    Excellent work, both of you! It is my belief that as a soon-to-be growing community, we should establish a "web ring" of some sort. I've taken a few rough stabs at it, to no avail. Sooner, rather than later, there is going to be a LOT more news, and thus in huge influx of new seekers. Given that, I believe that "We who now stand, braced before the storm" should organize, to best serve those who are to follow.

    Thoughts?

    Some news: Chinese closed beta starts on 25th March. Everyone who can speak Chinese and is interesting should maybe check it out (if you get so lucky as to be able to participate in it). I know I would appreciate some experience reports!

    does any know, based on previous examples, how long after their beta can we expect an english beta?

    That is hard to say at the moment. Looking at Perfect World, it seems they do want their betas/expansions close together. I do hope to hear some news about our beta when the Chinese one begins, but that is more a hope than anything. It might be that they first want to test out how things run in the Chinese beta before giving a date for our one. I would advise you to stay tuned for some news in March/April =).

    After pressing Sam Houston , and Jason Varden on the subject, the official answer is "Soon".

    File under "pure speculation": With the official Chinese website due for a "big update" on March 8th, it wouldn't be *too* far fetched to expect a NA/EU teaser site around that time. Might not happen, but I'll bet a cookie on it.

    With the recent beta issues with other games, PWE is probably taking a more cautious tack in setting up the gaming universe's population for Forsaken World, "serving no wine, before it's time".
    This is scheduled to be one of PW's "Big Ones" this year...one could almost say "Flagship".

    Impatience aside, from what we've been deciphering, it certainly seems worth the wait.

    mods... please tell the devs overseas risingson on Dreamweaver should be invited to play Forsaken World beta b:thanks

    edit: so apparently this is an open beta sign up at the moment and they send you a confirmation code as soon as you sign up!! now all we do is wait =D
