my guide to making a heavy armored cleric.

1)characteristics of a heavy + melee cleric
-u use axes, fists, swords n poles
-u wear heavy armors
-ur a ninja

2)benefits of a heavy + melee cleric
-spamming plumeshot is tiring, atking using melees arent
-cheaper to manage since u don use alot of MP
-ur a BM with better survivability, kuz u can heal better
-good for grinding, u have good defence against phy mobs
-u don have to kite mobs, just kill em
-ur a tank+healer, muahahaa

3)how to allocate yor points
-at least 2.5 str per lvl to wear yor heavy armors
-minimum dex for the weap u wanna use
-allocate yor pts to vits kuz ur hp is low
-nothing to mag

    I tried making a heavy spear cleric, and it failed horribly when I realised I couldn't heal myself very effectively QQ

    I know heavy clerics, and even they need some Magic. To say put nothing into Magic = fail.

    Same concept as a Heavy Veno build....b:surrender

    will i be able to kill mobs effectively at higher lvls so that, the time it takes to kill a mob and manage repairs, not excluding the use or lack of charms and apothecary, does not exceed the overall profit i get in the grinding session? :D

    Actually, with no mag and no mag weapon, Diamond Sutra would heal approximately 1384 more HP at level 10 than a maxed Ironheart of the same level assuming you had 5500 HP. What should I do to make up for this difference?

    magic classes may wear heavy armoury but having a magic weapon is a must.

    But the person posted that she "use axes, fists, swords n poles" Also to be able to heal your self you are required to use a Magical instrument or be unarmed.

    Yeah back when i was lvl 5 i put on a pair of claws and thought that was the coolest thing ever cuz i looked like wolverine. Then i when to healself and failed... had to take them off... So i dont see how can you do use axes, fist, swords, n poles without losing your magical power. The only way this could work is with a magic sword.

    But when your health is 2500 and you are only healing 150 well.. that sucks especially if you are getting your **** kicked! b:laugh

    In very early levels this may be viable, but clerics stop being mob bait after a while.

    At end game ur going to stick with arcane being a heavy cleric using non magical weapon is just pain dumb

    I have known some HA Clerics close to end game and they switched between Axes and a Magic HH Sword (not to their level of course), but there heals were definitely lacking...however even IF going for this build you MUST add Magic.

    If not, even healing yourself would be pointless.

    What spells are you suppose to use in the concept as you can't use any with a melee weapon?

    Only thing you could use would be normal melee attack.

    I agree that its possible to do it if u put points into magic but ur not going to be hitting as hard as any of the other classes and what im trying to say that the build that this person says is just using "axes, fists, swords n poles"

    I dont really see how this benefits a cleric. Its more of a veno thing. Heavy amour just gimps the hell out of your skills. Clerics dont get the massive p.def/accuracy boost that venos get from fox form and melee mastery. I just dont see how using axes is good for any caster class.

    A build with heavy armor can be made to work effectively. Using a melee weapon as well is just silly though! -___-

    How cna i ewen begin to tell you how you fail in this build....

    1. "spaming plum shot is tiring" ewer heard fo wield thunder and cyclone be4?
    2. "your a better BM" 2 comments on this---> BMs ahve a heal, you dotn use any skills so ur useless
    3."you dont use a lot of mp" and it aint goan matter if u have a **** load of mp if u dotn ahve the heals to back it up
    4. u cant cast magic with melee weapons
    5. be 9x be4 u ewen try this...

    to all the new ppl to the game dont be a heavy cleric it fails....


    why the hell do ppl do threads like this.....and by a 2x? -_-

    i guess i am having a very senior moment here, but, what is the point of this build? with no mag, it sounds about as useful as a barb in full arcane. how are you a cleric, if you have no magic, and use BM weapons? sounds like a BM with feathers on your head.....and how do you fly? stuck with the eagle wings?

    u wont be able to kill mobs fast kuz phy weapons r weaker than magics. but its less tedious compare to a normal cleric kuz u don have to spam plume shot while waiting for its cool down.

    repairs will be a lil expensive kuz r ditching out pain with a mob but u don use a lot of mp, so ur actually paying less cost than a normal cleric that spam MPs. mp pots r expensive u kno XD

    grinding is easy, click on a mob 2 times n watch yor char wail on it. b:victory
