Weekly code missing?

I know we have 2 codes connected to the Extra Life event, so I am not complaining.

However I am trying to understand how the weekly code system works.

If there is an event like this week, does that mean the weekly code is not coming that week?

The weekly code is posted later in the week, However its up to sparkie just when its posted.

The weekly code have always been posted after maintenance, when it has been the only code that week.

So maybe because of the event he is posting it later this week.

For all those rewards, except the 1 profundity, we had to raise a sht ton of actual cash for the charity event. Stop acting like they just gave that stuff out for fun.

Profundity code was weekly code from the week before. We are missing the weekly code for the week just ending.

I do believe weekly code was the unoffical way of fixing dq. We should have that, but this will be the second time a weekly code wasn't posted. A new one will be postd later this week, I'm guessing.

The name weekly code is false advertising, if it is not weekly.

i am also furious about not having dqs system, but these kind of "free weekly codes" which might come up with some junk items, such as 1 profundity scroll? u kididing? or 10 maiden chest? da hell still that item exist? hellow its not 2008...

Maybe HQ are reigning Sparky in. It was great in the beginning, we were having monthly updates and he was regularly updating the weekly code. If you notice, we didn't have an October update and he is now lacking on updating the weekly code - its the "whenever I have time to post a code" code.

Oh well, this just seems the way that PWI is going now - show the community you do care for a while, then it all drops off.

the event codes should at least be separate from the weekly code so we actually have something to COUNT ON! this is like 3 weeks and i think 2 weeks with no codes at all!b:angry

if anyone ever notice, this always happens with new gms that they bring in every few months to a year... then the new gm slumps into the same as the old ones, ignoring the game and only care to promote their other pwe games... that doesnt help keep people on pwi

We had to slow down on the codes due to a few abusers recently. That said, I do intend to rectify the 2 missing weeks of codes, so on Monday I'll see what I can do about that, along with that week's code. Sorry for the delays b:sad

Why do people have to abuse the nice things that PWI gives us? Personally if you find abusers Sparkie, give them a 365 day ban, no ifs, no ands, no buts. Just cast them out permanently. I would hate to see idiots ruin it for the rest of us.

And with that, thank you Sparkie for all that you have done and given us. I'm sure you are stretched thin with everything on your plate, but many of us do appreciate the kindness you extend to us that very much enjoy playing this MMO.

Curious to how people were abusing a 1x use per account code. I mean even if someone had 10 accounts, I can't see them redeeming 10x profundity scrolls as an abuse. b:chuckle Event gold is still just 1 per account. Nothing you get from the codes or event gold codes is tradable.

Unless.Unless ofc he is saying that that accounts we made before the account limit rule was made, is abuse.

It's not BS in the slightest. It's also not something he can disclose specifics on.

Take half a moment and consider what our community can be like. Is it REALLY a shock to you that some people would find a way to abuse the system?

This is clearly just a QQ thread....you are all mostly complaining about not getting free stuff you somehow feel is owed to you. This is a free to play game....not a we give you free stuff FOR playing game. Stop complaining and wait patiently.

the bans wont happen because the people that bother to abuse are often significant contributors to the economy, also pwi's reaction time is so slow that abuse spreads like wildfires and there would just be too many people to ban, another significant problem is they are a mix of incompetent when it comes to parsing logs or the logs keep getting fubar so people lie in tickets and get away with a lot

TL:DR PWE is too greedy to actually ban abusers

I would have hoped Arc had a failsafe that would make it easier to spot code abusers, and in turn make it easier for bans to be handed down

i think it had, but doesnt change the fact they really dont want to make their customer base smaller, or cause more tickets

I don't know how it is on other servers, but on Morai I have seen a couple of catshops selling event gold tickets, vip crown tickets and dreamchaser tickets. So there is definitely some abuse going on.
