    By my understanding they just count the drops twice or hit some global button to double all drop counts, least I think it would be the easiest way to go with this. Making an example. You go and buy lottery ticket which is like normal drops. Now 2x drops are like getting 2 tickets for the price of one. Nothing fundamental has changed on probabilities - You just get another roll for drops.

    WELL no need to rage if they finaly fix the 2k-10k ms lag spikes in game
    no need for that when doing Nirvana i dunt want to Die 2 often on runner boss or queen

    Other posts in answering your question were a bit misleading as well, as I understand it. when 2x is applied to drops, it does NOT double your chance for getting drops, rather it doubles the drops you do get.

    It wasnt specific, so assuming its 2x EXP/DROP since its General to say 2x.
