Now that all Dqs have been made 1coin and the Dq shop is removed for good with the price of gear drops altered drastically

I miss auto botting lv100 mobs nightly and doing Archosaur Assualt which now seems quite pointless.

What do you guys miss ?

    I don't miss;

    1. Gold being capped and almost impossible to buy
    2. Lag from all the bots
    3. Bots trying to ks my dailies mobs
    4. Economy going into hyper inflation from all the botting coin

    1. PWE actually providing support
    2. Joining a random squad and having people actually know how to play their class.
    3. Joining a random squad and having people actually know how to play as a group.
    4. Having free time to play after finishing all the daily quests.

    Kitty misses...

    1. FC - Those runs taught Kitty how to play her classes and it wasn't forced speed-running like PV(grinding against clock...soooo fun -.-'). Bosses were also nice challenge for non-rb 80+ squads.
    2. BH Lunar, BH Aba, BH SoT and BH W2 as BH I'sb:cry
    3. Old gear standards - nowadays on RT any gear ish fine for anything so decently-geared ppl do all the work. Yay.b:pleased
    4. Time before Brazil invasion - huehuehuehuehue
    5. PVP without spirit and passives - A year ago Kitty used to kill many ppl easily and tank half a squadful. Now Kitty hardly tickles and gets 1-shot by everyone.b:bye
    6. Squads 2,5 years ago - Pretty much everyone knew their class' and how to play in squad. Now...b:cry

    I definitely miss FC, people DID learn their classes in there but only if they did full runs. I wish they hadn't killed the instance. I know you can still run it but it kinda feels less fun with no real reward for it when you get to the big room. :( The amount of powerleveled noobs then definitely wasn't as bad as it is now! XD At least FC required time to learn a bit about your toon, not just instantly get thrown into 95-100 and turn up to high level squads in masters gear and no skills or knowledge of anything.

    Something like it:
    WC:FC run 200k
    WC:FC full run 2 millions

    Really don't you know, that FC exist yet ?

    Yea, you can't sell it may be, but you can be there until moment, when you will say, that it is really boring (you can take fun for ever though).

    More, you can do it more times, than before !!!

    I miss...

    Delta done the old way, at the entrance, digging for beans for auras, barb bringing the mobs in one clot for the rest of the squad to destroy

    Enough TW capable people willing to play to support 5 or 6 relatively equal strength factions, and people who would stay with that faction instead of everyone abandoning ship for the biggest one until one fac is so huge no one has a chance in hell against them

    Chat rooms with groups of people to help you with your FB's, because they wanted the rep

    World bosses that took squads of people to take down, and didn't get eaten 45 seconds after they appeared on the map

    Farming for mats for subs and wines

    10-20 catshops next to the apothecary with all grades of herbs for sale in West, and catshops full of all kinds of mats around the blacksmith

    Stacking clerics to take down Mantavip, or Crimson
    A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.     +1 to this holy ****, my 101 veno has been sitting idle since the expansion, haven't even had time to do an FSP.....

    An yeah, it just doesn't feel right leaving all that DQ behind. I wish there was something to make them useful again.

    I miss farming gear. By that I mean, farming actual gear and not farming BH, TT etc to buy gold to buy gear, cards etc.
    I miss no earning time.

    Other things already mentioned:
    Time to play after dailies. 16 pv runs a day is exhausting. Add on BH, BQ, FSP, Morai and Primals b:cry Been trying to farm frags form Delta to make pan gu but can't seem to get there nightly.
    I miss FC with hypers.
    Holy path being squad buff.

    No offense, but 16 PV runs a day being exhausting is purely self-inflicted and well beyond the staple of 'normal dailies'.


    Dailies came up a lot in this topic. Dailies in MMO's serve the function of creating the feeling of obligation to log in and put in time. They don't all have to be done every single day. I'll quite often skip some of them in favor of doing something I'd rather do for fun.

    I guess to clarify I meant I don't miss FC big room selling, and the environment it was creating.

    Was really sad to see new players starting out in the game pressured into or choosing to spend money on buying big rooms to level up to 100 so they could do stuff with everyone else that was already 100. They couldn't even form a full FC run because no one wanted to do it and would rather just wait and pay for the exp room. Looks like the effect of the pill is even worse, we'll see.

