It would be an insult to call examples of my point stupid. In this case i've given the benefit of the doubt and assumed they're none the wiser and it was never intended as an insult.

Proof:

About mods, Fuzzywuzzy is/was in vicious and never heard a complain about it or something against him.Now when a member of a faction is bashed, rolfstomped ofc his faction mates will come in defense or support him no matter if a mod is part of it or let the things going when the flame look like hell .

Fuzzy wasn't in Vicious when he became a mod, wasn't in Vicious while he was an active mod but joined Vicious to play for 2 days n never logg back on.

Again - baseless accusation that's simply not true most likely because he simply does not know. I didnt know either, but the point is theres just too much finger pointing on these forums and not a lot of actual constructive discussion whether people realise what they're doing or not. Perhaps I was wrong to name someone directly and point out that what they've been saying as of recent is abundant in nonsense but he is not the only one. For that I'm truly sorry but it's done now.

And it's not like that was the only thing i said either, most of what i've written is meaningful and civil.

It seems some people complain because threads has been closed and others because want to be closed earlier. Closed seems to be the magic word , ban the person that make a thread to be closed or maybe implement the 3 strike system.

Personally, I think if the game itself offered more (and by "more" I mean if the game itself had what any other past mmo game I've played had to actually be able to keep busy in game), then we would not see so much bash-banter on the forums. People are extremely aggitated and frustrated with this game...

Take my main 102 psychic here for a perfect example. In order for me to just level up (which I found Savagaign Campsite as my perfect little leveling spot in map 3), I need supplies as in hps charms, mps charms, pdef charms, ele-resist charms, crabs, herbs, pstones for my genie, hyper stones (x12)... Now, I can gain experience nicely... And I pick up as much loot as fast as I can click the pick up icon while killing and having mobs kill themselves... So I have a good "leveling" run gaining a nice amount of experience for the 20-40 minutes before gear starts breaking... Now I go back to the npc camp and sell everything to the npc there.... And "WOW I made 1 mil coin worth of loot in only 20-40 minutes!" That's great... UNTIL...

Repair bill = - 600k+ coins... AND I'm out hps charms, mps charms, pdef charms, ele-resist charms, crabs, herbs, pstones for my genie = MORE THAN the remaining coin from selling.... ALL too much to do anything in game for most people.

---> So the point here, is I am not even willing to go grind mobs at all because doing so is more expensive than my ability to pay to do so. Sure, that particular campsite wrecks gears and all the supplies... But even going to grind what does not wreck your gears and supplies as fast... still does the same thing over an even longer period of time. BH's... same thing reallistically (unless by random chance you get a 1 mil or 2x 1 mil or 5 mil coin card)... or if I happen to sit back and not do my character's work load potential while letting my squad do the work... THIS is why PWI is not worth it to me to keep up with... ENTIRELY TOO MUCH $ just to play. THIS is why people come to the forums to banter each other till NW nights... And NW is now the only way to make coin in this game from within the game without the **** ton of $ to do so... but b:quiet (the only way that can be the case is through loopholes in the way NW actually works, which will eventually get fixxed.)...

IF PWI gave a damn to make a proper game rather than this half-***ed client milking machine... THEN the forums would not be filled with so much garbage... Because people would actually be playing the game. So even the so called "forum trolls" that I have had plenty of words with myself, I do understand why they take to forum trolling in the manner they do, as disgusting as they "appear to be at times"... The real issue is NOT them b:bye

What? No, literally nothing you say makes sense. I don't see why people who make legit threads should be banned for their threads being trolled on. Well gosh. It looks like its been a busy day. I cant possibly follow what's been posted since I left for work this morning, because it looks like the thread has been edited too much for me to try to. That's okay too.

Its not necessary to point fingers of blame. Solutions to a problem as complex as the RT forums rarely are achieved through that. In a lot of instances that just works out to everyone being annoyed at everyone else, and nothing but continuing to 'pass the buck' is accomplished.

I love seeing the discussion, and I would hope everyone cares enough about our server to try to project a level of maturity and sincerity into what they post. I can easily see that for the most part they have. Genuine opinions are not a problem, and they dont have to agree - but, to be taken seriously they have to be delivered and received with a sense of respect for yourself, if for no one else.

