MG is a difficult class to level and does poorly in pk

The general opinions from the PH and MY version is that Wizards are the 2nd-best PK class, next to Archers. They do better than Archers in TW, AoE levelling is cheaper, and can do fishing and butterflies with better efficiency than Archers can due to the water shield and better mdef in general.

I said PK class. Not PvP. They're also very strong in TW, but that's beside the point. How aren't they the 2nd-best PK class? This has been discussed before, but I'm bored.

Best ONLY if you get the jump on someone >.> IMO clerics are better...and a lot better at raising frustration level of the person being pked. (Example: Sleep => Dance around person => Debuff => Paralyze <if they are not an archer or wizard/optional> => Slowdown => kill? )

Long charge ups for attacks, and because of this there attacks will get canceled out alot (unless they get alot of -casting gear =\ )

Low crit rate (even if light armor its still not very high)

Only one stun, which isnt even a stun it just stops them from using skills but they can still run

Its difficult for them to get there heal off

Only one physical DMG attack which requires 2 fury to use

Well, seeing as how PKing is killing people who aren't ready to be killed, then getting the jump on people happens quite often I would suspect. I won't disagree with your opinion on Clerics, though - they are indeed very powerful for PK.

Canceled? Since when is a Wizard getting hit in PK? I feel sorry for your PK ability if you were hit while PKing as a Wizard.

Low crit rate (even if light armor its still not very high)
    High(est) base damage.

Only one stun, which isnt even a stun it just stops them from using skills but they can still run
And only one sleep, and only two sleep spells, and more than one stun.

Its difficult for them to get there heal off
Since when is a Wizard healing themselves in the middle of a PK?

Only one physical DMG attack which requires 2 fury to use
Getting fury before PK is not uncommon.

****ing christ stop quoting me and putting what you say in bold

Unless they 1 shot the person they will get hit plenty

Most of that was just a comparison to the other classes, I.E. EA has crits, EPs can Heal them selfs, WR can chain stun, ect ect

You're 28.5m away when you land your first hit. Explain more thoroughly.

    Theres 4 ranged classes

    2 Melee

WR can use cloud sprint over to the MG stun before the MG can get the next attack off.. possibly

WB should have enough HP to get over to the MG and start hitting them

But there's a million ways to play this scenario out and im tired of arguing about it since your mind is obviously made up lol. We'll just have to see how it plays out in game :)

Blademaster: "Hail of Doom" negates Cloud Sprint almost entirely.
Werebeast: "Hail of Doom". Water Dragon. Fast spell. Sutra. Heavy Nukes. Game over.
Archer: Mountain. Gush. Sutra. Nukes. Dead.
    Cleric: Don't bother.
Fox: Do wat you did to the Archer.
    Wizards: Don't bother.

GL finding a party that will take mages.

Also. 28.5m only applies if you only barely step to the edge of your range and they stand completely still. If they move one step away, your skill cancels as they're out of range. Even with 80% speed reduction... they can still move .1m before you can get your doom skills off. And after you pk one person... you're kind of boned until you can build up 3.99 fury again. o: Also, did you know it's possible to pk before 89?

And um.. your warrior strategy. Striding stroll sprint pl0x.

Man. I'm really starting to hate when people post combos to use that will INSTA KILL UR OPPONNENT that look good on paper but only if your opponent is a lifeless doll.

Ah. Striding stroll, yes, that's crazy. Well, Blademasters have low HP(usually) and heavy armour, so they're generally killed before they reach you if you have sutra. Usually, Wizards are flying so that Blademasters don't touch them. Or if you fly. And, I've seen plenty of Wizards in fishing parties... If you're on a PKing spree, use fury pots. That's not how most people operate - mostly, people wait a few minutes between PKs. And yes, I know people PK before 89, but there really is no point. Getting very powerful quickly is key to having a good guild.

@ Emblem: That Hail slows down extremely. The Mountain stuns for 6 seconds. They do stuff, but it doesn't hurt you.

Are you nuts? Blademasters have the second highest hp in the game =/

And why would you PK from the air? LOL

That may be, they will always have half the HP of a Barb, and have heavy armour(weak to magic. see?). And you PK in the air because it works. Black guild does it that way(completely elite 9x guild that came from the Chinese version). It works... I've been a victim of that plenty of times.
