You got lucky. That's what gambling is. Some people get lucky, most do not. Just because you got lucky doesn't mean everyone else should have gambled like you did.

No one has yet explained how they made these countless millions reselling and unless you describe in detail what you did, then I say you are talking bs.

We have described exactly what we did. That you choose not to believe us hardly refutes our testimonials. Heck, the poster just above me did exactly what we're saying we did.

Also you must take into account just how much these rare items will cost in 1-2 months time.

See, that's the error in thinking that I'm trying to point out. You are thinking of your gains in terms of buy price vs. sell price, totally ignoring the time involved. That's the wrong way to think of it. You have to think of it in terms of time - how much you have now vs. how much you'll have then. A one-time gain of 400% in 2 months time will pale next to a 5% gain every day compounded for those same 2 months (works out to 1868% gain).

When you sit on an investment, passing up other opportunities which become available, your money is not working. You are actually losing money due to a missed opportunity cost. To take advantage of compounding, you have to remain liquid, so you can jump on opportunities as they become available.

Also, many of the rare prizes from the event bind upon use. If you plan to resell it, you can't use it. So its only value is in the resale. Until you resell it, it's actually a liability since it's taking up space in your bank.

No. I have my principles. It is not my place to reveal in public details which people told me in private. Frankly I don't care if you don't believe me. I'm just trying to warn others away from your bad, bad advice. I've made a substantial number of posts in these forums, most of which I hope others have found useful. I think my record speaks for itself, and don't feel any particular need to defend my credibility from a random ad hominem attack.

Oh and about the shards, I think everyone noticed that, but as you say the sales were slow, too slow for most. I think you severely exagerate your gains.

Hardly. From what I saw the citrine market was heavily saturated. The garnet market less so (garnets were often selling for more than citrines). And the sapphire market was nearly untouched. A lot of times I saw flawless sapphires selling for as much or only a few 10k less than garnets or citrines.

Sales of the sapphires were slow because I found a location where the prevailing prices were higher and was making a nearly 100% markup on them. Because I was collecting tokens to get the sage skill pack, I didn't have a lot of working capital. So I had to concentrate on fewer, slower sales with larger margin.

And no I won't tell you where. The location worked well for me during the Jolly Jones event as well. I'd be a fool to reveal it.

That is all I got tokens and don't know what to get with them.

Nearly 300 packs and only 1 of them wasn't a token a of luck.

I play may be 2 weeks only. And I had not spent even 1$ during this time.

All that I got (except awards for quests and reputation - above 440 now, gems for my armor and weapon) - about 2,000,000 coins.

May be soon I can buy Yofials Star or later Nakirs Judgement.

I learn something about genies too (I have 3 of them now).

I knew the odds would be insanely stacked against me, so I didn't do anything dumb, and I only bought about 20 packs, with the sole intention of turning in the tokens of luck for cupboard slots and telecoustics.

I don't feel ripped off at all.
