Would be so bash tho lol, he didnt like to rationalize or even debate, in fact his best GMs were ran off because they argued his point, and he lowered the communities standards so much, he surrounded himself with humble little teeny boppers, and brainless wanna be somethings.

Vendetta has huge potential. just Bash and his hot headed antics have always been the downside. Like I said, tick tick tick

Oh and use some reading comprehension, I made a valid pointy based on history, and habits of the past. No where do I say vendetta is a bad server. You like many of the nutsucking brainless drones that sit around all day listening to the gospel of Bash automatically jump on the defensive when someone even mentions how wrong he did/does on certain things....in fact threads get locked by you (if really even a GM) before the mass of community sees it and builds any theories on it. amarite?

and I'm not coming to official forum to QQ about private servers, I play official, I'm a regular on these forums, and I'm not currently active on any private servers.

I don't know why pointing out the faults of a private server's management automatically brands one as "butthurt", but it really looks more like the V fans are butthurt that anything negative could be said about their server. Come to think of it, they seem to have a tendency to projection.

Anyway Pservers have been brought to the spotlight many times in recent days, but as long as it's positive the V GMs don't seem to mind, and I've never, until now, seen one come on the forums telling someone not to advertise them here by talking about them. I've never seen any "sickened" PWV GMs when the threads are full of people gushing over their R9 on their pservers.

F that ****. I'm sick of going white name, and all there is are lowbies in pk mode. (Kudos to them, at least they have the balls to pk. At least they don't have huge *** egos and arent afraid to go white named because they're scared of dying or losing or having their charms ticked.)

Why the hell else do you think we all moved to vendetta, Archosaur is a dead server, full of carebears and r9 people that want to solo BH51.

Vendetta offers so much more PK its insane, yeah ok I get it other servers may be better, thats your opinion, I love vendetta, it's almost exactly like pwi, just everyone's gear is equal, classes are imbalanced but that's ok. I can deal with that.

Yeah I used to be one of the biggest carebears on this server, everyone knows that. But I'm done with that. I just want to get better learn more about my class.
Thanks to Pk mode I've gotten so far in this game. Learnt and accomplished things I never even dreamt of.

I know lots of people are going to hate me after this post and give me a bunch of snide comments, especially the non-pkers on this server.
But everyone is entitled to their own opinion, this is how I feel.

(I know you guys are talking about BaSH and his updates on vendetta and blahblahblah. But that is completely irrelevant to the topic of this thread. I mean it's his server, his choice he can take how ever long and take his time to do whatever he wants with it. I don't think people should be bashing on him I mean like, he could've closed the server a long time ago or just ignored us if he really wanted to.)

if you want to actually satisfy your PvP needs, you'll need to play a game that is recognized as an e-sport or for once play a part in trying to encourage genuine competition in TW. the reason why I do not care about PK anymore is because I am the last person left on this server that actually put myself on the line when it mattered, and so there is no empty feeling that complains about the lack of pk now, or that urges me to go find it elsewhere. I understand why everybody goes to vendetta now, but just recognize it wasn't exactly the games fault. people have started complaining about pwi being dead as far back as 2 years ago, and there will always be updates that are largely perceived as "bad" by the community, or "counter productive," but at the end of the day, the game is what you make of it.... there are countless examples of some of us rising above the bullshaaat just to bring fun for others. then again, it wouldn't surprise me if there aren't any players left that remember those times, which would explain why nobody else knows how to make archosaur fun again.

so, whats my point? my point is if you play any version of pw just for pk, you are wasting your time, and i guarantee there is a better g4m3 out there with far better quality pvp that could entertain you. so then why do I play pwi? TW, and friends. and while most of you are are too ashamed to admit it, it's always fun just chilling with friends and doing random stuff time to time. beyond that, its still worth logging on during the week to further a cause if you know that by the time the weekend rolls around, your effort was going to be rewarded with a dynamic TW scene. and that can happen, again, i just know none of you know how because I dealt with the same types of people back when narla was dominating the map for 5 uncontested months. "this game sucks" "this server blows it cant be saved" "whats the point lets just stay in narla and grief the rest of the server for not challenging us, because we couldnt possibly be the reason why the server sucks!" etc.

kinda funny since in new servers Arch/RT (I was in Arch for a few days and have an IRL friend who used to play over there) there were a bunch of ppl power leveling like crazy getting TT90 sets in a few days and Lunar weapons + TT99 with high refines in a couple of weeks to go out and PK like "zomg Im so pro" and "geez this pk iz really baddaaazzz" when 95% of the server is a 1 shot is must be really "fun and challenging" and it wasn't about the gear at all but pro and mad skills right?

don't get me wrong I do understand your point about private servers and everyone knows how rank gear kinda ****ed up the game...I've been playing this game since 2009 and let me tell you...this game is broken not dead...yet...money > skills in PWI and that was before Arch Server.


