First of all, I am so glad I quit this money hungry steaming pile of **** game. I like the game, don't get me wrong, but the way it is run, the constant events, all this **** ruins everything for the people who don't have thousands of dollars to put down for this. Bad move GMs, you didn't even wait an entire month to put these packs back into the game...
I will not hesitate to beat you over the head with your own stupidity.

    Yes I am a hypocrite.

Xarfox and all the GMs, you guys really need to tell the boss over there to fire the marketing team if there's one.

Serious businesses go for projected and long term constant growth and not spikes. The marketing team if there's one, should have asked themselves this - what will bringing back the anniversary packs accomplish? If they're really that good and in tune with gamers, they should have known this would be causing a major dissatisfaction and probable exodus of PW players.

How many players can really afford to buy 1000 of those packs?
How many players can afford to buy 1000 of those packs and do not want to because they look at this game as a form of relaxation and not to throw hard earned money into?
How many players can afford to buy 100-200 of those packs?

If PW really had a competent marketing team, they would have done a demography and psych evaluation based on the profile of the players who were and are still charging Zen. I can tell you outright the players who can afford to spend between USD50-USD200 a month are in the majority.

Implementing this anniversary pack again, PW is going to drive out a percentage of this majority who are going to be contributing constantly in the long term (when they level up and get new gears and refine those gears). That is assuming PW address and fix the bugs which will contribute to better gameplay resulting in happier and satisfied players.

Ask your marketing team if there is one, what will happen when those top cash shoppers have got what they wanted from the anniversary packs and the average and non cash shoppers have left the game due to the exasperation of seeing their hard work go to waste?

Your top cash shoppers will be following that I can assure you because they won't have anyone left to fight with except for the other top cash shoppers.
It gets boring fighting the same players over and over and over and over and you get what I mean.

Oh but we'll have newer players coming in you're going to tell me. WRONG! Those new players try the game for maybe a week or two and they're going to see that the servers are empty. Newer players who can turn out to be top cash shoppers will never have the chance to get anything from the anniversary packs unless PW implements them again. If PW doesn't implement those packs again, they're going to leave and look for another game where they can use their big fat wallets. This is going to be where it starts getting worse. PW will have to start selling end-game items or things that will help getting the end-game items easier to retain these new players with big fat wallets. At the end of the day, everything is on sale in the cash shop.

Sorry for the long post. I'm still studying and I admit I do charge Zen. I can afford to indulge in a game that provides me with entertainment during my free time. I'm not going to indulge in a game that's going to provide me with more stress and exasperation. I have my studies to help me with that already.

At what point does an anniversary end? I thought it was pretty excessive when it lasted for a month, but now after a break it's going again?

Hell, can we have snowmen in Arch year-round?

Well, I was recently thinking about this and tbh there is no way that the re-addiction.. I'm sorry, addition, of the anniversary packs is out of any celebration or due to player base desire.

First of all, this could not possibly be due to any kind of celebration by the PWI staff because the anniversary IS OVER. Seriously guys.... this is like celebrating your birthday for 2 months straight.

Second of all... as for the player base desire, just look at the poll, and the last month's version of this topic, and better yet, this month's version.

Why not, you know, try a relative event. Maybe Halloween?
It's too bad but "free to play, pay to win"-sckye

These "updates" are seeming more and more like downgrades.

GM's - You've heard us last month. And here you are appeasing us by letting us vent this month. That's your job I suppose.

But personally I don't like problems to persist. I like them fixed. I don't want to be appeased.

Please tell the people who arrange these sales that this was a mistake. It doesn't even have any relevance to the birthday of PWI. At the very least you could have renamed it in a attempt to disguise this as something other then what it actually is; a way to get money(which I know you need) for developing the new expansion on the way.

If you need to get more cash to help development and pay your employees. A Halloween package modified would have been a better idea then this.

Or put on sale items people need to improve their gear. I.E. Wind Widgets, Socket Stones, Dragon Orbs.

Or put on sale other boutique items people love. Look at your movement reports on boutique items. See what people are buying. Put a sale out on those items. There is so much you can do to bring in money to run the company. 25% off mounts/flying mounts. Sell real life PWI shirts, shorts. Pajamas, etc...make a thread about it. See if people are interested. Find your market.. Sigh...there is just so much you could do

The cost of a hammer is no longer even relevant to the game economic dynamics. Why buy the hammer to open a chest when you get take that 5 gold and get 2 million coin. You can then buy whatever you want. The cost of the hammer in the boutique needs to be modified now in order to stay a part of your program to bring in money.

I am greatly saddened by the reintroduction of this sale. I really hope that you actually pay attention to your player base this time around. I ask only because its plainly obvious that we were ignored last month. How much longer do you think this can go on.

    To GM:

I do understand that, you're trying to fix the things. Trying to fix the game, make it better, easier to play for the average player, etc etc.
But for now, you just appears as forums mods closing badbad thread, and compiling complaint for. Nothing.
Don't misunderstand me, it's not what i first thought. I'm more than willing to believe you're listening to us. Etc. But then, if the Dev's-marketing team does NOT listen to you, I'm sorry but your job is useless except by keeping a minimum of order in the forum. Which is not what the base of players are expecting from a game.

If Dev's-M.Team was listening to you, I would have hoped there wouldn't be Anni.Packs in catshop, or some bug fixed. But, with all the complaint you had, with all the feedback. Negative mostly. It's still here. Because, Dev-M.Team aren't listening to you, the voice of player.

LOL, just 3/4 of the GMs fired because PW realized that they either aren't doing their job, or there is not need for their job.

The thing im confused about is the fact that the advertisement mentions "back due to popular demand", but i would be surprised if anyone (doesnt include mega cash shoppers) actually wants this back.

    Make a poll please

So we get another month where the rich get richer and the poor even poorer?

When they were first introduced I was fine with it, thought keeping them out for a month was a little excessive, but was fine with it. Because I knew they would soon be removed and things would slowly get back to "normal". And now they are back after two weeks. Did a whole year just pass in those two weeks that they need to be brought back? If PWI is going to redistribute the anniversary packs just after two weeks of them being removed they might as well just put them in the CS permanently but under a different name.