If you dont respect yourself, no one else is going to either. The way one projects themselves is how they are ultimately perceived to be. Why should anyone argue with the way someone shows you they indeed are? In the end, that's really a big favor they are doing you. Anyone in real life tells me they are bad, witchy, a player, a thief, a killer, etc - I accept it and readily move on. Doesnt matter if it wasnt really true, for whatever reason, that's what they wanted ME to see. Its not in my best interest to bother to try to fix them, or attempt to tell them that what they just said to me about who they are, isnt true.

Even with the trolls, banter, wedding vids, Levi Dance thread, and whatever else might be here, the forum has been moving like a sloth.

Okay, at some slow moving point someone has an issue, is bored or whatever and something negative starts cooking. Someone feels wronged, and the progression continues until you peek one day, and what do you see?

Thread after rediculous negative sloth thread, locked by Mods.

So, then I say to myself, "Is this just RT, or do other server forums look like this too?"

Randomly clicked on one, and after seeing no locks and no Mod names indicating a closing, and simply reading the threads titles, I couldnt help but wish I had started playing on that server instead of this one. Clicked on a couple more, basicly the same discovery. THAT is the motivation of my making this thread. My reaction to myself was, "What? Are we the red-headed step children of PWI?"

Can *I* do something to try to stop the sloth cycle of what became days of thread closings? I'm not claiming it was an astounding number of them, but the amount of days I watched it happening (because the forum was so slow) was simply more than I could bare, lol.

RT doesnt look good. With trolls, without trolls - doesnt matter, it looks sickly either way.

As for the Mods, like anyone else they are human. Ive already said they have a difficult task. They dont want to have to stop being someone's friend, and they have a choice to make in that regard. I dont think anyone realizes at the moment they accept their invitation to Moderate a forum how many substantial changes they are going to be forced to make. Its a form of loyalty if you will.

When push comes to shove will you choose being loyal to the responsibility (a.k.a. the TOS, the GMs and the best interests of ALL players) of being great at the volunteer task you have undertaken; or will you be loyal to the friends? The worst possible outcome is to become either indifferent or disgusted by all of it, and walk away from PWI for good.

Is it abnormal for anyone to instantly take the side of friends and family over comparative strangers, as a first reaction? Not at all.

Is it abnormal for any human - even if you are Steven Hawkins - to make a mistake, or to react on instinct? Not at all.

I hope from writing all that everyone who bothers to read the wall of text can see their is no blame at this point. The trolls wouldn't look so prevalent if their was something on the other side of the scale to balance them out. Whatever personal situation lead to so much ridiculousness over the past few days may not have had a chance to escalate to the level it did.

I hope ingame bans arent necessary. Im sure, as a top faction leader, you are aware that the server is steadily declining in population. With school starting soon, I predict it will be slightly more dead than it was last year over the Winter.

No, Im sorry. No bans unless some poor EMO child will never rest until they get one, in my personal opinion. Just because Im against bans doesnt mean I wouldnt normally agree with you - it just seems like far too little too late, in my personal opinion.

This is an international game. That being a fact... Many people on PWI do not understand each other outright. You BOTH show intolerance to each other (even considering such a point as this being an international game), and based on a continuous rivalry...

a continuous rivalry on the basis that BOTH of you have had disagreements with each other... a continuous rivalry on the basis that BOTH of you have had bad words towards each other on that basis, to begin with...

the other isssue might also be age, culture (different cultures do see different things in different ways... ie. what is an insult in one culture might not be in another culture, or might even be respected... take "burping" after a meal for example), or some other reason...

ONE or BOTH of you need to be the better person here and start off on a correct foot perhaps? b:question

I've not disagreed with him until on forums and he seems simply to not completely understand anything I say and nor I, him so I'll just choose to ignore him and hope he does the same for me since I can't see that I've said anything wrong and since this thread is being derailed by his permenant hate for anyone who has left QQme/joined vicious. I have some hope for PWI changing, if the unsubstantiated rumors I have been reading here and there pan out to be true. At least there is a glimmer of hope on the horizon for me still. b:pleased

I like the game. I was lucky enough to start playing while there were still new players coming onto the server on an appreciable scale. I had a great time right up until level 85 or so, and then it seemed like suddenly the party was over one day. My friends list went from having lots of names and being active, to suddenly having little random light on it, to long stretches of no light at all.

