This is a quote I posted on Narla's forums and was requested to be posted here on the PWI forums. It explains my decision as the leader of Narla to resign and disband...

After I left and put an alt in charge of the faction I listened to my members and they disagreed with my decision to leave. They chose to try to make Narla live as a faction again. I handed KaiserNeko the leadership and left the faction...

In the future:
All accommodations will be made for them to defend this weeks TW.
The Bank items will be transfered over.

I am sorry but the drama has taken the fun out of this game and all I tried to do was make it better for everyone. I took the time to make this as organized as possible so when I did play I had a happy community to come to. I worked my *** off to make this faction the best it could be but the people didn't want it in the end, mostly because I feel people were power hungry. Anyways here it is... My post to Narla... Eat it UP... I know everyone will enjoy dissecting it. Call me a coward call me a fail. I don't care.

    I am not going to try to overhaul this faction anymore that I didn't even start to beging with, because every time I turn around people say Narla isn't the same as it used to be. Well, no shiit, it isn't the same, I am NOT Nahktuul. I am a different leader with different standards and expectations and ways of operating. I will no longer walk in the shadow of another leader, after all these months it is time to put it to rest. For the record Nahktuul was a great leader, and I respected him; I am just different.

    Sorry Mango, it's simply just the brutal cycle of guilds (empires) that you were faced with, not bad leadership towards Narla. Actually, I'd say you were one of the best leaders I've ever seen in a game. It is just that when a guild gets too big, the leader becomes overwhelmed with the PMs, etc. and downfall occurs because the spirit that existed when the guild first started diminishes over time.

    Furthermore, Narla's reputation is in a downward spiral on a very small server.. A VERY SMALL SERVER. There is not much we can do to stop the rumors, the lies, conspiracies. Trust me I have been trying for over 2 months, it hasn't done much. It is just going to continue to get worse. What I am getting at is this, I know where this faction stands as a whole and it isn't the faction I chose to lead when I took leadership and I have decided, for the better good fo the server to disband. I am not going to bust my *** any longer for a faction that will disappear when FW comes out. I am not going to bust my *** for a faction that plays their alts all day. I will no longer allow the masses in this faction to represent selfishness, greed, immaturity and drama to taint the image of Narla, the Narla I HELPED BUILD - and honestly I've done everything I know how to, to change the people but fact is I can't change you all, and you all do not want Narla to win anymore as a whole. Actions speak louder than works and there is barely any action. Most of you are fixated on the idea of being in the best major faction and don't understand what it took the elder of this faction to get there. Some may argue to boot all these people that have cause it to be this way - I say, it has gone too far.

    Clarification on the most recent drama in the faction. BDoomed didn't like Katanyia as Director because of how she spoe to him during our meeting about how he was handling Marshal. He latched on to some of the issues we were having in the leadership, aside from the problems with BDoomed, (Communication wasn't being followed through with) to gain momentum to have her removed from Directorship. PuLsEofHell (or however he spells his dumb name) and BDoomed approached me and said if Katanyia doesn't resign from Director we will leave with 10 to 20 members; he held the faction ransom unless he got his way. I told him to give me a legitimate reason as to why she shouldn't be Director, he couldn't articulate a good reason. All fo the people that he got to back him previously about having her demoted came to the conclusion that it was more about fixing COMMUNICATION issues than Katanyia specifically. BDoomed got upset that he didn't get his way and left, his real life friends followed him. Now they are starting Darkside and turning our (narla) members against us with lies.

    our aspiration in Elusive is not to take over the map the way Narla wanted.
    We became strong in efforts to compete with narla..

    Now Narla is gone..
    We are trying to enjoy this game and make it a pleasure for more to play.
    In our mind, and I'm sure in most people's minds, Elusive accomplished what we set out to do.. however, we never thought Narla would be so weak from the inside to fall apart this easily.

    Well... we did reset the map for the whole server to TW more and enjoy more.
    Elusive will keep wanting competition... we really do hope that somebody can come up the way we did and give us those fun TWs we had the past few weeks with Narla.

    We welcome it all.

    Win or lose, we won't bend, we won't break.

    A suggestion was given that we disband since our goals had been accomplished..
    But Elusive has such a big sense of pride... nobody wants that to happen.
    We don't care about taking the map, we don't care about being considered the best, we don't care about what other big factions normally set out to do.

    Proski has said many times "our time in this game is too short to waste"
    and he's absolutely right.
    We will just keep having our fun until our time is over.

    It is not history repeating itself again.
    We are not Narla.
    We had different goals than Narla.
    The goals we started with are the ones that still remain.

    Further clarification... BDoomed was demoted for not representing Narla's standards. Defacing our name on the PWI forums, getting on Alt characters and WC'ing drama with Elusive while we (Katanyia and I) were torying to get the Elusive drama to dwindle and dissipate. He then lied to me as the defensive coordinator in the middle of the TW against Elusive that lasted 3 hours and came to a draw. All of this came down to me confronting him on his actions. He didn't like being called out for being an idiot... so be it. On top of that he had been increasingly becoming rude to people within the faction. Fact is he got too comfortable and made too many mistakes and now through lies he is trying to form up with PuLsE a new faction.

