We are already aware of this issue and we'll try to have it fixed in a future maintenance. The reason why this is occurring is actually quite amusing, but I can't get into that.
Props to the people who are putting up guides to go through the room without the help of sound.
But unfortunately not the NEXT maintenance even though it seems you know the cause ... guess in the rush to bring back anniversary packs it slipped youir minds b:angry0 -
So its been about a month now and somehow it seems worse. Now the mobs even aggro as soon as you step away from the npc. You want to take our money, but not fix a bug that is really bugging the hell out of some people, wow that is just really messed up. Saying that you only have limited GM's on at any time also is really messed up, considering at least with Harshlands a GM is considered to be a MYTH. Except for when it comes for somebody asking on WC these exact words "Hey GMS Cube isnt fixed but Anny packs are back, Care about Players?", then that person gets banned...I was speaking with this person on Ventrilo at the time of them getting banned.
Do you all test anything before you add it to the game, or is it all just a "Lets cross our fingers and see if it works" attitude? Tellin ya, your losing more players because of your inability to fix things and blowing the players off then it is because of new content. Here is a suggestion for you, TRY FIXING THE EXISTING CONTENT YOU HAVE. I am sure if you do that, you will be able to have people keep giving you money.0 -

Don't make me lock this thread because you may not want to type in a civil manner, I think our community deserves a place to continue talking about this issue.

Have you considered a simple solution?
Have a GM go to the room, turn on invulnerability, and AFK in the middle of the mobs.
The mobs will aggro on the GM and allow players to pass through without wasting ironguards. It doesn't require any effort on the part of the GM and they can even make a catshop titled "This Way".[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

You may be testing them, but the problem is that the patches are released anyway, no matter what bugs are in them....

I think i saw someone die in the exploding hands room yesterday. That room is also bugged. The circle and hand positions are all scrambled and clumped.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]lagunal8.deviantart.com

This happened on Lost City a couple weeks ago. I'm pretty sure that it's due to some class with a knockback move playing around with the hands.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

There seems to be a problem with these forums... I remember reading a few posts that hit on a couple topics that I also have problems with. Recently I've become addicted to the cube, and it is one of the few ways I get exp from the game. Ive spent many dollars to get enough coins to pay for the items needed for the cube every day and find myself losing the want to cash shop let alone play the game. If these problems can not be resolved I do not see a point in cash shopping for the cube any longer.
"Soon" has many definitions...

So what do you mean by soon? Within a short period of time or in the near future? To tell the truth (oh wait… truth is another one of thoes funny words here…), soon in pwi lingo usually means a few months. Seeing as there are still problems maybe posts shouldn't have been removed from this thread. Especially since they hit on one of the major problems this game has been seeing recently and that is the unpromptness of things getting done.

Ok I will try to be good this time while posting this.
Sorry for the accusations on whether or not material is tested. I however feel that it is not properly tested nor addressed when it is found that there is indeed a problem.
At the start of this thread it was said that the problem would be fixed soon and here it is 20 days later after that was originally said and the problem has yet to be resolved.
But there has been no official word or even warning to anybody who does do the cube that there is a bug in any particular room. Somebody had said using the report bug page for compensation. However it was later said that that would be an abuse of the bug report.
So I do ask this, how are we the players compensated? Are we supposed to avoid the cube now until this problem is resolved? I do remember a time when the cube was bugged for about 2months and during this time it was impossible to complete.
Not trying to argue or start trouble, but our questions are not being answered as to when this problem might be resolved. I have been playing Perfect World since PW MY and when you asked these kind of questions you would get a fairly timely response. Just it seems like this is a problem and I am not understand why.0 -

This is what pwi has become.. I dunno what to tell you other than complain and hope for the best. I submitted a ticket over a month ago and was completely ignored. I can only hope this is temporary b/c devs are busy with the new expansion. if we are lucky theyll take a break from new content and fix all of their mistakes for a few weeks.. I am just complaining about one room that has ended up costing a few of us a lot of money. Not sayin how there have been times I have done the cube gotten Mystical Messenger and killed all 5 mobs but only credit for 1 kill. That happens, I guess.
Just would be nice that when you say "hey this doesnt work" instead of being told you could get banned or a run around, something actually gets done0 -

i've hit room 27 lots of times since this room became glitched ....and every time i have made it safely threw by going across the mobs second to the left i say u should try that first if u hit that room and hopfully they can find a fix for it soon0

That is most likely due to something dealing with ranged attacks, either from attacking before the quest recognizes it, or simply not recognizing some kills. I know my cleric had that problem often, but my BM always gets credit for all their kills. Since cleric was always positioned to kill right after dialogue box disappears, that could be an issue. Or it may require physical damage to finish it, with elemental skills being ignored. *shrug* not sure, but that issue has been around since early October 2008.
The no noise bug has also happened before, think it was resolved pretty quickly though. So likely it is the expansion preventing them from addressing this right away. But it's been fixed before, likely will again. For now, use holy path/other speed buff, have immunity to freeze, and use the lvl 45 apoth pot that makes you immune to damage for 8 secs. If people are losing real cash, and haven't even thought of doing this, then they've missed alot of the game.Fist are the worst at PvP AND PvE, if you disagree, as I said, take it to PM's or make your own guide. Telarith if the problem is solved so easily then it should have been fixed how many patches ago? Also I do not have a genie for Holy Path and to go and make a special genie and level it up just with the sole purpose of doing the cube is kinda bs. I should not have to make a special genie just so I can complete the cube due to a bug. It defeats the purpose of the cube having to be fixed.0

27 is bugged can't hear any sound try your luck on route 2-2 4-4 or 5-4... as for chips mobs don't use cyclone at all is bugged and make mobs not count...soooooooooooooo pls fix room 27 sound **** thigny or make a gm available to pass that bugged room couse he can b:angry0

What about placing an npc in the room that teleports you to the other side temporarily? I know that removes the point of the room, but it seems a better solution than to expect people to run through it in its broken form.0

I thought that it would be an easy fix since you already know whats wrong with it. I mean its so funny that this is happening. Hate to fail the cube off of one room and now I have to go and just avoid the cube like its the plague because it doesnt get fixed. I mean there is nothing you can do temporarily? Hell if you want to make it cost us one dice ticket to leave the room, I am up for that to. At least then I do not lose all the other dice tickets I would have to spend on it just because the mobs are broken. We can't get any kind of compensation nor any kind of help as to fixing the problem. So we just avoid the cube till it is fixed in a future maintenance?0

Here's a question, do GM's have any permakill type tool that can kill a mob and prevent it from respawning incase of a bug? I know that's a standard cs tool for lots of games. If so, what about just killing the guys in room 27 so players can run through?0
