Fist/Axe BM endgame gear?

Missing nirvana pants, and if you want higher dd, a -int tome. At some point upgrade your chest from tt90 to either lunar/tt vana g15 or g16.
Your build will run into aps issues with la ornaments b:sad.
Current build with LA arm/feet
Final build - LA ornaments
LA boots/wrists - final build
Pdef can be gained easily by refining your rings, belt, in your LA build, mdef will be very hard to come by. Basically 7k~8k is the max mdef you'll be able to squeeze out. That is why we recommended not to go with LA ornaments. Btw, look for a new hat as well, lots of hp gains to be had.0 -

I was considering that already but my TT90 legs and plate grant me 8 vit each and lunar/legen doesnt. I got tt99 gold legs but those are in bank and I can't equip cuz else they bind and I need someone to craft me the NV pants out of those.0 -

If your tt99 pants are 4 sockets, sell them, get the money and make the lunar pants. If they are 2~3 sockets, make them into vana pants, and sell those. If they come out 4 sockets, awesome, otherwise still decent money.
Reason why i suggest lunar, for me it is tradeable status. If ever in the future things change, you can sell part of the gear to get other things. If they are bound, you have to start from scratch.
8~16 vit might seem a lot, but they don't really matter in the grand scheme of things in pve.0 -
For endgame you should mainly use axe only, since APS is pretty useless versus any R9 player.Best BM in PW history.0

My TT99 pants came 3 sockets but I'd prefere my whole endgame gear to be bound so I can PK without any consequences :PFantasyz - Lost City wrote: »For endgame you should mainly use axe only, since APS is pretty useless versus any R9 player.
I pretty much NEVER use fist/claw for PVP. Ill most likely get Morai G15 for endgame.
Those have identical base dmg as TT99 axes, can get really nice addons and are realiable.0 -

If I'm following this right you don't want to upgrade your plate to tt99 or your pants to G15 because you'll lose 16 vit? TT99 plate comes with +90 hp, 9 vit, and damage reduction and has 154 more pdef and 70 mdef. Going from tt90 pants to G15 pants is a huge defense, as well as offer more str and more hp. Then on top of all that, it refines better. Trust me, you'll only gain survivability.
As for TT vs Lunar vana, I usually recommend Lunar. Not for binding or unbinding, but because it has better defense. Lionheart has 1345/578 def and then +4% of all gear while Cascade has 1793/770 defense. Lunar has 33% higher defenses than TT. I haven't done the math for BMs in a while but you needed +11 ornaments and rings for TT Vana to give as much defense as Lunar Nirvana. That may have changed now that G16 belts, R9, and rings like Sky Cover exist to get multiplied by TT's 4% boost, but it may also have gone the other way since G16 has +4-10% adds which would favor Lunar's higher base defenses. Depends on your endgame gear goals. Either way, under +10-11 refines Lunar is better.
One thing about those 4% bonus boosts is when you get buffed it doesn't get multiplied, but when you are debuffed that 4% doesn't go away either. In other words, Lunar armor works even better when buffed but TT armor works better when you get purged/debuffed with things like Devour. My analysis is for PvE Lunar is better since very few things purge/debuff. For PvP for BMs, Lunar is better since we have our own buff all the time and it even has a 75% boost for 15 seconds. For PvP for barbs, its a toss up. If you are a cata barb and getting debuffed like crazy TT will be better but until you are Lunar is better.
Then again, if you're going G16 and don't mind giving up the -int on the pants then it doesn't matter. Go TT since it'll bind and you want that.Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory0 -

Nuuh Ill ofc get something better for endgame than TT90 plate + legs.
I just meant I won't get something different for the meanwhile now.
I'll go interval pants for sure. Plate, helm most likely NV aswell.0 -

Im really trying to push that on more people right now. (Replace WG robe with Lunar Robe later on ofc). It allows you to take advantage of N3 fists easier, along with getting a 5% neck which makes up for a good chunk of HP.
But since you're at: http://pwcalc.com/49987de25da1bcb8
Get the 2nd stage nirvana pants next after that...
A +5 N2 helm will net you around 500 hp. But, you can get about the same HP with +5ing the rest of your armor (skipping plate ofc), which may be better and allows you to farm Nirvana better to just get cannies.
Bottom line, you're gonna assumedly keep your arms, legs, and boots forever, you should just +5 to +7 them (do the pants first, better returns). Then keep farming, and get the helm eventually. The hat would be a nice upgrade, but in terms of cost efficiency, +5 to +7ing armor would be more beneficial than the helm for you right now.
I'd also recommend some better rings with cheap engravings, and a reset note. If you can pair your dex down to 203 with gear adds, get rid of some (or all) of your vit (Your vit is about 555 hp, fyi), and get down to 3 mag - all of that can go into strength.
Even if you get a whole 8 stat points outta those ring engravings, that all adds up. Right now Im seeing, after you get pants, you can get about 58 strength more, which is a considerable chunk of damage.
But that is a lot of stuff to consider. Right now I'd suggest you make a "goal" build, that has all the stuff you want in about 3-6 months. Stuff like N2 Pants, N2 Helm, New Chest, rings, and possible new cape. Think about whats reasonable in your budget (Skycovers may not be, but Lunar rings might be, but Perfect Attendance ring should be), build it in PWCalc, and we can advise what stats to reset and what to shoot for first a lot easier. You have a lot of options for your rings, chest, and heck even your tome right now.pwcalc.com/bb6fc16982637a5c / pwcalc.com/28948ee5778526f50 -
Hi xShui here. Kinda offtopic...
anyway...**** this whole thread cuz my BM got banned due to a stupicity of PWE.
Since I already got lv 100 r8 sin and had a 100 bm I want something new so Im making Archer now DPS with fist/claws might not be as good as BM but I dont mind. In exchange I can reach 5 aps way easier, stealth and better crits. Nice ranged abilities, excellent for PVP/TW/Delta which I do a lot. New expansion will have new TW content so Archer might be good for me to have as new main now. xp0 -

No. I got sick of BM and want something new.
As I said I don't mind if fist/claw damage isn't as good as BM.
And if u are a Blademaster...use a damn blade.0 -

One of the things that made me go "oohhh... clawchers are mean!" was I was in the bored room in the cube. An Archer walks in, gets at max range but close enough to shoot me while I'm minding my own business. As soon as I saw him triple spark I ADd and sprinted to him as he tried triple spark bowing me. He anti stuns right as I channeled RotP, then we both switch to claws. I'm thinking 'so? I'm and HA bm and he wants to melee with me?' Except he was triple sparked and had evasion and accuracy. I didn't have a safe spot at range and I didn't have a safe spot in melee.
The biggest difference between clawcher and bm is they don't get bloodpaint. Otherwise their damage is only slightly less than ours. Add a few refines and they'll substitute for a bm for single target dps.Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play. Mystic, Psychic, and Wizard left to level. b:victory0 -
i am not saying that clawarcher cant do good dmg but dont archers get dmg boost from dex like sins do? becos to use claws you miss out on lot of dex you would have if you go only bow build....so you sacrifice your dmg whit your main weapon just to use claws?? sure it can be fun but isnt that same as sin going for HA or BM going for LA....just becos it is doable that dont make it good thing to do. well any way my opinion but everyone id free to do what is more fun to them b:laugh0

Faceroll just posted Two builds. One pure dex bow, the other claw. When she swaps to aps gear and a str ring she goes from 104 str pure dex bow archer to 155 str claw archer. Didn't have to stat extra strength, just had to manipulate aps gear to add +str when using claws.Seven 100+ characters leveled the hard way. Free to play.
