Yeah... I really like maths, but it's hard to enjoy with professors like that. And even though I'm close with several people who are really good at maths (like Decus !) I don't like pestering them about it OTL

I actually wasn't going to post because Kossy was busy with mod things on other threads and I didn't want to distract her, but it was loneily since 'sabii had just left me alone to go to classes and well yeah x3.

Speaking of breakfast, I just made scrambled eggs since readily available savoury food..... but, ew... it's probabily the least flavourful, least consistant, unwell blended batch of scrambled eggs I have ever made :x I had to put cheese /on/ it. I never do that since I put cheese in the blend OTL____

*nuzzles Gecko* Care to answer the question of where you would grope a deerfox x3? I thought of maybe horns but, still a little weird considering it's normally other body things... especially since the only other deerfox I know doesn't even /have/ horns :x

I've been getting that too where it seems like no matter what foods I eat I always still feel hungry, which is really foreign to me since I'm not often hungry. And then because my stomach is tiny and I'm very quick to get a little bulge there if I eat at all it gets all expanded after eating enough that I /don't/ feel hungry and reminds me of to-be mothers' bellies and it's always kind of bittersweetily awkward x3.........

When I used to live with my insane psychotic surprising-to-not-be-murderers of parents, I used to feel hungry nonstop, and I started gaining weight. Upon moving out last year, I lost nearly 20 pounds just because I didn't feel the need to eat. I put around 10 back on when I moved back in, but since as of 2 days before my birthday, around 4 weeks ago, I have disowned my family, I've already noticed the stress disappearing and less need to eat. A constant feeling of hunger is one of the most obvious signs of stress

I've always thought the stone face was kind of neutral....

Nnn no, not right now; when I am stressed out I lose my appetite, actually.
However, I am starting the time when I have to walk every day, so maybe it's just a response to need more calories since I tend to eat way less than I should on a normal basis...

When you are exceptionally stressed, because of a current event on your mind or something bad that just happened, you lose your appetite, but when you have constant underlying stress, you feel constantly hungry. This also ties in with a feeling of being bored, no matter if you are doing something entertaining.

Since I know nothing about you, I could be wrong, but many of us play online games like pwi to escape stress in real life. (Pwi especially, "Perfect world" sounds appealing to those who have a real life far from perfect) If that is the case for you, you probably still feel stress from whatever started you on the game, and should look to find ways to remove that stress. A way too remove underlying stress that I have found, is a change in environment. If your body associates a room with bad things in th past, use a different room, or rearrange furniture placement. Even when living with my parents again, I felt alot less stressed then I did before, after moving my bed to the other wall, and switching dresser and desk.

This is good advice for anyone really. Even my reptiles and fish appreciate a change in environment placement. Pets grow bored with constant unchanging environment, and stress among small animals is the leading cause of death in captivity. Humans may claim to not be animals, but in truth we are, and growing too adjusted to an environment is actually stressful.

That's an interesting topic.
I'm often very stressed due to my Social Anxiety and OCD (though both have improved over the years a little) and sometimes it's extremely hard, almost impossible to get rid of that stress or the intrusive thought patterns that lead to the point of me getting stressed.

Though, I'm also just stressed due to this being my final college year...I have to get good grades and then find a job. The job is probably going to be a really hard thing for me...my Anxiety makes me nervous when I'm around strangers though I'd guess isn't nothing less than the same feeling everytime I start a new school year with a new class, until I get to know the people but...the job is more serious and people tend to be manipulative (trying to make you do the work in their place), rather selfish and all that. I'll consider myself extremely lucky if I'm able to find a job in a good environment. I highly doubt I'll find a job in my field (art, comics, illustrations, storyboards etc.) from the start and I'll probably have to get a whatever job for the start x.x

*headshakes no* I'd have to disagree about playing the game to escape stress part for me personally: I play online games because all of my friends are in different states and countries nowadays, and so us playing the same game in a tightily knit group is the only (practical) way we can interact with each other and effect one another in a 'realm' like place... I really like being able to effect them in-games like giving them buffs or heals or debuffing other critters or just supporting 'em helping them get gears and quests and blahblah.
I can't really play games without a close group of people, though, because I get really bad anxiety at the prospect of playing games with people that I don't know or have any sort of tie to (no, just playing the same game doesn't count)... which is kind of funny, since in real life, people I don't know don't make my anxious at all and I'm almost always the one to speak first when talking to people. [Well, it's not 'funny' but it's the complete opposite of what people normally think of when they think of 'social anxiety'.] (But I also have a tendency of just knowing those people 'in-passing' and don't try and stay in contact either;as I've had things so far, friends over-technology have been more permanant since it doesn't matter where you are, and friends in-life are only there until you move and then you kind of lose touch. Probabily not the best mentality but I guess it becomes a habit after moving so much as a kid out of necessity or emergency or just being dragged places)
That said.... I can't say I can relate to the stress of 'not changing places', haha. I think since I started playing pwi I've moved... how many times..... *mentally lists: this house, apartment before, green house, grandparents and staying with a family friend to avoid CPS, apartment before that, house where Reeba was living with her old boyfriend that was an emergency move, not sure if I was still at my father's house when I started playing*...... so seven, eight times?
Geez....... it doens't feel like it adds up but I know those are all houses I've lived at since my freshman year on (five years since) , and that's the same year I would have started pwi OTL either that or the summer after it.

And.... eh maybe people feeling hungry over periods of prolonged stress is a learnt response because they once had the food available to learn that >:? People seem to learn 'food->comfort thing' from a very young age if they can be provided with it, at least

Desdi, the thing with people at jobs just taking advantage of their employees and treating them more like resources than people is something I constantily worry about, especially sine I have to try and find a part time one >: it's also why it makes me really happy when I see employees acting 'human' aka chatting with fellow employees and making little gesture that let you know how close or not they are to the person they're talking to, as apposed to forced smiles and awkward silence and stuff.

Derp, I can't into numbers tonight, but what difference does it make? Going beyond 10k to 100k or even another 10k would be an impossible goal and will never be reached before the game itself ends (naturally or otherwise) at its current rate.

It just seems...pointless.

We went to 10k because we had already hit 1k. It just goes on and on. :P More of a legacy really since this game has been going on for years and years, although sadly the old one got deleted permanently by some GM by accident.

How high did the first one go, I wasnt around? But I think we should have a pwi forum artist make special medals (drawings or something) or something to award every 1000 that will be grabbed after this, starting with the 10,000 to be grabbed next. Ill be keeping a closer eye on kossy's treachery next time!
