    now that thats out of the way, great info. I've never played this game before, but I've already decided i want to be the blademaster. Its just the role i see myself playing naturally...

    any information you can give on the controls?

    umm, amber? i think you don't know too much about WB. it is indeed the greatest tanker but it doesn't lvl hard. as for the dmg...it does almost as much as the WR. and the greatest tanking technique isn't full con but con/agi hybrid. that way you have dmg/high evade/atk speed and proper hp to take on just about anything. usually the aggro is taken in by only 1 spell, the armor rendering one. the others just do high ammounts of damage to take in aggro.

    If you compare lvling a full con WB with lvling an Archer/Mage or Priest, then yea.... it's definetely harder + annoying.

    1. you have no range
    2. your damage is low (no your damage is not the same as a Warrior's o.O if the WR knows what he's doing)
    3. you can't go afk in AoE parties but have to lure nonstop

    Oh and i disagree, full con = best tank... did you even play PW before lol?
    the greatest tanking technique isn't full con but con/agi hybrid. that way you have dmg/high evade/atk speed and proper hp to take on just about anything

    1. Neither Con nor Agi really add any noticable close range damage
    2. Agi does NOT add atk speed, it depends on your weapon
    3. to have high evasion you need to spend a lot of points on agi.... that way your HP will be way lower than a full con WB's
    usually the aggro is taken in by only 1 spell, the armor rendering one. the others just do high ammounts of damage to take in aggro.

    1. there are certain aggro stealing skills (ripping bite etc.)
    2. you don't get aggro cause of your high damage (try tanking in a party with an acher, you will lose aggro a lot if he spams skills)

    actually blaze, i'm playing for quite some time now. i never said the same dmg and i also never said you get speed from agi. it only allows you to equip certain weapons that are faster and have a wider range of dmg (hatchets, axes). as for the tank part...as long as you spam your aggro stealing skills the archer can spam any skills he/she wants.
    i know how hard lvling a full con WB is since i have a lvl 71 full con WB myself.
    "2. your damage is low (no your damage is not the same as a Warrior's o.O if the WR knows what he's doing)" i have yet to see a WR my lvl that can defeat me in duel (even if it's only 41 for now, been kinda lazy lately).
    maybe it's just me with these assesments but i actually think what i say is right. as for the agi part: i only use agi for the hit/miss chance, nothing more. and so far, i've been doing way better then a full con WB (fellow guild member, same lvl, tanks a bit better, lvls up very slow). if in the next two months or so the hybrid prooves to be useless i will come forward and say it (though i actually hope it won't be).

    A heavy armor wf can own a wb anytime.
    Heavy armor WF have amazingly higher pdef.

    Im going to be in Int beta and i wanna play a EP or a archer, yes im a noob. i have not played the game yet. anyways are archers overplayed? & i heard EPs are good hybrids does that mean they can do good mdmg besides healing?

    I cant wait till beta starts :)

    There seems to be alot of people rolling an archer, but really try it if you want :) People will eventually try different classes and it should even out a bit in OB etc. As for more detail about cleric (EP) and other classes mesa think your best bet is http://pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/forumdisplay.php?f=7

    First off, thanks for a nice intro to the game. It helped me understand a littlebit more (though some i figured out on my own since it's pretty obvious. I assume that's why it's a basic guide^^) about the game:)

    I just have one question really. Is it necessary to level up crafting? What I mean is, is the crafted equipment far superior than other equipment you get from IE quests and drops (if eq even drops).