You find funny how CSers complain about how death Arch and PWI are...and I found funny how CSers complain about other CSers for not being there when they CSed they gear in matter of days to pwn the server I guess is just a matter of opinions.

First of all, it's a persons preference whether or not they want to play PWI.
Like seriously, I play pwi, becuase I like it, I like the gameplay, and it's pretty much my first PK enabled RPG. I know myself, it would take a lot for me to quit a game, I'm not like you, I can't just randomly move from game to game, because I like being familiar, I mean theres nothing wrong with that.

Next thing is, you talk about the old school players. Yeah I get it they were good at pk, and stuff like that back in the day. But they don't play anymore. It's kind of pointless to compare. You don't even go pk mode anymore, and you're not even out at west outskirts at all, so how would you know whether or not there is fresh talent out there.
I mean seriously I've been out there, for a year now, and Ive seen you like once or twice.
Back in the day, back in the day, back in the day, that's all I ever hear now. We live in the present. I'm sure people were good back in the day, but does that mean players can't be good right now in the present? There are some people that really deserve credit.

It's not always gear. When you 1v1 someone, you can tell whether they are good or not. If someone was really good at pk, you can tell straight away, by the combos they use to kill you, and the timing of their skills.
There are some people, here I know I will beat if I had the same gear as them, and there are some people I know I will never beat, even if my gear is on par with them. Some people know and play their class so well, it makes watching 1v1's really entertaining.
Example: TeddyTiger and Dai_Viper and their awesome crit combos, _CurseD with his 5 skill fire combo and anti-soul of fire combo. Super_Heals and his metal mage combo. CyborgFox and his precise timing for stunlocking.
I wouldn't say I am the best. But, my gear is only +7, and I've beat other +12 seekers, and +11 r9 sins.
So I'm saying just cause they have awesome gear, doesn't mean you can't beat them if you're skilled at your class.
Yeah Okay I get it, you're going to say r8 people don't stand a fighting chance against r9. That is true to some extent, but there are people, like Super_Heals who is only r8 and he can take down some r9 seekers, and I've seen him do it.
You won't believe it but Super told me a lv 82 BM stunlocked and rolled a r9 sin in pk the other day.
That's why I'm saying, there are some people out here who are actually good, not everyone is a cash shopping noob, and if you went pk more often, you'd be able to tell who's who.

No you probably don't because you never pked in the past year.
A year ago, all of us were killing each other, pk was so fun. A year ago, I used to get farmed in pk, by every one.
But then, it was always the same people, out at west.
Always the same faces, so it was only natural for us to end up befriending each other.
It's the lack of new faces in pk mode that is the problem.
Is it really entirely our fault for ruining pk, when many people on the server don't go white named because they have huge egos, and don't want to lose?

To be honest I don't give two craps if PWI is dead. As dead as it was, I've stuck to it for quite some time.
PK has been dead for a long long time now, but it's okay, I can deal with it. It's fine. Half of what drove me to writing that long essay was the economy. 20K for tokens? And 7mil for charms? Come on even you have to agree with me on this one, that's way too much.
But yeah the new patch with the new packs, fixed that, so now I have nothing to QQ about.
As I said before this game, does not suck, I never said it sucked. But yes, archosaur server sucks in terms of PK. Move servers? Just Quit? No thanks, I worked way too hard on my characters, and made way too many friends on this server, I'm not prepared to leave those things behind.

PS: I'm pretty sure Metridium, Geogaddi, Soochi, Cursed, DizasterX, and HeavenBlaze were old school players. All of which played vendetta. By old school players who are you referring to? Just your own group of friends? lol.

I know I csed for my rank 9 gear, but my JOSD were merchanted.
Let me just say, I'm pretty sure I'm not all gear, no skill. I'm always up for taking my rank 9 gear off and using lesser armors to 1v1 people. You can ask the regular pkers, I always do that. :P

I'm can so understand peoples frustration here. Customer service has plummeted of late, and they have gotten to the point where they are offering 15% zen bonus for weeks of not being able to play this game. I'm thinking they did me a favor, i spent monies i would have spent on pwi on a Gui ld Wa rs2 pre-order. Woot beta weekend.

