[NOTICE] Daylight Saving Maintenance [Complete]

Hey guys, it's unfortunate, but we're going to have to turn off the servers for approximately two hours on Saturday night / Sunday morning to account for Daylight Savings Time.

Here's the schedule:


East Coast Servers (Raging Tide, Harshlands, Dreamweaver):

Servers will shut down on 11/6 at 9:30 PM PDT! This is equivalent to 11/7 12:30AM EDT (or server time)

Servers will be down for approximately 2 hours!



West Coast Servers (Heavens Tear, Lost City, Sanctuary, Archosaur)

Servers will be shut down on 11/7 at 12:30 AM PDT (or server time)

Servers will be down for approximately 2 hours!

    That would be Standard time Frankie as we are already in Daylight savings.

    Hmmm I can guarantee something will be implemented, perhaps being able to buy sunshine packs in bundles? Hopefully something bigb:surrender.

    No question on server time :) pretty sure everyone is just happy this Event is happening on it. ^-^

    Tho I was wondering if you know when the next Zen Sale is going to go on?

    What time does the 2x end on saturday? The 130k facebook fan thread doesn't say a time just says on saturday...
    Is it gonna end at the server maitnence or sooner?
    And are they gonna work on the DQ reward system problems or on tuesday night?

    They said they were adding a day to it, so add a day to what it was supposed to be ended.

    I actually thought they would do that as an emergency maint 1-2 days after maint. Oh no, forgot packs in bundles, quick must take down server to add!

    But I guess they decided to wait another few days to do this... would be surprised if they don't.

    Um Mista..... Saturday IS THE EXTRA DAY u dimwit. Weren't u the one that posted in MY thread and said something similarly stupid? HE'S ASKING FOR THE TIME (like i did), not what day.

    It's posted in the time that it started. Which was 1 pm pst, or 3 pm est. So 2x will end on that time, saturday...er..today, now that I look at my clock. xD

    that's the time it STARTED!!! damn that's like the 5th time i've said that to someone...... that doesn't mean it's ending at the same time. They've ended it at different times before.

    btw learn to count, 1 pm Pacific is 4 EST......

    Conventianl wisdom holds: If no specific time is stated for when it ends, assume it'll end the same time it started.

    Also, I'm sorry if my no-sleep irritated you by me getting the time off, by 1 hour. ***.

    Ive always wondered why the servers have to be shut down for the daylight savings ? i personaly dont know of any other popular game that has to do this.

    I've been asking for 2 days, Frankie could care less to respond, and no one else knows....:/

    Apparently it's not ending when they started it though (at the same time i mean), cause it's 30 min PAST that and it's still going. Maybe they'll turn it off when we get booted tonight for them to take two hours to change the clocks.... lol Guess I'll mow the lawn tomorrow...

    well take a look at last week when the rest of the world switched to day light savings time. Somehow is screwed up with the TW times on the map and had it 1 hour earlier(only guessing that the map was screwed up due to DST). b:surrender

    No they wont.


    12:30 am is 3:30 EST for west coast
    9:30 PM is 12:30 am EST for east coast


    TW starts at 8 PM server time. SO they will be over for a hour and a half

    I quit. Nothing ever changes @ PWE or PW CN . Expansion was over hyped. Guild bases (that looked cool) can be destroyed, so why waste the time if your a in a small faction like me.

    I really think PWI should take this opportunity to put the multi-pack Sunshine Packs in the cash-shop as originally promised. Also, since we were deprived of being able to get them at a discount for 5 days PWI should make it up to us by putting them at 25% off, like they did with Tiger Packs.

    (Translation: "I already sold all my Tiger Packs and bought cheap Gold, so the sooner Gold prices sky-rocket the sooner I can turn a profit.")
