    Regarding the difference between a duel and pk.

    Duel:
    -no charm tick
    -typically unsaid agreement to not use hp pots/apoths of any sort

    PK
    -pretty much anything goes


    Can't be bothered to find where this tiki person stated it, but something to the effect that, a duel trains you for pk, without the consequences of pk. Two parts to this statement: one, I believe true, the other, false. Firstly, without consequence of pk: true. Ie, you don't die, easy enough. Secondly, duel trains you for pk... and from what tiki said, that means he/she should be allowed to use apoths/pots... ie, as in pk 'anything goes'. I believe that, the logical progression from 'duel trains you for pk' to 'anything goes' is natural; but the assumption that duels are MEANT to prepare you for pk is the personal opinion of player 'tiki'. Not sure who you duel with, but everyone I run across knows of the unsaid agreement 'no hp pots'. Heck, if you want to agree to different rules, go ahead! But to use pots without telling your opponent ahead of time... you are operating under your opinion that 'duel prepares you for pk'. I would hazard a guess that your dueling partner has a different view. Or perhaps the same view. Basically, take the time to find out beforehand... agree on rules.

    Final note: about 'duel preparing you for pk'... LOL, if you want to get better at pk, just go pk. Don't mess around in duels in the first place. Speaking of 'bad habits' carried from duels to pk, how about, not having to bypass a charm? Duels and pk are very different... stop blurring the boundaries. I mean, if you want to get people mad at you, be my guest, but don't use faulty logic to justify your actions :)

    OOOOKAY....I need mp/hp pots....I have herc, samee level as me, and I need them. When you solo things you have to endure some AOE and sometimes you solo things you have to spam heal, with no chance to use spells to increase mana or hp....so, I use pots. A LOT.

    By the way DumbBunny... I just wanted to point out to you that I went out of my way to DELIBERATELY GET Saitada banned on the forums. The banning was my choice. I felt it was time to shelve the character.

    The more I think about it, the more I am inclined to log onto my account there and direct them here.

    I can imagine the amount of whining that will be generated on these forums when Goons show up and start doing what they do best. And these pubbies wouldn't have the slightest clue how to deal with 138,000 people who's sole goal is to go to a game enmass and grief people just for the laughs they get on their forums about it.

    Hell, the LAG from it would be epic all by itself.

    I've never understood the type either tbh. While I love trolling forums, I prefer to be helpful and decent in game myself (some people just ask to be treated badly in game though... I usually ignore them but now and then they get on my bad side).

    At ur lvls nix is overpowerd for a bm or a barb cause its kills them really fast, that wil change at 90 plus, when they 2 3 shoot ur nix, bad thing is if u go heavy cause if u go arcane u will be the one QQ...

    That's why I was disappointed at first when I thought Tiki was you. You're usually at least helpful when you troll.

    And in-game, bah, if someone is curious and wants to know something, I love to tell them what I know about it, and if I don't know enough, I'll point them to someone who does.

    The Nix isn't overpowered.

    You just can't kill it fast enough.

    The veno's fault? Don't think so. This stays the same at any level - it shouldn't be hard to kill a Nix because the whole issue is, you don't actually go after the Nix. Kiddies with brains know that if you kill the veno then the Nix isn't a worry. BMs can just stun the Nix and chase after the veno, barbs can do the same.

    If suddenly Nixes become easier to kill at 9x... you were doing it wrong in the first place.

    well venos have to have SOME advantage over the tanks... I mean really you go up against an arcane veno with a nix and i think its a no-brainer to go for the one controlling said nix b:surrender
