Basically there's a new spirit stat that 10 spirit = 1 attack level and 1 defense level.

To gain it, you -HAVE- to do the new Primal dailies and you -HAVE- to use the cards. A character that utilizes neither will have 0 spirit.

The Primal Dailies end up awarding like ~218 spirit max, iirc. The result is a character that exists now is 21 attack and defense levels above any new character that just hit 100 for the first time. Cards can give another...280 or so? (takes a while, not so much a worry that CSers will win this, just takes time)

So basically active players > inactive, literally turning the game into a chore and giving new players over 3 months of getting oneshot before they can compete effectively, cause they need to warsong and do primal dailies.

It's good to hear people like that one person say they're new to the game, but I fear -unless- PWI gets a nice big wave of new players and newbie FRIENDLY content, this game is gonna burn out. As I said, this'll take a loooong time. I just feel we've hit a point where things -potentially- will not get better. Compare that to back when people said "game iz dying" and then NW update was amazing (best update ever??). Now the community is so stagnant that -UNLESS- the update fixes the issues I named, they could release an epic PVP instance and it wouldn't matter.

The game itself is fine, but the spirit system dissuades people from joining and feels like a chore for established players (it does NOT make you more powerful, it's just a "keep doing this or fall behind and take more damage" thing), the economy desperately needs a more effective farming source to speed up the flow of money through pockets, and server merges are definitely a spark of freshness that could help with stale politics. We all know this story: Infamous and Crimson fighting while Mayhem is useless. Normally I'd be trying to find a roundabout way to fight Infamous (again not personal animosity, just competition = healthy server) but I'm -literally- out of options. Currently in Bankai ready and waiting for any TWs, but it'd be a good season before Bankai could oppose Infa or Crimson and it's more about "this is the last guild I see that's trying to improve and having fun." Even if they do have fun by quoting animez and Iunno that ****.
