Did I said I was a CSer? Don't make your own assumption just because I have the means to make the coins in game. If I am a CSer, I would have been level 100 by now. I learn to play my class before hypering in FCs. Oh, there lots of ways to make coins but you are too lazy to do anything. If you grind mobs for an hour, you could make a few hundreds K of coins. Mid mats are so under-farmed and the price has risen. Have you ever thought to go and farm it? I do. I can make a lot selling those. Farming is boring but if you are not someone who use a credit card to pay anything in game, do everything you can to make coins. This post was not about who CS and who is not. It's about you whining about that this game is dead cause you can't find anyone to party to do instance. b:chuckle0 -

NS = NightScream (Sorry I still call it that from back when people still zhened.) It is the island that you port in from the ship at DreamWeaverPort(DWP).
You may struggle soloing FB 79 as a HA since you need to have good magic attack to heal enough to keep your pet alive against the bosses. (Though you could bring another Veno to go with you and heal your pet.) Glacial is the best Pdef pet you can have so I would use that.[SIGPIC]http://i48.tinypic.com/2r61kw3.jpg[/SIGPIC]

Oh yes, I used to duo with a bm as cleric to aoe mobs, good old times! Yes, that's the main point, can't still afford resets to get more Magic, so It gets hard sometimes to heal my pet without any Chan gearb:cry0 -

Toned down the size of that message you were trying to quote.
Zhen is not the same as Zen.
Zen is the Gold currency used by PWE.
Zhen means "Treasure" and was derived into a form of AoE grouping for this game.
Back in the day people used "zhen squads" to farm mobs in a bulk manner to gain exp and money(treasure).
Usually in the manner of
1-2 Clerics
2-3 Constant AoE DD (wiz/archer)
2 pullers/looters (Bm/Barb)

I'm not against farming dude, I just find it BORING. Why would I spend 2 hours farming, that's not playing the game. I only do it if I'm busy doing something else and I can spare some minutes moving my char while AFK flying.
I want to squad for TT and stuffs, because that's what I consider fun. I'm making money every merchanting, I don't make millions, but enough to buy FC or other stuffs. Problem is people dont' do TT runs anymore like before. I remember when first starting on this server doing a TT 60 was HUGE and getting those freaking Ancient Arbor as well. Now everyone is +100 and forming something DECENT is hard. As a healer I see barbs tanking in human form, going in for 5 mobs and NOT aggroing everyone... people is not learning, thus leading to crapy high lvl chars.
And those low lvl chars are mainly alts with Main 100, so they just do the content themselves.
Making coins is EASY, but 1.4 for 1 gold? That's utter BS.0 -

Everybody complains about not being able to get squads, yet when they go to accomplish getting a squad for something....there's nobody there TO squad with, because everybody is using FC. Either that, or when you form a squad, 70% of the time, you have more Assassins or Fistmasters in squad than magical DD's, barbarians, or clerics.
Solution: CAP. FC. AT. 75.
Your STORYLINE (you know, that thing that your writers came up with so there was a point to killing all these mobs and ****?) pops up at level 75. You have no business being up there before 75. Hell, you don't even have business being up there when you ARE 75--because the mobs are 20 levels higher than you in that area! The mobs inside FC itself are, at the very least, level 85, so even AT 75, you shouldn't be poking your nose in there, unless it's in a 75-85 squad!
If they capped FC, this wouldn't be an issue. But they don't. This is what they want. They want you to get to 100, get bored, spend money to get easy-to-obtain-yet-stupidly-powerful gear, get bored again, and make another character to (also) spend money on. It's not a matter of keeping this game afloat--it's a matter of how much money PWE can milk out of this branch before it falls on its face.
Shortly afterwards, when all the other branches catch up to this point of sheer stupidity, MAYBE, just maybe, PWE will realize that their flagship franchise is going down the toilet.

Though the "learning your class" isn't an intelligent reason. It would for people to level their class like it used to be which would allow newer players more fun to enjoy since not all of them can affoard these amazing powerlevels without swiping the creditcard get bored and leave. Sure people say this game is "dead" it's not there yet but i agree it is heading there due to bad management, however the playerbase is making it worse by continuing this pattern.
Real solution. Make Hyper stones have a level requirement of at least 80. That gets rid of the "O lets EXP farm elsewhere" Getting to 80 these days without FC is easy as hell already and forces people to BH and Crazystone etc to level. Which then will make them require gear for their level which will in-turn have people farming TTs and other things which will help keep the playerbase from being completely bored and also "teach them how to play their class" in a challenging instance. But that will never happen. Actually not sure if it's even better $$$ income for PWE.
Problem is that new players aren't attracted due to this. You get no one to squad at your lvl (all are alts) and unless you charge like 200 gold, you won't level that fast. Normal gameplay, around 3-4 hours a day, you will make it to 80 in 1 month, that's how I levelled my sin up to 760 -
It's true, the game is not what it was and generally people are obsessed with racing to 100, so they can make more coin to get better gear (I guess).
Frankly, I prefer questing with people. So if I meet anyone with low level alts or starting out, I try to organise to do quests with them. Helps me learn new classes better.
I use the new lucid experience fruit to make genies, rather than boost my levels quickly and this allows me to get more skills to play around with at a lower level.
Though finding people to run quests with can be difficult, I am hopeful. I have thought of wcing to see if I can get anyone 40-60 odd range to do quests together, since there are so many.
I really don't want to leave the game out of boredom. Just as an aside, it would be really nice if there were more quests for 95+ in Morai (please). Once you have done the quest sequence in there, it is just Wraith Missive, Divines, Tuc (I 4get) Toxin and the occasional other kill some mobs.

Before you start accusing me of something, read REALLLLLYYYYY closely. Farming herbs and mats is a part of this game, a way for the players to make coins. It is BORING, I agree but you don't need to farm for 2 hours. Farming TT takes much time too, unless you have some APS DDs in squad. You are a veno, you should be able to solo some lower TTs. Ask some of your friends to tag along if you don't wanna solo it. Start your own squad. You only need 4 persons in squad to open TT anyway. I farmed my mats for my TT80 gears with couple of friends or random squad I see sometimes on WC. But I much prefer to go in with friends as they won't steal mats like some random squads. Another reason why there are far less squads on WC. The guild I am in now helps with TT runs so I'm pretty lucky I guess.0 -
Yeah the game is dead, i haven't played PW's official server in about 2 years now, because i realised it was dying, i came back today to chack it out and i fell about laughing, it's like a graveyard it really is.
Anyone who has just signed up and is reading this, it's not worth it, you pay, you level, you finish, end of.

It might be but it still didn't stop you from re-downloading the game, re-installing the game, and re-making a new toon. Why did you take the trouble to do those if you are finished with this game?
