lol, you're pretty much clueless. It is the OP who is trying to pigeon-hole what this game is supposed to be about, when in fact, it's much more than that. I'm not commenting on the use of expel to grief, duh... did I really need to reiterate that for you? Hmm.. I think I probably did.
Clueless is when you go into a thread and tell others how you do things and want them to do it your way. Situations differ in a PVE and PVP server. Not everyone plays the game to be l33t like you i.e. be able to kill the WB with one hand, pk the enemy with the other, farm that mat with your right leg, farm that herb with your left and **** all at the same time.
Who is he (or you for that matter) to dictate how a game is supposed to be played? If you hadn't noticed, this is a multiplayer game and you have to deal with and interact with others. Trying to limit the scope of the way you like to play this particular game to everyone is just idiotic as is your adolescent teen text leet speak. I'm sorry, any valid point you wish to think you might have had was pretty much lost by your obvious lack of intelligence. lol
And who are you to dictate how others should play the game? Look at what you originally posted. You were telling everyone how it's done in LC and implied that's how it should be done. L33t much?

The title of this thread is "World boss robbery" not "expel is used for greifing", which is why I've been commenting on the actual focus of this thread. Get it yet? I doubt it, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt whether or not you actually deserve it.

Exactly. There are no signs saying "you cannot kill this world boss if someone else is tryong to kill it". I've had world bosses stolen from my faction and we've done the same to our enemies. In the end it's just two different groups of people having fun. Funny how if you don't play the game how someone else wants you to you get ridiculed or whatever, especially when it's them with some sort of narrow or simplistic view of how everyone should follow their idea of what everyone is supposed to do.
What's good for the gander doesn't meant its good for the goose as well. Your idea of fun may not necessarily be applicable to someone else. See? you're trying to tell every one what your idea of fun is and telling them this is the way to have fun. Narrow and simplistic much?

Yes, people would complain. They have two effects they have the option of changing, being either the silence or the immunity. If they remove immunity, it becomes completely PvP oriented, and people will complain about this because there is a reason they have it available to cast on friendly targets. If they remove the silence, it becomes completely squad based and cannot be used by magic characters as a starter to keep their opponent from attacking them. Other than these, they can only change who it can be cast on, which as I said, is the problem in the first place, and that would be welcomed by many.
You can take revenge, and it might just keep repeating over and over, but only if you try to kill that boss again. You get your revenge, run off and fight another boss, or stick around and annoy them a little longer before finding a new one. However, like I said, you can just ignore it and let it go anyways, but revenge is always far more sweeter to the taste buds, as well as being just fun.
Yes, it is a discussion about how this is a problem. However, it is only a problem on PvE servers as in PvP servers it could be cast regardless. Now, as it is a discussion, it is my belief that if you are in PvP mode, whether on a PvP or PvE server, you should be affected by it. If you are not though, it should not affect you. Any magic based class (with the possible exception of Cleric) would be unhappy as this is made for them as a starter skill in PK. It's simple, they change it to be squad based, which is very easy to do. Can a Cleric do the party buffs without you being in it? No, so it's pretty much copy/paste from that on the targets affected.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

about squad buffs for cleric, it only affect squad members because the skill description indicate so:
Increase the health and mana regeneration rate of all squad members
within a 15 meter radius by 10 points per second for 1 hour.
Normal single target buff work outside of squad.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Yes, which means in the skill's file, it has specific targets it seeks out to buff. Obviously you can do the same to Expel to change it to affect only squad members. The description doesn't rule what the skill does. Proof of this is in our many skills which have incorrect descriptions, such as Powerdash.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I have no problem with an expel that you can cast on hostile targets as long as it follows the normal PVP protections.
Ok like I said it is the Blessing fliter that needs changed not the skill. It is very possible that with my blessing filter not set to cast on faction or squad members only, that I can heal an opponent attacking me. How messed up is that? It also means that if I wished to use expell on an enemy, I could very well end up healing them too, works the same way.

To blame the blessing filter is to admit that Expel is a positive buff (like heal) when it is not. You yourself say you use it to hinder enemies (despite the skill description saying it is to be used on allies). There is nothing wrong with skills to be used on enemies. I have lots of skills that I can use on enemies. But if expel is used as such then it should count as a hindering spell:
1) It should work in duels against an opponent.
2) It should work in TW.
3) It should not work on blue names.
That's what you should be able to do with hindering skills but the problem with Expel is that it counts as a positive buff and used to grief. This is the issue people have with it. Not that it is used to PK, that it is easily abused to GRIEF. Please don't bother replying unless you have something to say about the abuse.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

I guess the majority agrees with that. Its easier to just change the chosen target configuration of the skill. I dont wanna change more on it, effects shall stay untactable. I just wanna change the fact of the target u can choose.

If it's just expel that's even nice. I saw alphamale too and then there's no chance of getting the wb back since that genie skill gives the user all aggro. So he can just fly away and WBs resets.
All in all I NEVER kill my WBs at the places they spawn. I always lure them to another spots exactly because of idiots that kill you squad for fun by using genieskills and stuff.

And this isn't a FAIR game if u didn't realized so far. You don't pay anything for it so don't expect anything from it. Just like real life when you build a castle in the sand, some jerk can come and run all over it ruining your half a day work.

Some ppl are able to rob ur worldboss by using a genie skill called expell. That skills makes all players (except ppl who are in pk or duelling I guess) immobilized for a short time.
