One thing that I really like about Perfect world is its customization. Do you think that project EM will have a customization like perfect world or just go with the plain old pick a face and hair like ESO and JD. Also I'd like to see a crafter or artisan class in one perfect world game, it's just a different idea then just killing countless creatures to get better in the game.

i wouldnt be too hopeful on the release of forsaken world/PEM being too soon for us b:surrender

We have to get Kung (punch!) FOO! released first xP, then, if this game is as massively amazing as people are saying, its going to take a LONG time for PWE to translate everything and get it thrown up... so maybe by christmas of 2010, right b4 2011 lol, we can expect to see it... or maybe sooner b:shocked

who knows! (unless we get our own website put up advertising the game, there is no sure way to tell)

PWB and PWE has been both working on this, so it's highly likely that as content was being developed it was being translated.

The game will have improved graphics and more details. Like, if kill a monster that monster will drop the jewellery and weapons he/she might have been wearing.

The Storyline for Forsaken World has FINALLY been revealed!

"In a galaxy far away lie the planet Grand Mundo, where every living thing is born from the god Dios. Dios enjoy leading a wandering way of life, hence he left his children, Elfo, Titan and Vida to rule Grand Mundo. After a few thousand years, the races of Drawf, Human, Giant and Elf were born. However, Dio's nemesis, Nyes, followed him to Grand Mundo, and left his own child, Mal, on the planet. Mal was eventually chased away by the forces under Dios after initiating an attack.

Sillia, a half god and most beautiful female on Grand Mundo, became romantically involved with Howard, a human. Using her powers, she turned him into the first of the new race, Vampire, in order to have eternal love with him.

Mal then started the second attack on Dios's races, but eventually defeated again and pushed back. However, the war left Grand Mundo severely damaged, including the continents of Norte and Cintura, which sunk into the ocean. Left homeless, the inhabitants moved to the western continent, Oeste.

The power of the gods soon started declining, with the races now left to fend for themselves in order to survive. However, an evil renegade group, called the Storm Army, started a new war. Though defeated by the combined strength of the other races, the new war has just begun..."

Warrior, Protector, Mage, Priest(my kind of class), Dwarfgunner(sounds like race locked), Blood Controller, and Assassin.

yes, the inside of the Grand Library.

If you look to the left of this picture you'll notice a green exclamation mark which probably indicates that that NPC has a quest for you.

If you look at this picture you see some green circles that look like Buff Circles from ESO.

And This picture intrigues me most because it look so amazing and realistic.

We also have possibility of seeing a teaser trailer and/or website, soon!

I liked the screenshots, liked the idea to include elements of other cultures but it seems like the formula is still very similar to PW and that's the problem. It's certain players PWI didn't highjack from other games aren't going to join that new game.

The professions have been revealed:

1. Social House: This profession allows one to 'persuade' a NPC to get quests not normally available to others. This class is valuable to Legions(guilds)

2. Explorer: Observes a certain Monster that can cause great damage(remember this: "When strong bosses appear, they will send a meteor showers thorough the world, burn trees, freeze the lakes or wither the grass they walk on.") and reports to the Department of Monsters. This class is valuable to Legions.

3. Businessman: Gets the best price by observing the 'market', the rate of deflation and inflation of prices.

4. Collector: Copies valuable information from scrolls and/or books by copying it.

5. Runes Division: This class is able to utilize Runes to the fullest extent of their power. Some Runes may bestow good luck, protection and punishment.

6. Botanist: Identifies herbs.

7. Astrologist: They are able to predict the future. They can also receive blessings from the God by praying.

8. Blacksmiths: blacksmiths with dwarves and giants of the most outstanding. Artisan Armor: Armor made a solid career.

9. Tamers: Can tame animals not usually available, also can domesticate boss

10. Alchemist: Produces pharmaceuticals which is able to restore health, mana, and maybe able to resurrect the dead.

Asfer, thank you for all the information! I am really looking forward to Forsaken World, so much that I registered an account. I love the features that are promised- history that changes with the players, a mix of western and eastern places, five traditional but still very interesting races, hopefully great combat...I know I'm a bit overhyped at the moment, but I really think this game could become great.

Any estimated date for closed beta? Middle or end of the year maybe?

"In the innovative 3D Soul PK System, players' weak points are likely to be exposed at anytime during a combat with their souls knocked away. The knocked-away souls will fly around and whoever absorbs the souls will be able to have his/her attacks increased by a large margin.
The Soul PK System will also serve as a vehicle for testing players' reflexes and exact controls."

So, combat will be similar to a game being developed by another company.

EDIT: CBT has already started and ended in China, but for USA I think it''ll be Late February to Early March.

Thanks, Asfer. Just fyi, there seems to be a new, previously unreleased in-game video on a Chinese YouTube kinda site. In-game flyovers, player buffs, and glimpses at PvP. That, and a video which is sorto of "the making of the CGI Movie".

That's the impression I got, as well. (judge for yourself) . In reality, though, I'm not 100% reliant of google translated pages, whereas it lacks the human interpretations of the minutae of any language. Most hilarious translate, thus far: "Is it the wet nurse of great violence?" XD

But, yesh, the overall impression was "yeah, we're so awesome, people are flying to China to learn our awesome techniques". I mean, yeah, the rotating weapons on the class preview pages are cool, and the art style is very impressive, but I don't think the website is revolutionary, though it is definitely "High end". Definitely not thrown together in half a day. As for myself, I'd be quite content with a translated copy of the site.
