The problem is that crit has diminishing returns unlike the increasing return on APS / Channel. It's something flashy to show off but it won't be a fundamental change to game balance like purify spell or zerk crit metal skills.

the difference b/w a good archer and an amazing archer is much smaller then good wiz and amazing wiz, even if you are an amazing archer there is really little you can do to have a better output then a player of 'average' ability. class is limited.

loooool troll post but ill respond anyway. veno josd are good because their R9r2 pataka has purify on it and they have purge. Archers likewise needs GoF and purge on their R9R2 bows

u know my wife is r9 archer, not jods, she is a mix of dot and vit stones. she is +11 weapon, +10 armors/rings/neck. i am r9 +10bm jods and weapon +12.........yet i know i can kill her if i get a lucky hit but u know what? if she purges me i am dead, couse she will still ahve her buffs and i wont, she will only need to kite enough time to find the oportunity to stun me+freeze and then do some dmg to kill me.........

i guess u never listened about how to calculate the hp of ur target in a 1 vs 1, how to poke a person till his hp is around 51% and then go and kill him......u need more practice in 1 vs 1. archers are awsome.

I was being serious. R999 seems more OP for wizards and barbs and such, but before people had r999, with regular r9 people always said archers were the most op, balanced out some now.

You seem like the type of person that has always had great gear compared to others, and honestly, for most that results in overconfidence and lack of general strategy towards comparable foes. Try fighting undergeared and you'll get betterb:cute

You're easily doing 6k autos on your crits against a fully jaded archer, thats 2 hits to tick a charm, which I'd say is a pretty big improvement from before third cast.

Purify is only OP in group fights where lots of noobs are hitting you. It's not at all reliable (yes it helps but many times when you don't need it) in 1v1s against people with similar gear. The proc rate is like around 8%.

Archers are pretty squishy even with full 3rd cast josds, but still against most arcanes they can crit ~6k with auto attack after a purge, which is still quite a bit of damage especially since they are a ranged class that can still hit you a few more times even if purify procs and you start running.

Havent tried mystic yet, mystics are already op with speed of heals unfortunately.

Also archers are not designed to 1 shot, we are designed to deal out many shots quickly from a distance to take targets down. Barbs can arma for a 1 shot, wizards venos clerics psys can nuke, but those take time to cast, and during that you can stun them, or put up a shell to reduce 80% damage.