    I will make my own TW faction based on friendship, similar goals, integrity, respect, and teamwork and it won't have a reputation of Narla to weight it down. I have a list of the people in narla that has destroyed Narla from the inside out and I am here to say, stay away from me; I want no part in your endeavors, you know who you are.

    Those who are intered please contact me on Vent to be a part of what we intend to do.

    Look Narla, you had your run and you'll be remembered for that. And Mango I'm sure you did all you could as a leader of a large and for the longest time, strongest faction on the server. I cannot even phathom how hard or stressful that must have been. It's sad you folded so easily, all of you, Narla. But it is what it is. Maybe you were meant to go different ways, to better the server and make other, smaller factions stronger with you divided now. So Narla, pat yourself on the back because , Inside we both know what's been going on. We know the game and we're gonna play it. And if you ask me how I'm feeling.     This is what happens when 80% of your top lvl players on the server sit in front of archo and pk all day instead of playing ,
    I dont know what Narla's internal problems and external ones were, but you should just step down and not disband the unit. I dont know whats happend and ill see when i get on here shortly.

    Just to clarify what ever mango said, everyone knew i wasnt in any faction nor was i in a faction for a good 12 hrs, we didnt want to get into a faction, we didnt want to be bothered anymore me and maiden wanted to play the game for fun after we left narla, but apparently u just didn't like it. You kept bothering us through various of ur loyal members, and at the end u pissed us sooo much that we created this faction. The whole server knows and specially narla knows i never asked for power, for me power is how i potray myself, you cant deny it urself that i wanted to resign way before you all started your sht. Pulse was nice enough to try and get some sense in you still he failed cause you were too stubborn, hope you do realise that all those people who were your friend are not there by your side. And many of us dont forget this that you were also named the "Leader who ran away" on sanctuary, and on archo which wont ever change. Now for the BIGGEST secret on archo server, narla bank robbery which was directly and very quickly been blamed on Rob a.k.a Nahktull.

    It was such a convenient time for a theft cause niether me or mango were in town and didnt have access to game. Now after all your robbery happened, i managed to get on to the gmail account where we had the spreadsheets for TW pay and sign up, the whole TW sign up spreadsheets were missing it was DELETED. and the ONLY and ONLY person who had logged on that gmail in the past 5 hrs was..... from florida. Many are to blame me here that i had kept this thing quiet but i made my choice, if i had revealed the whole story back then, narla would have died long ago, in my posts there after i did try to maintain a balance as to not point fingers at anyone, but not blame Rob for it for sure. Mango its time you accept that you did some good publicity stunts to gather faction sympathy, its time you accept ur mistakes, get some remorse you need it. And please do not try to defame me any further you cant do it, people know who i am and who u are. My end post on this issue, if you want to clarify about the points i pointed out you can please do in ingame pms, i hate to see mango making a fool of himself, and yeah as to "end of narla" the phoenix bird rises from its own ashes.


    Oh also about me being fail to lead against elusive and what not sht u came up with, most of the people dont even know that u were the one leading it right 10 mins in the TW, and people were asking me and a other wizards to take care of archers, so erm if ur nukers try to take down archers or are ORDERED to take down archers then who takes the barbs ? your HA clerics ? Anyways people on archo server know my capabilities as a TW lead, and your saying that it was BDoomed's fault wont change anything. Anyways cya all ingame. Byes mango nice spam posts btw :)

    but you have to agree its lame that most ppl would rather spend all day PKing in a spot then go i dont know, DO anything at all :(

    narla is not disbanding.

    i have always said i will be with narla till the day they do not need me. narla was about to disband, about to become nothing more than a memory. and when i saw that there were still people there who wanted to fight. i stood up and said i would take the responsibility of leader of Narla. this faction means everything to me, the people in it are my friends. i will fight for narla as they have fought for me countless times. Narla is still strong and will show up at every TW regardless of how many we send, and we still have a good group of people ready to go.

    we are going to work on our problems and become a better family. We will not stop until we have acheived our goal.

    Come on guys! WTH! it is just one tw loss for god sake! Regroup and fight Elusive OMG . Havent I QQed enough? Seriously why does this need to happen just after 1 loss? ( the other was just defending so did not count) Just stay together and tw for fun, I am sure you guys enjoy those TWs deep down as much as we do. What else will you guys do at lv100+? I have lost so many TWs, but they are mostly fun loses as long as no trash talking DURING the TW.

    I would not mind if you guys started collapsing during the time you guys had no good matchups, i would understand that since no fun TWs, but just when things start to get interesting, you guys left?

    You guys are taking the only fun left for me on this server.... But this is sad and lame.

    (Hint hint: PW-MY-EN open pvp server in october :D)