I wasn't comparing their skill per se, even though I think they were better. the bigger point is that their willingness to promote genuinely competitive pk by the way they played and acted far out does the efforts (or lack thereof) of the players who only showed up to west since getting r9.

didn't you just admit you were a carebear and played things out wrong? if you only saw me out once or twice from a year ago, its because your time table is wrong. you weren't out there when the pvp was good that long ago, I am 100% certain. in the past half a year (thats 6 months ago), admittedly, i haven't really been out there because again...nothing exists. if I do go out there i'll happily run around with 2 nemesis sins and a boad archer following me around all day until dai_viper tries to gank me, but that's besides the point because i never said pk wasnt dead, it is dead, that's precisely what i'm saying, alongside of course some other points. back in the day back in the day back in the day? this is the first post I've made in regards to this in an incredibly long time haha.

mm, this is where you take it too personally and mistake my argument for saying you guys are all bad. cursed is a good player, but he did absolutely nothing even with full r9 +5 refines. he got destroyed so many times. granted, he was still trying to learn wizard, but the point is he only really started to shine once he finished all his jades. so yes, once he really learned, he became good, but its not just a coincidence that it was also when his gear became amazing by comparison. so my point is he never had to play undergeared, and he never had to learn to adapt or do much besides work with the advantage he has, which undoubtedly gives off the impression hes a good player. so while he is good, he never fought during the times where he could have really been tested. almost none of you have, and you seem to resent that fact rather than just admit it. well, that's just too bad, it's still true.

again, i know hes learned and has gotten to be good, but when you are talking about full r9 full jades and a bot that auto equipts magic charms and auto pots for you, and the best genie in the server, what do you have to judge if you are being objective? sure, he can fight someone like dai_viper, but dai is total trash anyway. the PvP on this game used to be much better and challenging than it is now. r9 gear does NOT scale the same way, there are so many little imbalances now that did not exist before, so, when the only people who pvp did it in r9, and you never got the chance to see them have to learn to fight TT99 vs tt99, or r8 vs r8, well, it goes without saying what that means if you understand the difference.

that is true to some degree, and I never denied that. but my point is you have such a small pool of players to reasonably compare them with due to the gear they have, that judging 'skill' in this case is not necessarily more 'difficult' based on your limited perception, you just don't get the chance to know any better, and to be able to differentiate between the types of skill across a far wider class of players with comparable gear.

and when vendetta stays down, and the phase ends and you guys eventually come back to archosaur as much as you might say you wont, how bout trying to help make TW better instead of giving off this vibe that you were victims of a bad server and there was nothing you could do to save it. and so now, in a great act of defiance, you're guna pick up and leave every time vendetta comes back up and talk down on pwi as often as you can.

You find funny how CSers complain about how death Arch and PWI are...and I found funny how CSers complain about other CSers for not being there when they CSed they gear in matter of days to pwn the server I guess is just a matter of opinions.

haha well, thats certainly true to the people who powerleveled only to pk level 40s as 70s, or level 80s as 95s or 99s, but archosaur saw much better than that.

Anglers village to Hidden Orchid (50s-70s)
Hidden Orchid to Orchid Temple (70s for a while)
FC era (pk died down a considerable amount here)
West gate (90s-100s) good pk on archosaur for quite a while
Summer of that one event that ran twice a day, pk started to die again, about around the time where narla was beginning to really pull away in terms of strength, it had been probably 2-3 months since their last competitive tw with impulse
September-> Elusive vs Narla west gate, constantly trading whoever occupied the land out there, lasted a good while and fights continued after narla died between various factions for a bit

Fast forward, r8 sale (while it was already here) really started to hit hard and tons of players were getting it. still some good pk but it started to change.

Fast forward to r9, most the pk was just random skirmishes at this point, no large scale fights anymore besides one or two fights between zulusive and nemesis

Most old players quit by this time, or were beginning to phase out, then from this point on you had a lot of NEW rich players who came either from other servers (titty tiger), or were cash shoppers all along but finally found the courage to come out of their cat shop to turn white (dai viper). PK was still somewhat decent, but it would only get worse once there became more sins because people rerolled from their archers for an easier time pking, then the refines started to become ridiculous, blahblah blah etc. etc. this is where most of the "good" players of today started to appear during, and thats been going on for 6-7, maybe 8 months now.

of course it doesn't hold a candle to the pk that happened on even earlier servers, but its a relative term. old school by way of comparison to what things are like now on versus what they used to be on its own server. not comparing it to LC or even hL
