This is ridiculous... grinding is becoming more and more useless now. Pretty soon the whole game is gonna be Cashshopped and the non-cashshoppers will not make jack. Now mats are not gonna be worth anything.

Honestly crafting has been really annoying and complicated... people spent millions for the items required to get the higher skill books.
Grinding is still the only way to "create" coin, besides limit Best Tokens, so it is far from obsolete.
Is this a blow to people who worked hard for it? Yes. Perhaps it will be more expensive then we expect however. I imagine they'll charge $25+ for the higher ranked skills.

Thing is, leveling manufacturing skills was never particularly difficult in the first place. Time consuming and based on luck? Yes, but not really hard.

Problem is that there are enough lazy people who play this game that PW will make a tidy profit from selling manufacturing skills in the boutique.

It was hard work and people of PW are no longer used to hard work except the older generation of players. You said yourself why it is here, i just highlighted key points lol.

    Huh?

Anyways, buying these skills is simply for convenience, I don't think its a game-shattering issue. Besides, this means that the material and herb market will bloom. With more people with these skills, people will want more stuff to make them. Being some of these items consumables, there's going to be a higher demand for these things. Maybe TT and other gears will be more accessible to others since they don't have to hunt to get someone to make them.

And now faith, hope, and charity remain; but the greatest of these is charity.

I only play after I'm done everything I need to do for the day. Sometimes that means I don't get to log on for a few days but oh well, real life comes first for me. I do check the forums every now and then during the day though.

apoth past 6 doesnt use herbs, and 6 needs specific territories and was joke easy to get anyway...

not that getting lvl 7/8 was too hard before, but now, seriously?

In my opinion, I do enough hard work in real life lol, I am not gonna go into a moral discussion over game labor... I don't really mind that that they now sell the manufacturing skills in the cash shop. They are catering to the players who appreciate instant gratfication, and most do. If you still wanna work hard in-game and get your skills that way you can. People need to stop whining every time PWI releases stuff in the boutique... I'm just gettin tired of this ****.

Either way, its just dumb. Its not like it was hard to lvl up. I see it cheaper just selling gold and buying mats in catshops.b:shutup

Currently i have lvl 6 for blacksmith, so the manu skill boxes for 30 gold can get my blacksmith to lvl 8 max.

Even though if your blacksmith is only at lvl 1, spent 30 gold and u have maxed lvl 8 skill.

So the effort that i put in to lvl 6 is therefore consider (flushed to the serwer).

Anyway my question, anyone with lvl 5-6 manufacturing skill will spent 30 gold for lvl 8 or just continue lvling by harvesting for more mats.

Pwi shold have a discount for players that have lvl 5 skill and above.

I don't think this will benefit the game in the long run. It's far from game breaking or even important but it's a factor. C'est la vie...

yeah thats going to be a pain. 98% of my profits are from selling mats.

but at the same time your still ganna need mats to make the items themselves, so it may or may not have a big effect, long term anyhow.

Non sense grinding is not becoming more and more useless, people are. Not to worry, when they start getting up in levels and realize that they do not have funds to spend on spirit among other things they will have no choice but to grind or get off game.

It doesn't effect me whatsoever, meaning, I have no regrets getting my skills up to level 7 without a cash shop item.
Plus, 30 bucks? You'd be better off selling the 30 gold and buying the mats as you find them for sale.

Except most of the stuff people want high-end manu skills for are molds or TT gear... neither of which really need much in terms of grinding to gain.

You are correct manaufacturers will need mats to complete their projects. But duh here is a news flash those same mats you sell they can farm and make them their selves. Therefore, they do not need to buy mats from you, but i will not tell. Yeah right! b:chuckle