It seems to me with the investments people started making into the game a couple of years ago, they cant simply close it - so, like it or not, the only options are someone set up a trust fund for the game, or they have to change it back to something viable again.

I guess Im not the only one that once again needs to rethink what they are doing. b:chuckle

Apostasy is totally correct - even people who speak the same language and are from the exact same culture can get what someone else is saying totally wrong, especially on a written forum.

I, very, rarely haunt these forums, due, in part, to what Brill is saying here.

I think ppl NEED a place to vent, and the PW forums is the natural venting spot. It's public and you feel that you are heard.

I agree, the game lacks interest and seems unfairly imbalanced in many aspects. There isn't much to do about that, BUT, one way ppl tend to try to "balance" it is to come here and vent by pointing out character flaws in each other. I hate to see those things happening, as I'm sure some of the mods do as well.

So, the mods do what they can to keep pplz feelings from being hurt or further "imbalance" from happening. I haven't seen a copy of the job description, so I can't address their performance. I do know that there have been times, not often, but a few, that I felt there was bias on these forums.

And Brill, YES, we can dance, even sing and strum the guitar!! Join us sometime, everyone!! Maybe we can find things in each others' character that makes us HAPPY and makes us SMILE and maybe, just maybe, for a night, we'll feel like friends.

The forums isn't the problem, it's just a symptom of a much larger problem. There is a problem with the game itself and it trickles down into the forums. Why are there no helpful forum posts? No one needs help with anything. PvE too hard? Level past your problem. Gear not good enough? Cash it. Can't cash past what's troubling you? Make mulit accounts and do bh 100 for the coin rewards. I can solo or duo every instance except puppet boss in Abaddon. Is it because I'm super awesome? Hell no, it's because I have uber gear and PvE is a joke with it. I can't beat someone in PvP? Go to the forums and trash them, that's the great equalizer. The problem is with the game itself and not the forums. Fix that and you fix (for the most part) what happens down here in the depths that is the RT sub forum.

I agree with most everything you said. Maybe a QQme/Vici Dance video would be cool? I bet a lot of peeps would watch it for the giggles alone.

I guess I have to thank you guys too. The game is the issue alright as you and others point out, and people complain and vent all over the forums about it. I dont post here much either - no reason too really. Im basically a farm toon now. Other than making a thread to announce to all of RT that Brill owns 'Hell' now, so stay out while Im there (I mean, what other claim could I stake, lol?)

Ive left, or took a break from the game for a month or so a couple times. Come back with a new angle to play it, and then something comes up (like a $600K repair bill for 30 minutes of game play) that gets me well...NOT excited, and I have to try to come up with some new angle. *shrugs*

I have to commend you Sir. Ive seen people elude to what you just said, but never come right out and say it plainly. You're other points are also strong, but this one just lept right out at me.

One thing this thread has made me aware of is there are reasons other than snobbery that people with leet gears dont want to waste their time doing things with those that dont. At nearly a million coin for half an hour or so of good gameplay I probably wouldn't either. If I ever do farm R9, I cross over into the realm where my 'meter's running' too - kind of like taking a cab, lol.

I think RT is a great server. How can we make it better?


1. Go to tournament! (thursday nights)

2. Make NW map smaller! (ok we can't do this)

3. Everyone try to be active in TW (esp on map reset)

4. More ppl hunting World bosses and mini world bosses!

5. Maybe a faction designed to only do trials, or maybe a night where everyone does PQ 3 or something like this.

Who knows purhaps we can organize some fun server activities.

Even if a couple of those bullet points were accomplished, it would be great, imo.

We could actually accomplish a few of those with the right ppl in the right places at the right times.

With organization, working together, prior planning and participant encouragement, we could create the most "fantastical" server events in the US.
