    Soon after I first started playing I found an on-line interview with the investors who were bringing PWI to North America. I remember thinking that they came across as pompous, self-congratulatory, and frankly quite childish with a very "My way or the highway!" attitude to how they were going to run things. However, they did correctly state that the game was already very successful and that they'd be foolish to mess around too much with a proven winning-formula.

    After having read it my thoughts were that PWI is a good game, but not to put too much trust in those in charge to stick to their original promise to not muck it up. So that's why I'm still here.

    Yep ArcanumPrae was Konari, it's true.


    Basically, when I brought Konari on-board a few months ago, it was just him and AryannaMage as mods during a very rough time in PWI's history. Players knew and respected Ary, but Konari was the new guy, and as such, became the target for much flaming, both in-game, and in the forums.

    Konari is a nice guy, and you know, when these flames hit, they eventually got to him a bit, so we decided to have him leave for a while as I got a new mod group together.

    I was hoping that, by starting anew with a new crew, Konari would be able to have more support this time around, and hopefully much of the flaming would be absorbed by the whole group, instead of just one person.

    Unfortunately, as you've seen, it didn't work out, as Konari's speech is a little too distinct for his own good (lol). It's kinda sad because he really did want to help out, and perhaps was a little overzealous in this desire.

    Anyway, in conclusion, Konari's going to step down again, and I'll be on the lookout for a new mod to join up.


    This is a pretty interesting thread, though. I'll leave it open for now so I can get some final feedback from you all before it gets depth'd.

    This is a pretty interesting thread.

    That was my favorite part.

    Aside from the part where you tried to treat us like dumb children once again and got caught in the act. That was a pretty fun part too.

    If Konari couldn't handle himself the first time, what the hell made you think he'd handle it this time? In fact, what made you think you would make the situation any better by lying to your players about who you're making moderator?

    We are telling you that you need to be promoting people who we can trust and then you are lying to us about who you're putting into power.

    That's so outrageous, I can't even begin. I can't even begin. To put into words how disgusted I am.

    Frankie, I don't expect much from the likes of you any more, but I expected better than this. A lot better.

    You are manipulative, you are deceptive, and you are unfair in that anybody who gets in your way is going to eventually disappear because you can't tolerate people speaking out against you.

    I respected Ary. I have come to respect Frankie. Kanto ... well he has foot in mouth disease sometimes but I think for most part I can respect him.

    However


    Konari was a doosh. He had a love of power and a bad way about him when he used it PERIOD

    All I have to say is...

    HOLY SNOT FUDGE BUCKET... this is one LONG *** post, sad thing is that I am sure there were plenty of very interesting posts made by our colleagues who also play the game, that will probably be missed due to the endless amount of one liners here in this thread.

    These mods, may very well do a good job, and for all I know they will, but they do have their work cut out for them. I have set back for quite some time and silently watched many moderators from a lot of different forums, some of which I help moderate, I have seen many mods make decisions about what they thought needed to be done, some I agreed with, while others I did not.

    While many of the decisions pwi's mods make are questionable at best, they have undoubtedly made a few good decisions; however, right now the player base is extremely upset with how the mods are handling things, normally they can find other scapegoats, or can pass it off as just players... being players. The new, and old mods alike all need to tread carefully, (which they are probably trying to do,) or else who truly knows what will happen? Players feel really under valued, and under appreciated, and in a time like this, the last thing pwi needs atm is another reason for the community to be in an uproar, oh wait, I guess it already is, judging from the volume of this thread.

    So again good luck new mods, and have fun moderating this... place, its not like all of our anger... is dumbfounded. ;) =x

    It does get stressful, and even harder to do the job once you start siding with the people, so I really can't blame a single one of you for trying to stay neutral on this heated topic.
