    That's not the case. Ask any old player who frequented the forums and bothered with it (I also fall into that category). Our rankings were only accurate for around the first year of the game. Especially when it comes to PvP rankings.

    After that it started getting extremely unreliable and inaccurate, even when the page itself wasn't down. You would often have things like the same person on it multiple times, people off of it that shouldn't be (and vice versa) and so on. You may personally not be someone who would be able to recognize it, but that doesn't change that it is what was going on.

    So, because of that, less and less people even care whether or not the page itself is up and running now. And that's why, much like Core displaying kill counts, we don't really have an answer for it and very few people care anymore.

    No, that's not true. Certain players who had verifiable numbers were excluded and still are to this day. They have been inaccurate for years.

    rankings were well acuarate....just 3months ago it was. and it also was when we could see the kills in core connect too.

    and i think many ppl care about rankings, not in the way u might think, most ppl like it couse they can c how many they killed during a tw/nw a day pking. make a poll and u will c that many ppl want rankings working.

    yes it was broken for some time, like it is at this moment, but all is broke time to time, even favebook connect, or dq system. but then u guys fixed.

    i dont look for everybody in all rankings sections, just people i know and to me. so i cant tell u if it was or not working as it should. for the few ppl i used to look in rankings i didnt c any of the problems u mention. for me it was, working or not working. so i cant say much about this.
    or i can tell u this, those person complaining about they wasnt in the rankings was couse they deserved to not be there, and they were just complaining couse they were listed. it is too obvius, if u are lvl 103 and u were #1 in the list and then 100 ppl hit lvl 105 couse of goonz, ofc u are gonna be banished from the list. thing is, gms promised us to remove those players from ranking lists, to those taht used that glitch to lvl...but still they are there and honorable ppl that didnt used the glitch were complaining. as it was unresolved it was easier to say that rankings list were inacuarete than fix the real problem. but thats another thing. the main point of all this is taht ranking is not working at this moment and it used to work, like it or not. u can ask any1 that used to check the ranking web site. they all will tell u that it used to work and now it doesnt. was it acuarate? last time it worked it was acuarate, was it reliable? last time it worked it was.

    so unless u wanna say that couse in a period of time it was unreliable and inacuarate and u dont bother to fix it now, u shoudlnt stat what u did.

    it was working and we want it working, perhaps one day it will be fixed, till that day we will wait.

    how do u verify those numbers?tell me. pls explain me how u as a person that barely log in game (at least i never c u around) and only like posting in forums. u can beleive this persons? and not beleive that tehy are lieing? there is 50% chances that what they are saying is true and 50% they are lieing. u like math, well there u have those numbers 50-50. or just explain me how do u verify it. enlight me pls!

    What Mista said about me.

    Rankings were broken before the Goon glitch even became a known thing, so using that has literally zero effect on what I'm saying. Also Decus plays his archer far more than his cleric nowadays, so saying you don't see his cleric ingame doesn't say much at all.

    As I've said, those of us who were here long enough and paid attention to it know full well the rankings have not worked properly for years. From what you're saying, you're quite clearly not one of those people who paid enough attention to actually realize or be affected by it.

    Because you can send a ticket to get a kill count. I've been doing it for years. While I no longer play my cleric, I am in-game on an archer. This archer has more kills than many on the ranking (according to the number the Customer Service people gave me, which I suppose can be wrong) and yet is not. They have always been oddly exclusive, and it really hasn't ever been different.

    Anyhow, on a different note, I had sent a ticket around 8 months ago asking if the rankings page would be worked on. I got a reply being told that the rankings page would be worked on in the near future and would be working properly again.

    well u choose deleting one of my post where i answered to decus, i know u dont know if i know decus, so i wont tell u i know him since his cleric was lvl 80ish i think. even more i think he did his first rebirth gamma wiht me. i am confused now...i dont know if it was decus or flowflow...
    yes i know he has an archer and such, i even talk wiht him when i c his archers, i dont c his archer for almost 1 year. what i asked to him is a a prove...something he can show me. not just especulations.
    he explained he sent a ticket.

    ur argument is that u are old enough to say rankings wasnt working....well that argument is invalid couse it doesnt prove anything. in the other hand i can clearly tell u taht 3 months ago it was working. everything i said was a fact, u said ur opinion. ofc u are free to say it.

    i dont know if u are gonna delete my post..perhaps u will. it was never my intention to offend u. i dont know for how long u been around. but i can tell u i have been around long enough to tell u what i told u.

    i have enough about this, u have ur opinion i tell u rankings were working.

    lets make a poll? but let me title it couse polls can be tricky.

    First of all, I did not delete anything. You double posted instead of using the edit buttons or multi-quote feature, so I merely merged your posts.

    As for the rest of your post, you're wrong in every regard. Unlike you, I have been here from the beginning. Literally ANYONE that was around in 09 can tell you when the rankings stopped working properly. They were not accurate three months ago like you seem to believe and that is a fact.

    The realization that you're also the ONLY person here who seems to think they were accurate for any amount of time recently should also tell you something about your position on this matter. Your opinion is wrong, full stop, and saying that you're right because you say so is even less valid than what I have said. At least I have provided an accurate time span for what I've said not to mention have the support of others who can confirm what I've said.

    I have two archers, this is a ticket from the one on which I PvP fairly regularly. So, as I said, yes there are means for verifying kill counts. As to how accurate they are, who knows? I assume it's accurate, and thus I rationalize my belief that the rankings are inaccurate and exclusive.

    i gotta agree with OP, Ive been here since this game started and the ranking page was nvr right, whoever lvled last was placed on top of the list with the ones that were higher being moved down to the bottom... and then being eventually removed from the list until they lvled again

    you younguns need to lay off the energy drinks, they are rotting your brain and youre flying through life to fast to remember anything :D

    i think u are not understanding me, i said that there were period of time were rankings wasnt working and there was periods were it was. at least it was counting the kills of the persons on it (i am picking my words here so u dont get confused). 3 months ago it was like this, there was a thread that it doesnt exist anymore or it was moved, i dont know, i cant find it, where it was annunced that ranking website was working again. u might remember it. perhaps u as a moderator can see if i am lieing here and if this is my opinion by just searching deleted/moved thread to privete sections where the rest of players cant read.

    that the problem, how u know it isnt STILL acuarate or working properly? if it is counting the kills and if it is showing the higher lvls, thast not working properly? then i would like to know what it is working properly?

    Edit: What we're saying is that, even when it updates counts and the like, it STILL isn't accurate or working properly. Yes, it selectively updated, but any thorough search would show that it wasn't actually an accurate ranking as it's supposed to be.


    We're not talking about the page being down or up because we've come to a point where we don't care. Simply because the fact is the ranking failed to work properly to begin with even while the page was up.

    P.S. There is a small trick to getting the ranking page to work :3

    1. Go to the Ranking Page
    2. Go up the the top of the site and click on "Language" then click "German"

    .....

    3. Then browse who are the top PvP seekers on Archosaur, then find my name ;D

    And it's also updating daily too, I've jumped in the last few days from 2004 kills to 204# and now to 2115. :3
