The value of the set bonus for Crown of Madness + Wings of Ascension is translated as "ATT LV +9".

    Looks like it was a typo during the translation process.

    Ah so I wasn't hallucinating when I remember it was +8 attack levels. Glad to know it was a textual error.

    ok i recently just found out that crown+wings only gives 8 att lvl instead of 9 and GM aware of this? maybe change the value bonus for the set to display 8 instead of 9?

    My comment is completely irrelevant to the OP's question.
    When you say what arrow is that do you mean that he has equipped? or in his inventory?

    In his inventory is Distract arrows +140 +1crit
    Equipped is the normal +140 I believe. Sorry Can't remember the name.

    This one is actually an extremely easy fix -- game strings are the easiest of fixes I can think of since it's just modifying tiny amounts of text and that's it. In this case it would just be modifying weapon or complect game string display to show the correct attack level.

    Well maybe pwi will fix it in a patch or something then.

    In all other versions of the game that string says +8 attack levels not 9.

    Bumping this. It's been almost 3 years and the typo has not been corrected. There are a lot more Crown of Madnesses now with the recent sale and people are still coming to me to complain about the attack level being lower than what they expected.

    (and yes I realize it's silly how whenever anything goes wrong in the game people come to me to complain about it)    ​​
