[Maintenance + Patch Discussion] 2-05-2013 [Delayed]

Hey everyone,

Servers will be down from 11pm to 1am PST for maintenance.

Tonight's maintenance question is:

How would you create a 5-way rock-paper-scissor-lizard-spock version of PWI's races, and how/why would each trump the other?

    First!

    And I could swear that somebody had this in their sig. *Searches 'meow'*
    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    That was always one of my favourite signatures I read and I never saw it again after running into it three times or something weird, thank you Krissy xD Clerics are mushrooms as an afterthought~ <3 Seekers could probabily be a type of rock though, too.
    Fishies getting all the options but paper (and mushroom) only emphasizes broken-ness xD.

    Thanks. I gave him the idea.

    Game is much more balanced now surprisingly (assuming equal gear). Now, strictly in 1v1, seeker, wiz, bm, cleric, sin, and barb (in no particular order) come out ahead of the others. Nevertheless, the other classes shine in other areas.

    It's a scissor weilding rock that fires paper cuts. (Sword wielding tank that has magic attacks)

    Totally off subject:

    There is another game on my computer I wont mention which I havent updated for about 2 weeks. Since this maintenance is on I though I'd update the other one - it took less than 5 minutes and the update was 1.1gb - sorry but this kind of thing makes my think PWI is lacking a bit somewheres......and that wasnt any special update either....

    Oh, and as to how long the patch takes to install, it took me 45 seconds to install it... It's just the maint. that takes 2 hrs.
