Fail squads and awesome Clerics.

i'm still a low levl, so i dont have ridiculous stories like this
but
i was levl 52 at the time, and decided to help with a fb29. i was the only cleric, 5x, there was a veno levl 32, a bm levl 31, tabber tank levl 30, 2 sins, one levl 24 and one levl 46. i'm still in arch seeing if i won my auction, and they party chat to me that theyre already inside getting ready. in about 5 minutes i get there, and theyre not in the first few rooms, so i go ahead and i see a mass of about 8 people lying dead outside of dismal. 4 of them were in the party i was in. the only one alive was the levl 31 bm running around with an hp charm (he was a cs ****..lol) and i res the levl 46 sin, thinking he'll be able to sneak his way through. as soon as i finish resing, he jumps up and starts attacking dismal and tells me to spam heal him with sor and IH. he told me to "leave the buffs for later, just heal me." the bm steals dismal away from the sin while i'm finishing resing people, and his charm ticks again and his def buff runs out and hes dead. all the other dead people outside dismal were whisping me to res them, seeing as i was the only one alive.. cough. i get the whole party resed and i tell them to wait until dismal aggros someone else..lol. they think that i meant that i would res them, a levl 52 super squishy pure mag build (i did have phys def shards though). the 46 sin reses and decides hes strong enough to take dismal so we can all run away.. lol? i already res'd everyone, so i wait by the entrance (not in it yet) so i can stack a few IH's on everyone before they go through. the levl 24 sin gets through and everyone else dies a few feet away from where they were. dismal gets killed by a passing party, and i res everyone that were dead outside the room. it took about 15 minutes to get all of them to get through to the main dungeon. most of them started with about 60+% exp, and all of them ended at 0%. as soon as we got through, the levl 24 sin gets all arrogant about being the only one to get through the first time, and decides that after i stack a few IH's and buff him, that he should be able to get through everyone.. everyone else decides that its a good idea, and they just rush in, and die again, complain to me that i'm not BotPH'ing them, calling me a phail cleric because i had levl 10 plume shot and not levl 10 BotPH, complaining that i wasn't charmed and i didn't have +4 on all my equips, and said i did little damage for a levl 52. i did about 4k with plume, and had a base of 27xx-3000 magic atk. they then complained that i didn't have enough vit for a cleric, and that i was going to get them wiped cos i couldn't tank quingzi when we got to him.. when we of course, GOT to qingzi, the happy little levl 24 sin complained that he wanted to tank, so i giggled and said sure whatever. he told me that i should pay for his new 3* gear, and was threatening to tell GM's that i was harrassing him for not healing him (even if i spammed IH. WS had too long of a channel to keep his 920hp squishiness and full NPC gear alive..) The sin went and complained to his 'high levl friends' (levl 35 and levl 42 archer and sin respectively) that i was a phail, and they tried to PK me while i was grinding and questing..
idk if all runs at low levls are like this

oooo another funny one
in my bh39, we had a levl 7x veno to help, because we only had like.. 4 people. lol . the veno had a lure genie, and when we get to the first blob of clumped together mobs, we tell the veno to lure. The veno says ok, and runs into the mob without a pet and dies. complains that i phail. i res him, but tell him to wait until we try to pry off some mobs so she wont die. she comes back and dies again, saying wtf, noob. oh dearie.. apparently she didn't know what luring was, and thought that veno was the luring class cos they looked like animals so therefore could run faster .________________.

ok here is my story:

BH39 me + an axe BM [wunderwaffen] + my cleric girlfriend [indianwomen]:

Here it is:Squad was fine [killing mobs,healing,buffing etc.]...
Until cleric died because with her healing skills she aggroed the boss!She died and so I do [because I wanted to save her].My cleric and I released and again I wasn't very focused and I pulled out mosnters by wrong......she tried to heal me but she [again] died and [again] so I do......ok again released corpse and comed back until wunderwaffen started to blame my cleric girlfriend that 'She is the most noobish cleric he ever seen...nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooob" and stuff like that...because of that indianwomen left the squad and so I do [because that BM was very idiot if he start to blame one of my friends [or girlfriends] who are CLERICS!!!+ I don't want to squad with persons such as him again!]

