    I have nothing against getting rid of a TW day (except that the TWs on Friday and Saturday will have to be more spread out/take up a larger time all together to accommodate the Sunday TWs). Server time is the time it is where the server is hosted. PWI primarily caters to America (even look at the payment options-- new options to pay from other countries are JUST starting to be added. Or the Chinese New Year, that, IIRC, didn't even get a mention by PWI.) It's just something to live with. And if you really hate it that much-- there's other versions. Feel free to move to them if you think that this is impossible to live with.

    Also... please, curb the American-bashing. It's extreme stereotyping. Not every American is self-centered, not every American is stupid... etc. Some are. But then again, all countries have self-centered idiots. Not just the USA.

    As for 4AM TW times, hell yeah! I'd be happy to have 4AM~5AM times. Then again, I guess I'm part of the small sliver of the population that doesn't sleep in 'till noon on weekends.

    This game is International from the home company, thats all it means. It IS an American game. If this was "PW Global" you'd have a point. International doesnt mean all countries, it means "at least 1 country outside of home country". Home country being China. U.S. is International from China. The End.

    dont u know that harshlands (and one more server i think) is set in EST?
    it should let u sleep 3 hours earlier (well, if u plan to stay up, not waking up early)
    since u dont seem to be quitting, u love pwi, right?

    do u know how long it's been this way? well, u should as ur lvl tells (assuming u're not an oracle noob spending $1000+)
    u should also know that theyll never change any server to EU time lol

    i was just suggesting u the best u could do in the existing pwi.
    if u still dont like it and keep QQing, the only thing u can do is to look for other EU-based mmo.

    the tw time sucks for us Americans too. i mean 11pm aint so bad, but sometimes tw carries on for 2 or 3 hours b:shocked and i fall asleep. and what about the kids who have school in the morning?

    All I have to say about this topic...Want to TW but don't like the time zone, go the servers closer to you so you can. TW is just something for fun not a mandatory. Enjoy the game and STFU already.

    go read PWI mission statement.

    there goal is to provide service to north america. there are more than 2 countries in north america hence the international name. international=involving 2 or more nations. if you want to keep on whining they will just ip ban everyone outside of north america and you will be SOL then. read it from their own words and shut up.

    Hmm...I'm european too and in my opinion it's sad, that we cannot really take place in big TWs.

    I'm part of a big high-lvl-guild and I guess we would have a chance to win against big guilds too. Moreover it would REALLY be fun...Me for myself, I never fought in a TW because the times are really inhuman for me b:sad ..last TW was Monday morning, 5 am and most of us had to go to school or work.

    True, it's an american server etc but maybe PWI could chance times? Give us the chances to fight on 23 pm, would be enoughb:thanks

    My opinion. I would really enjoy better times for europeans. And this DOESNT mean, it have to be a bad time for americans!

    PS: The maps would be multicolored too :P

    It is true that they can't please every single player here, even if they call this Perfect World International there would be people that get put aside of some events due to the timezone... BUT ... They could make a enffort and change the TW time, like, one week European time another American time, and so on ....

    It's run by a US based company, so of course their hours are US based as well. Asking the staff to do 24/7s or to stay to work for outside the standard hours is ridiculous.

    And no, changing it periodically won't help, as that would still mean that all of the staff would have to adapt to it, which just won't happen.

    And even in Europe, there are various timezones. And yes, the European times would totally suck for the Americans, just as their times tend to suck for us.

    And for the record, I live in Europe.

    Yes i know this game is hosted in the USA but there are a LOT of players who are from other time zones.

    There is nothing wrong with players from other time zones asking if TW times can be tweeked a bit to give a larger part of the player base a chance to participate is there?

    PWE is an american business based in northern california in the USA. they are here to make money first and foremost, dont delude yourself into thinking our happiness is their top priority. because they are a USA business, their main target for their goods is naturally [dramatic pause] OMG! AMERICANS!!! also, as the poster above you said, because the game staff all resides in pacific standard timezone (GMT-8), they are naturally going to base all their stuff off of their own timezone

    imagine that, an AMERICAN company basing their game on AMERICAN timezones

    seriously, grow a brain or gtfo. alternatively, have PWE hire night staff to run things specially for you, and then pay all those staff's wages every pay period... yea, didnt think so

    Asking if they can be tweaked is not wrong in itself, just doing so without thinking is. The game is not an automatic system, it requires staff for it to function. This staff lives in the US, as the company is based there. Now, asking these workers to adjust their whole lifestyle to fit the European time or an otherwise twisted form just doesn't work.

    INTERNATIONAL means at least ONE country outside of home which is China. This is NOT Perfect World GLOBAL. Everyone needs to get it into their heads that International is NOT the entire world.

    come on this thread has turned into move to america or shut the hell up -.-

    Lets do the math here for a second before you spill out these QQ's to move TW or not:

    for math's sake lets make:
    USA player base 50%
    EU player base 35%
    others 15%

    So if they move the TW wars up for two hours earlier ( which result in 9 PM PST i believe? ) and all the sudden you got 35% more people TWing. This means moer charm usage, gold charge for coins to get pots/better gear/whatever you want

    The question at hand:

    Would the USA people mind doing the TW 2 hours earlier?
    If so i think they are short minded and might wanna check ( read kick in their ases ) the marketing analist to see what the actual numbers of their player base is to see if it would make more profit.

    Lets face one thing. Unless we will have more then 50% of the player base as EU players, they would change anything, anytime soon because the "majority" of the people enjoy the regular TW's

    Any other suggestions?

    no idea if anyone has suggested this or not but instead of changing tw times to fit the needs of anyone how about you just bid for the time slot you want after you win the bid for the land you wish to attack

    Edit: or just make it so you can bid for times while bidding for land but you could be out bid by the defending guild for the time slot
