    There's no doubt that some girls are still going to play female characters in the game. :| But, y'know, things could work the other way around, and some of the male characters you party with are actually being played by girls. ;P I usually base my gender choice on how pretty/shiny the character looks, and ... I can say that I play male characters a lot more, and I'm a girl. (That, and like -- you don't get hit on randomly in game.)

    I'm a guy. Playing as a girl, definitely.

    Instead of pretending I'm a girl it's more like I'm raising a daughter kind of feeling.

    I was waiting for someone to pull the irl girl card thing ;D

    Personally...there is a certain aspect in online "girls" that attracts me to them. Maybe its the whole Rp thing or the fact that its not as boring as irl can be most of the time....I get very emotional about it >_>;

    This guy called me out on the forum

    It was me, my guildmaster, arcane, oh, junk, and so guy from Corum

    All hopped in the thread

    turned it into a Gallery Hall This guy started bugging with the clothes I could chose I didn't say nothing at first I just turned up my nose He said, "You must be ****? This shirt cost $20" I said, "And look at the one you get, plaid with a butterfly collar!" The next half hour was the same old thing This guy bragging about the male afro from 1963 And then he lost his mind and did the ultimate I showed him her Adidas and he retorted with Zips! I said, "Dude, stop posting, don't challenge my rep" He said, "You're only sixteen, and you'll never get head" I said, "Dude, stop trying, you're embarassing yourself" He said "no, you go to school to learn2read" I said, "This isn't relevant, and I'm amazed your parents were allowed to breed And please put back the bell-bottom Brady Bunch trousers But if you don't want to I can live with that but You gotta put back the double-knit reversible slacks" He wasn't moved - everything stayed the same Inevitably the first day of open beta came I thought I could get over, I tried to play sick But this dude said, "No, no way, uh-uh, forget it" There was nothing I could do, I tried to relax I got dressed up in my fresh gear and he equipped his ancient artifacts And when we walked into the game, it was just as I thought I was looking fly and he just looked lame And though I was laughing at him he didn't understand it at all Because everybody was pointing and whispering When I warped into the hall Guys all hanging on me asking how my day went So he said, "They were laughing at you and you need them, "if you don't play as a guy you'll never get a girlfriends!"     umm I just got to these threads, so I'd start off by saying hello.

    As for the topic at hand, I think that's a horrible idea. Not that I don't understand the point of the TC, but more as the Marriage system that Perfect World has would be lopsided. Since the odds are in favor of more guys playing than more girls... there'd be less female characters at all in this game.

    Another reason would be the loss of the WF class to male players. That class is one of the easiest classes to play as and was recommended for use by people getting into the game... so taking that away would also be a bad idea.

    I mean... sure. Let's be honest, even if we made the accounts gender specific, then that wouldn't stop all of the guys from playing female characters either. They'd just have ALL female characters. And not all guys play female characters to fustrate other guys and be total jerks. Sometimes, it just feels better to look at a female character for "X" amount of hours insted of a male. And if you're like me, you'd have BOTH male and female characters. My main would be "me" but an alternate slot for me would be a Werefox. Not a crime in my book.

    So I hope that you guys take that into consideration and not ruin the game because of a few airheads and jerks.
