I am really confused about what to choose because both sides are like "Sage/Demon rules because of this and that while the other side is just sooo bad". I don't believe that. I think they are rather even. But still it's really hard to figure out what to become when each side exaggerate ones strengths and the supposed weaknesses of the other path.

Just calm down and try to state advantages/disadvantages of both sides without always telling people how much better your decision is...

The chi advantage of sage isn't that big of a difference but still can help to get off another ulti when needed. Most awesome thing is sage bids.

Demon hits mostly a bit harder, faster and got more useful additions on skills. So it's obviously a better choice for single targets.


I myself changed my decision 3 times already and will probably some more times until I hit 89 b:laugh

Demon spark and demon fairy are cool looking and demon spark has a nice effect. If you can get a lot of -chan (like -40%+) you can stack that with demon spark/wellspring quaff to drop your targets before they know what just hit them. The -chan on the demon skills are great with a lot of -chan and using demon spark/wellspring quaff. The ults are enough reason alone to go sage. You can do some insane damage. In 4 seconds, a sage wizard can do 10k+ damage to a HA/LA target without trying. pyrogram and master li's technique is great for getting chi without the hassle. Both give you half a spark (pyrogram gives a little less. If i remember correctly, 45). Stone rain is like using sandstorm with the time of pyrogram (thats pretty OP). DB stun in TW is AMAZING! Before you say FoW aoe is bad, there was a time in TW where enemy wizards were zhenning one of our towers. We had to get 4 wizards to FoW them but a sage wizard could've silenced all of them, then drop a BT to send them back to HQ. The DP/GS debuffs would work wonders in sutra combos. Doing something like: 399 chi > sutra > DP > Pyro > BT > DP would effortlessly drop robes/LA. 399 chi > sutra > GS > gush > BIDS > gush/hailstorm would do the same to HA. A sage wizard can easily chain ults together (with a little help from spark pots) in sutra combos. 399 chi > sutra > pyro > MS > double spark pot > BIDS/BT. Depending if you have the sage version of MS and BT, you can possibly do all three with ZERO channeling with a little luck (sadly, i only could get two). The downfall to sage is that you need chi to kill things without effort. Im not saying you cant kill things without chi, its just harder to do it than if you had chi. One thing sage shines at is spike damage. Naturally, sage wizards have a high crit rate since most realize that it is their strong point.

There i argued for both sides. Sorry i didnt have much for demon. I just had to go off what i heard prof say (BTW, prof is really good at stating his points. Im actually reconsidering demon if i can get a decent -chan) since i never played a demon wizard and i doubt one of my guildmates would let me play theirs after i made them look like idiots for choosing demonb:sad

You keep hearing the same arguments because, thats the argument. You dont go, I support free gold for this reason and then change the reason later.
Many sage wizards offer their perspective kindly and thanks to Haiz, there are a lot of videos. Most of the forum is going sage because people can see and listen from people who actually have the cultivation how good it is. prof offers good arguments, but no one seen a decent demon wiz in action. The only videos are the losstarot guy (terrible) and Vezz (terrible). I think if we people were able to see a demon wiz in action it would be a nicer balance but until then, get used to being one of the four demon wizards in the forum.
Not saying demon is bad, but i prefer sage (even after reconsidering it).

mum may not speak dutch, but i bet that あなたは本語を話しません。This is an international game and everyone may not speak english well. So be the better person, and try not to bring the language barrier into this. Same goes for you mum.

Some people will fight for what they believe in. When this happens, just say gg and let it go. You offer many valid points and that offends people. I know this personally. Good Luck on getting to sage, you are almost there and i hope you enjoy it.
