Waffle, if we were to compare the insults you threw at me to the insults I throw at you, your list would far outweigh mine.

Be careful of throwing stones when you live in a glass house.

Also, try not to get this thread locked. It's going rather pleasantly until you decide to intervene with all your insults and nonsense.

This seals the deal and even more my wallet.

**** FW, I refuse to risk spending a load of money on another one of their games just so we can go down the same path PWI has taken.

The GMs are really pathetic in this game. They ignore valid arguments completely even when they are all posted in a thread THEY THEMSELVES have created. The only time they even lift a finger to their submit button is if there is a thread that involves players kissing ***.

My faction on Dreamweaver server deserves a public apology for what was clearly a bad call on the GMs' side. Our reputation has been smeared completely due to this. Many of the members are frustrated, and we all feel completely cheated out of this week's TW, for GMs to think its ok to just ignore this is quite sad.

who cares? they just discouraged the idea of noobs trying to take on the standing powers, if you think about it, theyre advising them to save their charms, herbs, apoth items, etc. saving the noobs valuable time and money.

so, what about the noobs that wont get TW experience for this? they will go into a high lvl TWing faction without any experience what so ever because they werent allowed to enter TW when they were lower lvl?

    BS imo

remember when gamma was the fad? how did people study on how to do these and get experienced? YOUTUBE AND GUIDES. it says that this is classification of TW rules in respect to what will get you banned. it then lists a long list of groups that shouldn't bid. its not very clear from the wording what this has to do with getting one banned. thus, nothing is really stopping these guilds from competing if they want to.

which is funny since it claims its clarification lol. why are small low-level factions being lumped into a list of various ways of fake bidding anyway? they can't exactly ban a faction for being too weak to TW, so why include it.

Honestly this wouldn't have happened if a specific faction in Dreamweaver didn't decide to suddenly hit puberty and turn into angsty teenagers.

Lol well on Dreamweaver theres only 2 power house factions, thats 200 players per faction, 400 all up. Where do the rest of us go to TW?

I remember an incident where one land-owning faction issued tickets on low lvl factions bidding, that land-owning faction reported it as "fake bidding". However, those factions whose leaders got banned were actual legit factions, and the fault was on the faction reporting those tickets.

Point is, make a ticket sound legit, and action will probably be taken....

Lol the wording is terrible. Factions cannot bid if they don't have a legitimate chance to win? On HT, that means nobody except Enrage can bid. I'm sure some other servers feel the same way. Radiance is trying, but they don't really have a "legitimate" chance to win if no one else attacks with them and we can field our top 80.

    Stopped reading right there.

Youtube and guides laid out some basics, yes.... but there were also plenty of gamma training squads that would take people that were new and inexperienced and have them experience (!!) gamma firsthand so they could properly learn and understand how to run it.

Oh and how can you compare an instance vs mindless mobs with going up against players that have done something before and are totally experienced? That's like telling someone who's never PK'd before to go watch youtube, read guides, and then go take on the top PKer on their server who, more likely than not, will easily roll the newbie due to the massive experience difference alone.

this is just f****** over both big and small factions

small factions can't bid at all and big factions can't have any fun defenses. If the second strongest faction wants to bid on the strongest faction, they can't because they "don't have a legitimate chance of winning".

So you want to tell me that if small factions bid, they won't get banned because the rules only say 'should' not bid instead of 'will be banned'?

    Am I reading wrong between the lines or what? Isn't this considered breaking the rules if small factions bid and that they will gey banned if they do? O.o;

I get the strangest feeling they secretly own a large share in the next big MMO being released, and want us to move there.

I wonder what this MMO could be b:cute

No one would move anywhere if they are the same people. Different game with the same people will still be screwed one way or another. It's the concept they choose to follow.

If an entire faction is lv80-90 in average non cash shopped gear, they stand no legitimate chance of beating one of the huge land owning factions, who let's face it, can put out a full set of 10x players with epic gear easily. Don't give me anything about "they might win with skill" or w/e. It's never going to happen.

What will happen is the same thing with PK in Secret Passage. Players will abuse this. A faction will put out their best, maybe fifty level 70-90ish players and some @sshat in the guild they go against will report them for having no "legitimate chance" and the GM's will start handing out bans left right and centre and there will be massive uproar.

Oh. Oh, good job, PWI. You just made my day - I applaud you!

Wow. That's all there is to say. While I'm for one against quick, useless 5 minute TWs, I just gotta say - I'm kind of regretting unistalling the client now. You know, just to watch the drama of the following several weeks unfold.

methinks the point was that factions that know they have no chance shouldnt really waste their time and efforts, if they know theyre going to lose.

That would be on Heaven's Tear all of them but the sea of cyan.... guess no one should bid... yep yep.
