    from my 4 yrs of experience ^^ guys who play girls, usually find me g*y and girls, just melt away in my charm (they go mute actually) so i have no problem telling a Guy-venomancer from a girl-venomancer ^^ it's pretty easy to find out (a kind little girl thought me this trick <3 her for that)

    but if you are a guy playing venomancer / female char, I'll always refer to you as "she" because i see your char, the one on my screen and not the one behind the monitor xD

    Don't get me wrong, I loved Guild Wars. I don't care what the other players are, and I do treat all avatars the same in game, but it does make me chuckle when you see a PVP match of 8 vs 8 and there's 14 supermodels running around and only 2 men.

    Correct, I am an RPer, but not the sappy romantic poetry-writing type. I knew I should've changed the wording on that post, haha. If you look like a girl, I refer to them as "she", and if you look like a guy, you're a "he". That's the only thing different I do when dealing with guy or girl avatars. This isn't a dating sim. :p

    you know in flyff and rohan online there are so many guys that flirt with guys, i mean like wow....thats why i dont want guys making girl characters

    why cant guys be guys, why cant girls be girls?

    Generally if I'm going to be playing a game for a long time I would preffer to be starring at female model that time then a male one. However it also depends on what I feel for that time, my usual behavor is find a class I like and make a male and female character if I can.

    In the case of Barbarians and Venomancer's well since I can't do male and female I'm more likely to go female only with this being an extended 3rd character then.


    As far as my RP doesn't matter if I'm my male character or female, I just do NOT intertwine RL and my character's background. When I'm playing female character she tends to be what my Ideal Opposite would be, when I play a male he tends to be the Ideal Self persona I strive to be, and when I'm not playing I am just simply me.

    If someone gets suckered by actions in the game expecting it to bear RL fruit then I think they've waisted there time. Most real females I've meet are not playing these games with an intention of hooking up in RL through them. They are playing just for the fun and adventure that they can pretend to be someone else and behave like a different person.

    Most of the females I know though also tend to choose a good PK class, since Rouge isn't in this game the closest equivalent seems like Hunter. So I would guess that's what they'll choose.

    It's a tough toss up though because in EQ they were Vah Shir, in FFXI they were mostly Mithra. So they may go WereFox and Male WingElf, though with the customizability of their character in this game it makes it pretty tough to really know what they'd choose.

    To date, you have to go somewhere, which isn't possible on a game.
    Anyway, If it gets me free stuff, my female character will stroke your e-peen for a while.

    Assuming you were both a guy and ****, wouldn't it make more sense if you made a guy character instead of a female one?

    Or is my logic wrong?

    I'm dissapointed. I expected something more creative than 'You are **** or want free stuff.'

    The truth is, I play female characters because I am a really sad, lonely person. I know I'll die alone, locked in my room, never having known the warmth and kindness of love. And because I'm so miserable, I create my characters in the shape of my ideal girlfriend. It somehow makes the solitude bearable; she's there with me every day. I'll never have someone to give gifts to, but this way it's ok.

    I remember what happened with my last character, on New Year's eve. I was grinding in the Swamp of Wrath, and then I noticed it was already midnight. Of course, I had nobody to spend the holiday with. People were celebrating outside, but I was by myself, like always. So I took a break, flew up, and zoomed in on my character's face. I waited until she cycled to the smile animation. That was the first and last smile someone gave me this year. I went to sleep and dreamt I was walking with her under the moonlit sky. I consider that the best experience in my life. After that, I think I fell too much in love with her. I couldn't stand seeing her hurt by monsters again and again. Shortly after I grit my teeth and quit the game forever. It hurt, but it was better that way. I still remember her though... I talked to my family about this once, and then my mom got scared and said 'You're moving with your aunty and uncle in Bel-Air!'

    I have male and female characters. I don't use my female characters to get freebees because I think it's creepy to have guys flirting with them. After all, they're flirting with me. :eek: When that happens, I either ignore them and get away asap or tell them I'm male.

    So, what's my motive for having female characters? It's simple: I get bored with the game and tire of looking at another guy for hours on end. Just keep in mind that these are alternate characters for when I get bored. :) Ultimately, playing the opposite gender is guaranteed to happen. (Yes, there are ladies who do the same.) ;)

    PS: Junk, I hope you're not being serious. If so, I feel sorry for you, man. That's really pathetic.

    Even though im the concussed bumble bee in the family , i have always played female characters, lena who is the flirtious scorpion of the family has always played female characters, where as I'm the passive one she is not and usually we play at same time to protect each other back. Most male characters flirt with her while they end up calling me mom. lol

    and what exactly is the problem with that? it happens in any game no matter what you do, just don't be so gullible and assume the female character who tries to milk you is really a girl. Oh and guess what? Some real girls do the same.
