The flesh ream skill can tik for 2000k damage on robes, and that's ONE tik, from the bird, ignoring its melee damage and the WF casting spells. Technically speaking, it doesn't have PvP damage reduction.As only the child that I was, I tread with giants.

Ive spent over 60mil on my current gear (weapon not included) and I get 2 or 3 shot by level 75 and up venos......I could have bought 3 pheonixes for the price of the gear I have now and still I get owned by someone 15 levels below me in 3 shots. Thats R E D I C U L O U S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone have a good reason to even play this game anymore? Stop with the new/eventy type cash shop items and actually make this game playable for EVERY class.....btw the 30 mil i spent doesnt even count for the +4 on all of it with 3 sockets in all and flawless gems in all......so yeah stop using the fact you "spent all this money in cash shop" when people actually spend alot more than you on gear and all you gotta do is spend 250 and ur gtg to own people 15+ levels higher than you. Also would like to add I have spent over 600 dollars this past month and it would be nice to see SOMETHING changed soon cause I am not entertained by the 34512345123451324513 venos on our server with pheonixes talking trash when it takes no skill to auto attack with flesh ream. Kinda long but I think some of you venos need to realize OTHER people cash shop just as much....if not more just to counter that ONE cash shop item you all ARE FORTUNATE enough to be able to purchase. Trust me if I could get an item that gives me an edge like you all have then I would have it. Fact is I love my mage and its the fact there isnt alot of us on our server that makes me love it that much more. So no one respond to this reply with the old "why dont you make a veno" because in my opinion there is 5 other classes in this game for a reason and if we where all venos how long would this game last really? I will tell you it is starting to look a little rediculous the amount of pheonixes on lost city server and something NEEDS to happen soon before this game fizzles into nothingness and the people who are actually spending money EACH week NOT JUST ONCE FOR THE PHEONIX....leave the game and get our entertainment from elsewhere!0 -

If PvP is the only reason you play MMOs, then there's probably not a good reason for you. But not everyone is into PvP so the phoenix bug wouldn't even matter to those in PvE. Besides, I assume if a veno teaches flesh ream to another pet such as a golem (which I happen to have on mine), then max that skill out, it would most likely do the same damage or close to it. I could be wrong about that so I'm not sure. May not be a "phoenix only" issue after all.0 -

3400ish hp unbuffed with +4 level 90 gear and flawless gems...sounds like you're pure int.
You have to realize that pure int is a glass cannon build. If you hit a 75 veno first they'll die. If you don't kill them right away, you're done.
Edit: your pdef with self-buff doesn't matter, a veno should debuff that off you before they bleed you anyways.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Did you just type stuff and not read it before pressing reply? I mean look what you just said....its OK for a veno 15 levels below me to basically one shot me with a pheonix but I cannot EVEN AS A PURE INT mage kill them in one shot. Do you even realize how absurd that sounds. I mean step back from the game a while like I have been the last 2.5 months (deployed to Kuwait) and actually look how this game has progressed. Its foul to say the least even after I hit level 90 I thought I would be able to fend of some venos close to my level. I feel like everytime I leave safe zone its just to entertain the foxes who have nix and nothing else.0 -

I agree that the venos who get flesh ream on a phoenix are doing it to take advantage of the glitch and when/if the glitch gets fixed, they will be out a whole bunch of $..
but the problem isn't with the nix.. it's with flesh ream.. which is a skill the nix doesn't come with.. a kowlin comes with lvl 4 flesh ream.. and people don't complain about it.. yet technically it has the same glitch.. it's not that venos are "overpowered" it's that there are glitches which can be used to exploit the system and kill people faster.. once the glitch is fixed (if ever, since the glitch existed on the MY version 2+ years ago already).. I wonder how many PVPers will stop complaining.. and how many others will find other reasons to say certain classes are overpowered.
while the flesh ream glitch IS a valid argument.. we all know that some people (not saying you personally) complain for the sake of complaining.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
We could all learn a lot from crayons, some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names (like chartreuse), and all are different colors....BUT they ALL exist very nicely in the same box!0 -

A 7x phoenix won't be doing the 2k bleed damage that you get from 9x phoenixes. Their patk is much lower, and they have a lower level flesh ream skill.
Yes, this game took a weird turn with all the nixes in the last 2.5 months. I suggest talking to other mages and seeing how they dealt with it. From my perspective, it seems like there's less reason to go pure int mage, and to stack some vit with pdef shards in your robe instead.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