    Actually running a whole FC with people your level and gear in the lvl 90s was really fun though and you always made friends spamming it.

    I miss 2x drops creating a buzz, we have it so often now it doesn't feel the same, the death of nirvana probably has a lot to do with that too.

    The bit about 16 PV runs, I'm kind of the same, it's self inflicted of course but the way that I see it if you're going to go through the bother of it (which you need to if you want 105/105/105 in a realistic timeframe) then you may aswell maximise what you get from it, so if you can solo 16 runs why wouldn't you. I went through a period of inactivity and stopped leveling and then came back but couldn't be bothered to do PV, but now that I am doing it.."go hard or go home" springs to mind.

    I miss FC. It was really fun, and sometimes you'd end up with lifelong friends or faction invites from people you happened to run with a lot. You cheered them on as they leveled. Sometimes you'd end up with people who had no idea how to run their class cause all they've ever done was to buy Big Rooms. Other times though, you'd end up with people who knew their class, above and beyond. I remember the first time I saw a cleric pulling the hallways and running up to the boss. I thought for sure we were gonna wipe, but he handled it like a pro.

    I kinda miss the old BH's as well, especially Abba. It's such a beautiful instance.

    I miss the time when you had time to do something with people, or just relax. Now everyone's busy with their dailies, and it never freaking ends.

    I miss... nothing. :3 I'm so damn happy that bots are gone and prices are lower, I'm glad that FC leveling is gone because it was fun the first time but beccame a torture after the 57th time you make it (but now it's ok to run it with people who know it for quests amd titles) and I'm soooo happy to see a lot of new players around. It's more easy to find people exploring because now quests give more exp and it's worth making them, and enjoy some world lore and the beautiful places of this game. Money making is less stressing for easy-going players like me, thanks to joj, BH and FSP.

    That's it. The 99% of forum users spend their time whining about how PWI sucks (and I wonder why they're still playing then, trolololol), but I have more fun now than before. :D

    Finally someone who sees also the good things..this game is always developing, if it would be stacked ppl will be bored about that. I think that there is no perfect formula for a nice game, they keep improving, I like that this is not a dead game.

    I miss Nirvana. When my main finally hit lvl 100 Nirvana was already become a deathzone. And as I play mage class I now have Nirvana quest which I can't finish because no one don't run Nirvana anymore. So I more like missed Nirvana.

    I don't miss the problem which fc babies caused but I miss the amount of exp which hypered fc gave to me. I haven't had yet a single high lvl PV run. I guess ppl won't do those or either i'm busy, afk or off when someone forms.
    I wish I can get a helpful squad for fc when my alt need it for title and quest. Helpful squad instead of excuses - I don't do fc anymore because I can't use hypers qq.

    ^This. Dailies have became more daily routines. Log in -> BHs -> Morai dailies -> faction base quests -> Maybe something else like nuema hunting.

    Meh. I do dailies when I feel like it. 102/102/100 and in no rush to get to 105/105/105; 100/100/38 on the only other char that's made it to 100, and feeding XP to genie so I can farm low level stuff.

    Please tell me how did you learn your class in FC? What you learn there to do with your toon that you didnt knew you can do before? Enlighten me pls.

    Before the time where APS people ran and sold the instances, actual squads would FC. Pulls, aggro-retention, the whole deal.

    That's actually where I got a lot of my experience on my Barb, after playing into my 70s without that.

    I was always highly complimented on my aggro control skills. ;)

    I miss Nirvana. I met a lot of my friends through farming vana during 2x and have a lot of fond memories from that time.

    I miss Delta in two ways, I miss doing the old Delta, running and gathering beans etc, and also Delta more recently; it's so rare to find anyone doing Delta or even full Delta now.

    What did they do to delta? Haven't heard of any changes in there.

    Definitely this! People would flock over Head Hunter, waiting for him to reset and shout "LF new day BH". And I wouldn't fret if I couldn't get into the first squad, because there were several squads running the same BH. b:pleased

    On the other hand, I don't miss PW School Teacher - it was a pain to go every day to the platform just to take Roll Call; it's automatic now and starts as soon as you log in, wherever you are on the map. ;3
