely stuck because of the current gold prices. b:cry

Yes, you are right, but here is why I wont do it :
1. I don't want to buy it, I want to struggle for it, I want to know that I've earned something.
2. My payment goes for much more needed things including paying bills and supporting my family.

As much as I love this game, I'm afraid to see my friends leave. I hope for a contradictory; something to rebalance the game allowing end game content to be equal. Essentially allowing all classes to do the same end game content without respite from an aps class. I honestly miss the days when I was chasing after a boss from when a wizzy snapped aggro from me after using a spark or big attack.


The fun in the game comes from the unexpected IMO.


I miss wizzys pulling aggro so I do hope for a massive boon to their attacks. Also, my best friend in game being a true barb (non claw barb) and my GF being a true archer (Bow specific) I'm accustom to swapping aggro with him, its a method of tanking we've derived that works for us.

The pain is though, random aggro on bosses in Nirvana, so in hopes, classes get boons according to their natural weapons. It's sad to see people rage about the sales, I was upset about it too at first, but with my good friends in game I'm not ready to leave. But if my friends get bashed into the ground moreso, denying them moreso of what they enjoy why they built their classes specifically, and get judged negatively for it, I dunno.... the game needs a revamp, a rebalance, and an all around overhaul, which likely wont happen. I'm holding on for the expansion, but some serious issues need to be resolved without the detramentally long resolution that was recieved as, "to little, Too late," by a majority (Dpoints) of players.


Maybe we'll get classes using class skills, instead of classes just sparking

Meanwhile, I do not know about you, but I have been here for a couple years, and I am still here because of my friends. People joke about carebears, and ok, I am one of them. But we have fun even when we have given up on being efficient.

I do wish they would spruce up this game somewhat (and I hate dying in TW because of what feels like rubberbanding issues), but we shall see, after this expansion, what they think they should be doing with the game, and how bright the future looks.

I whish you were right, believe me. And you should be right when you say that when someone don't like a game, go play any other game, but it looks like there are a lot ppl who believe they are a majority and by saying the game is dead they can "punish" the company cuz of their dissapointment -.-' . This is just a game, to start with.

sign... Started on a different version way back and then came to pwi and nearing my old lvls again. Got a toon of every race and class (I hate wizzies to squishy) but its still fun to juggle them all and get lvls here and thereb:victory

~signs~ I dont care if Im called a lowbie or whatever, Id rather play this then complain about how boring its gotten just cause youve hit 100+. Fine your a high lvl, woohoo, instead of b*tching and complaining that the games dead or whatever help others or something to entertain yourself.

In no way or for are you being ordered to follow my advice, but in my opinion it would cut a bit of the complaints or whatever. It my opinion tho so twist it to whatever you want cause I dont really care anymore. Go do TW, WQ or whatever if you dont wanna be helpful to other players, part of your faction or not, just dont complain you have nothing to do when you damn well do.