The awesome part is that at last indianwomen sacrified herself for supporting me!
And the FAIL part is that BM started to make indianwomen "noooooooooob" FOR WHAT?+ that person maked me say "sorry" for my cleric girlfriend cuz I invited her in a squad with that person!

i feel your pain
unwined runs are what can really show total lack of skill and / or understanding of game mechanics in some ppl...
(not trying to say im an expert, as im not, but well... )

Speaking of unwined runs, I did an unwined fb69 sometime ago. It turned out that the barb didn't bother to get wines, so it took us hours to get it done, but not that long since we had a lvl 100 BM helping out. Well, some time later, after a lot of mob clearing, we killed the turtle mob. Barb tabber asked for drops, and we had to gently explain to him that since he didn't wine, it pretty much counts as a bh - you keep whatever you get and no one is obligated to give you drops. Nonethless, it was exhausing to help clear out all those mobs... b:surrender

Another funny story is when one of my friends called me when I was just about to help a good veno friend of mine solo a TT run. Since we had to wait for people to help open the TT and such, I asked my friend what was going on. She explained to be that she was helping with an fb39, and that she couldn't trust the cleric. I asked her why. She told me that he's "dumb and slow," and that she had died multiple times, that it was frustrating for her... and that even the lvl 80+ BM died. Turned out that they lost a lot of exp since cleric had horrible res. Since I was waiting, I decided to help while I waited for people to arrive at TT. I left my veno friend's squad and got an invite into my other friends squad.

Surprise, surprise, the cleric was the lvl 39 tabber. Other members of the squad were me, a lvl 80ish cleric, my lvl 80ish sin friend who convinced me to help, a lvl 80ish BM, a lvl 50ish wizzie and another person I can't remember, also lvl 50ish.

I entered the cave and rejoined the group while they were still on their way to Farren. Ironically, while I was called in because the tabber cleric was not competent at keeping people alive, I didn't do much in the way of healing. I threw a heal every now and then at whoever needed it (mostly the lvl 80ish sin and BM), but for most part...

I ripped apart anything that got in my way. b:chuckle

I was one of the strongest DDs in my squad, seeing as my sin friend was using a bow to avoid stealing aggro. My healing allowed me to withstand triple aggro while I swiftly killed the mobs and moved on to the next.

The funny part came at Calcid. While I was on a killing spree, I saw the tabber cleric try to heal the BM while he was trying to **** apart one of those chicken mobs. Guess what he was doing?

... He was spamming Blessing of the Purehearted while the BM was fighting. b:shocked

No wonder why everyone kept dying while he was trying to solo heal the cave. In the end I asked him to stop healing and let me do all the work. He pretty much said, "awww, you're no fun." Well, it was fun for me to really make the fb go smoothly and to stop everyone from dying. I wanted the best for the squad, and that's what they got. No one died after I got in squad, fb39 went rather smoothly and my friend said "thank you for helping." I was happy. b:pleased

similar experience with mine. olny i was the poor and noob cleric lol. I asked apology to the barb that time, but he's a nice person and not blaming me so since that i was learn hard to be a good cleric and be a good support for him.

At least with Polearm. Guarnob there's more room for error, since Curse is cake compared to Armor Break. b:shocked

Done it with a 4.1k HP'd BM and at that point in time in my PWI gaming, there was never a time I didn't lag; and yes, I was solo cleric. Just gotta believe in your skills folks.

Let's see, one time in BH3-3, things were going fine in the running bits. We manage to run to the room with Steelation without a single death. I jump down, the other cleric, tank, veno and one bm jump down with no problems. Our tank runs out to aggro the two Brigand- look- alikes, but before he does, the other cleric has BB throw up. The other Bm, who hadn't jumped down at that point, aggros both of Steelation's wanderers, Gaurnob and Cennequis. In the span of 3 seconds, everyone but me has wiped. Sometimes being 'awesome' is knowing when a situation is hopeless and to ride it out and resurrect afterwards.

...And people wonder why I abhor the over- use of BB, especially when players do not understand aggression and just how much hatred BB generates. All for the sake of laziness.

Gotta say though, back when I was level 6x, I was taken to my first 1-3. Hercs and phoenixes weren't implemented into the game yet; our squad was a barb, cleric (me!), 2 axe bms, one fist bm, one sword bm. We get to the last boss, Dimentora and the two axe bms and the fist bm just park next to me as I'm healing the tank the sword bm. The sword bm, being one of my friends and knows how annoyed I get with squad members not pulling their weight, starts to yell at them. 5 melee attackers and one cleric on an aoe- hitting boss; too much for the cleric they said with only 2.5k (unbuffed) HP.

Well, a lot was said but the gist was this: just because you had a bad run- in with another cleric doesn't mean they are all the same. She can handle it just fine and without BB.

Boss fell rather quickly after correct uses of certain skills and not a single death. Ahh, the good old days of slow leveling.

regardless its not worth the money to let a boss sit there and pound on you.

^I did the same with a Barb,Veno and another Cleric we killed one boss and we went after those things you dig up.It was a blast.I got dced and came back to help out again.