I'm in a guild called Avengers and we have high levels getting beat by venos left and right with those stupid overpowered pets it's sickening that an honest guild that came in a TW and fought their hearts out for two hours ends up getting beat by cash shopping losers! It
yeah this game relys on cash shop people. im not a cash shop person my self but hey i know that game officials get paid and its there job. people who have oheonix and hercules usually dont pay real money. trust me i have lots of venoms that actually bught gold and payed about 20 mil for there pet. i kinda agree that players who pay mroe then 100 dallors in the game is an absolute freak! no exeptions! unless they bought many things but still its not worth it play a little more to get cash then buy it gold for 100 grand each."When life gives you arrows give them back ", Divine_Demon b:sin0 -
That's ridiculous. I haven't spent any money in the cash shop, but it's a perfectly reasonable thing to do. It basically comes down to how much time you have, and how much money. Basically, if someone has a job with high pay and long hours, it makes sense to trade money (which they have plenty of) to save time (which they have little of, and is worth more to them).
If you're in high school or something, you have basically unlimited time, but pretty much no money. So sure, go grind for four hours a day to pay for the items you want. It's totally reasonable to trade your time (which you have a lot of, and which isn't worth much) for "money".0 -

Ok so say a sawfly then. A level 90 fly with ripping bite is going to do pretty good damage to you (probably 1500 ticks rather than 2000), and its only 1 m/s slower than the nix. If you'd like to see for yourself look up Azura, level 88 veno in rq with a bee. I'm sure he'd tear you apart plenty fast without a nix.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
-_-; my archer is wearing refined legendary armour, he has 5 K hp buffed... he gets killed by phoenix in about 4-5 shots in the tw and that s considering the fact that i am using hp charm and pots... and ofcourse as soon as i am getting unstunned i am using my shell and RUN RUN RUN away from the damn bird... Veno is standing far away from my reach in the mean while... Why not using stun? well my stun needs time to recover and normally it s not fully recharged when I am being attacked XD...when my archer was lvl 60 something i was duelled by a lvl 40 something veno with phoenix... well I got basically 2 hit - I accepted the duel cause she wanted to test her pet and asked me, that was the first phoenix I ever saw in PvP mode XD I duelled the venoes with Kowlin of the same lvl - Kowlin looked to me a lot weaker than the birdie b:bye0

The GM's have never stated this is a bug, nor have they ever warned people using this (unlike glitching Gouf, which IS a bug) that what they are doing is wrong. To make such a statement is ignorant. Sometimes Zoe, you have good arguments and statements, but sometimes you need to engage your grey matter before speaking, because you make a fool of yourself otherwise. But then again, most people are like that as well so I guess that is par for the course.

*edit* and btw Zoe, I never got the Nix to abuse a bug. Prior to me getting the Nix, I didn't even KNOW there was a bug in Flesh Ream. So making such a blanket statement is another example of stupidity. Now, if they will just fix the damn skill.0 -

They throw out "big money" for a pet that has insanely high attack power. They spend much much less to put Flesh Ream on the phoenix because Flesh Ream has always been known to do a lot of damage in PvP, and the Phoenix is, hands down, the best PvP pet there is because of it's high Attack and movement speed. Then any veno that uses a Wolf or any other pet that has Flesh Ream as a default skill in PvP would be banned.

As I've said before, my phoenix has bash, not flesh ream. It never had the skill, it never will have the skill.
A skill that does not follow the same rule every other skill in the game does, is clearly messed up and not coded properly. Common sense.

Not arguing that. I think personally the skill needs fixing, but UNTIL the GM's state it's bugged (which they have NOT done yet) and not to use it, I'm going to use everything at my disposal to have an edge over my opponents... be they players OR mobs.
Let me use a simile for you.
The United states is at War with Russia. We want to win this war as we have no desire to goose step or bend our knee's to the Russians. The Russians use chemical and biological warfare against us and kill 2/3 of our troops. We have a choice here, we can respond in kind, and basically prolong a war... or we can use a weapon in our arsenal to annihilate the Russians and end the war...
Now. For myself, I'd Nuke them the second chemical and biological agents were used and would do so on a massive scale, turning their entire country into a sheet of radioactive glass.
But then, I'm evil.
I'll use Flesh Ream and any other skill or method that is allowed within the games boundaries, until I am told not to by the GM's, to have an edge over others. When those boundaries change, I'll search out another method to gain an edge.
