90% of the poll votes show we don't want noobs in FC. And since they are restoring it back to normal until further notice, we'd rather have it turned off.0 -

Actually i think the poll points towards 50% wanting hyper in FC, but only for people 75+. Or the 30% who want hyper in FC no matter the level. So actually most people want hyper back, just not available to lowbies.
Then you have the few people wanting it gone entirely. I would rather it be restricted to 75+ or gone entirely. That instance was never meant for low levels.[SIGPIC]http://i200.photobucket.com/albums/aa85/kitsunekatie/guild stuff/allcharsig1-1.jpg [/SIGPIC]

Poll or no poll. Meh.
Loth: seems the same as normal, but I am always on when everyone goes to bed.
DW: More people questing/BH/PV. No more FC spam. There are now people asking for PV openers (for a nice price, too) for different level ranges.b:cute The world may be small, but it is far from known.

And if you want to decide if it should reverted back to how it was for the time being, at least you could recognise that 35% is in favor of that, 10% against and the other 55% is in the area in between.
Those 55% may be on either side at the question of changing it until there is going to be what they want or not. The other 45% shows a 3.5 to 1 favor of reverting it back.
I hope those that interpret this poll as that the majority does not want it reverted back are not gonna be any kind of researchers in their future lives. Of course, there is the off chance that they may be smarter in interpretation skills than they show but are devious and hope the rest of the dumb people is gonna follow them if they come up with such a misinterpretation. But lets give them the benefit of doubt and asume they are stupid instead of devious. b:chuckle0 -
Since last patch i noticed: HUGE lag spikes. Not only me but from all my faction from different part of the world, and aswell as No more fun FC runs, so now people on 87-95 does NOTHING to lvl except daily quests, cause there is no quest left giving more then 50k exp. GG.0

Oh my.
So I'm not the only one who felt those?

According to the current stats (at 7:03 pm EST)
10.19% want no FCC hypers
35.95% want indiscriminate FCC hypers
53.86% want level restricted FCC hypers.
There is absolutely no way that 90% of people want noobs kept out of FCC when only 64.05% object on any level.
Additionally, the poll does not address in the 53.86% of people who want level restricted hypers whether they would rather see no hypers at all or indiscriminate hypers. Assuming they fall at 50/50, or even having a slight but not hugely significant majority of them falling in favor of removal of hypers if it's all or nothing, that's still an overall majority in favor of their return.xSonOfCircex-105/103/102 Sage Wiz

I'm one of the ones that would prefer they remained off until a level limit is set. Sanctuary has been a lot more active with them off.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

The campaign against FC Hyper Powerleveling is NOT about "Opinion"! It is about the FUTURE of PWI, which only the shortsighted, blind, ignorant, greedy and selfish can be in opposition to. The map has been filling up again... wow, it takes a rocket scientist to figure out that new players will see an "MMO" (this is an mmo right? b:question) with LIFE? It is pretty simple... FC hyper powerleveling = PWI's Death. Period.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

The majority of people who support this "no hyper fc" stuff are hypocrits that have used FC to hyper up themselves as well. A level limit in place? Perhaps.
There is no point in questing a lot in pwi at some point to kill 100 mobs for some crappy xp reward and coins that go wasted on gear repairs.
It's not FC that kills the game, it's the players who choose to use FC who do so while they can also do BH, PV, Quests (the ones actually worth doing).
b:bye Don't blame an instance, it's the players that choose to play the way they do.0 -

The instance is what creates the mentality that destroyed world map activity and the community as a whole.
Why would anyone grind, quest, do BH or anything else when hypering in frost is an option?
It gets you from point A to point B the quickest.
You say to place the blame on the player, but any individual not taking advantage of the system gets shafted. After leveling my BM before the existence of hypers, I leveled several other toons to the nineties, also without hypers.
However, when they came out, like many I completely abandoned questing and my BHs, WQ, crazy stone, and all other forms of experience gain because they'd been rendered useless.
That is when the world map began to die, and when low and mid level characters lost all sense of purpose.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

As much as game mechanics makes it easier to level up choosing the FC path, I still point the blame towards players for wanting only to run high level instances but do QQ about when people use FC to level up to be able to run along in those instances completely unskilled.0 -

Whoa whoa whoa...
The blame goes both ways here pal. The developers are to blame for MAKING quest rewards so crappy, so tedious, so pointless. The developers decided NOT to put a cap on FC.
It's not the PLAYER's fault for finding that flaw; that's our job as players to not only find them, but point them out. (And don't say nobody has pointed them out, I've been moaning and throwing tantrums over this **** since I started playing)--but it is the player's fault for exploiting the everliving faq out of it.
As someone who came into Harshlands during the RT expansion, and played it through since then, Harshlands has long, long been dead thanks to noobFC's. Even the Genesis expansion hasn't saved this game, thanks to the sheer stupidity of R9.
You know what killed this game? Let me give you a small list, in no particular order.
-Gambling
-More sales than fixes
-More sales than updates
-Unbalancing in gear and classes
-No level cap in FC
-The Goon Incident, and how it was handled
-Lack of low level content
-Expansions that are never really fully implemented....(still waiting on those Guild Base Wars....?)
IF the developers were to actually fix these things, this game would be saved. And it deserves to be saved. It's a good game with way too much potential to be ruined by sheer greed.PWI: Constantly **** you in the **** so much you can't sit to play anymore. No wonder people are so butthurt.0 -
Don't forget to consider this....
The original developers did not make FCC a leveling instance. The original developers made FCC a farming instance for the next level of TT-style gear. It had two modes, Solo and Squad. (sound familiar?) Squad mode was much harder than what we have now.
Can we get back on topic now though? You guys are derailing this into a discussion better suited for one of the other threads on this subject.Hows the activity on your Server been since the change?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Players nowadays only ask for high level things in WC, you rarely see anything for lower levels (until recently because of hypers aren't available in FC, which is why I would be in favor of putting a level restriction in it).
Which is why people will abuse FC to get to the point where they can actually try to get anything done.
I do agree that the blame is on both ends and the updates are sometimes horrid (like the way things are currently). Makes you wonder if they just get files from China, translate it and implement it without testing a thing.
PWI still is bound in some ways to what china wants and does not want them to do.SylenThunder - Sanctuary wrote: »Don't forget to consider this....

Doesn't leave out the fact that over half of the toons forming them are alts anyway so for server activity it doesn't matter at all if there's only alts playing around.0 -
World chat is filled with lunar, full warsong and aeu squads and a smattering of people looking hard and long for members for the same pv and low lvl bh squads. I think the alts have been put in the closet waiting for hypers to be allowed back in fc.
Looked around at the starter areas and its still dead as usual.
Game feels even more directed for well geared level 100's now.0 -

I swear, this is better than that time you told the Psychic forum that your plan to get a r6 weapon was better than anyone's plan to get a r9 weapon because with the money you saved you were able to +11 your r6 weapon.I AGOREY0 -
Other than seeing someone farming some oracles while I was doing the Demon Barb form quest, way deader. I zoomed by Frost and the place was a ghost town.
-Same amount of people selling WGTM.
-Same amount of people asking for BH under 100.
-Less WC about FF, which was replaced by a moderate amount of "When will FF be fixed?"pwcalc.com/bb6fc16982637a5c / pwcalc.com/28948ee5778526f50
