    I find it funny that guys actually do flirt with female characters and give them items. It's not as if they will meet you in RL just because you gave them some gold in a game. There are girls that play these games, such as myself and others on here, but we are not just on here to have things handed to us or flirt with males. I also play COD4 on PS3 and I get so many comments when guys hear my voice and see my sn and clan tag. I am married, so I am not playing a game to hit on guys. Sorry, I just like playing.

    No but seriously.. I've heard many conversations about this.. and the way I see it is very simple:

    You are playing a GAME!!!!
    People tend to take games FAR too serious these days, People MUST remember it IS a game.
    Its Fantasy, not real, therefor you can't be sure of the person behind the character. And who cares? As long as we all have a great time, Personal info shouldn't even be brought into games in my opinion!

    Nyeh I dont see anything wrong with guys playing girl characters... and I also see nothing wrong with dating in a game. Hell, I plan to do the latter, and maybe even the first (I want a Veno alt). But like in real life, some times you get Duped.... and if you do the solution is simple

    ~If you find out the girl/guy your dating is of the opposite sex than you expected, PK the hell out of them until they drop every item you ever gave em (which will take a long time, so have fun beating the **** out of them)

    ~Don't give them anything

    ~....Get off your lazy **** and think of your own solution, I'm not your mom

    Simple solution ask the person who is palying with the character their gender and go from there..
    Luckyly u wont find some dude liying to u and wanting to be ur gf...:confused:

    OR you could always just not look for a relationship where the gender of the other person can't be proven.

    In other words: treat it like the women you meet in real life, if there's any question as to whether or not they have an adam's apple: it's a dude.

    Carlos, here's some advice: Don't trust internet people, or you will be constantly be scammed. And I really doubt you will find love on a message board, especially here. I'm not making fun of you, just trying to give you some advice.

    I have to ask... why do people bother with online dating? I can understand just getting married in game for whatever gameplay benefits you get, but actually looking for romance is really creepy to me.

    That's usually a sign of an immature and unhealthy relationship. You're probably caught up so much in how wonderful love can feel with the right kind of person that you can't focus on other really important issues that could ruin your relationship in the future. Don't talk **** until you've been through the ringer... a few times.
