EVENT: Monster Siege!

This event will occur on Friday, February 26th at 11AM Pacific (2PM Eastern) on Raging Tide server, and at 3PM Pacific on Heaven's Tear server.


*Raging Tide and Heaven's Tear servers only!*



Monsters are assembling in three locations in the world, and our warriors must strike quickly before their forces become too powerful. The assembling monsters will be situated in different areas depending on their strength, and we will need corresponding-strength players to attack at these locations:



On Raging Tide:


Rally Point LOW: Players below level 40.

Rally Point MID: Players level 40-70.

Rally Point HIGH: Players above level 70.



On Heaven's Tear:


Rally Point LOW: Players below level 50.

Rally Point MID: Players level 51-80.

Rally Point HIGH: Players above level 80.




At the specified time of the event, there will be a GM World Broadcast stating the coordinates of each of these rally points.

Those who take part in the event should travel to the corresponding location for their level--failure to heed this warning will severely reduce your chances of either survival or of attaining good drops and EXP.

Please note that a character's death will still incur the standard percentage loss of experience.

    Sounds good and should be alot of fun. Im in high level range b:victory.

    EDITx2: Those mobs in the banner look like ones from FF lol.

    Looking good with more areas to play. However, I wonder how "Failure to heed this warning will severely reduce your chances of survival"...?

    I see you also learned from the exp QQ too...by adding a disclaimer.

    Maybe you guys should make it so that anyone more than 5-10 levels above the max level for each area gets no exp, sp, and drops (if not in this even then in the next one like it).

    Nothing more annoying than having high levels one shot all the mobs for easy kills even though they have little chance for decent drops (if the mobs drop anything for this event that is).

    I'm not on either server, but I can't wait to see if these events go better than the last ones did. =) I'm glad to see PWI trying harder to make things work better.

    What it means is:

    If your level is too high, you won't get good drops or EXP.

    If your level is too low, you likely won't survive...

    Wow do people just come on here to complain? Wrong wrong wrong anyway.

    Don't make this too easy, its a lot funner to be challenged and fail/win than to have the monsters and bosses be a yawn or a walk over.

    God, I hope this'll be better than that old Attack on Archosaur event was, but it sounds like the same thing again. Attack on Archosaur the GMs threw in a bunch of Tier 2 TW gate bosses because nothing else was really killing people. Hopefully the area will be much larger this time at least for the 80+ on HT.

    11am (12hr base) = 11:00 (24hr base)??
    and 11am pst = 7 pm gmt+1??

    in other words 11am pst is 19:00 in the Netherlands?

    Sounds like it will be the same lagfest with very little drops and probably not worth going to. I won't be there.

    hey frankie is this like the arch on i loved it till ya spawned those evolved serpentrex at notrth then we had a mass corpse pile nothing could clear use till mass aoe spells murdered every1 lol might be fun to do that again hehe jus wonderin also frank if the event is only at 3 pm or is there one at 11 to because it states it like theres possibly one at both as to how its written not sure thx in advance ^^b:victory been missin ya btw since u had left all that time back so hi hi didnt get to wb ya so now i amb:byeb:pleased

    Do not make me puke. You are so slow more like bart simpson could do a better job than you. I have witnessed levels 70-90 go into the Gate and get dead and the clerics give me a break they cannot even keep a level 20 barb alive glad they are not real doctors. Clerics just keep applying everything to strenght and dex you will soon be out of a job and off the server and anyone who do use you just feel sorry for your lack of skill and as we say on lost easy kill. b:kiss

    To see all the high levels get their buts kicked by not only enemies but pkers as well that was priceless. Wait i have to call hallmark this need to be put in the hall of fame, nah a nice card will do. b:laugh
