...a wizard with the same gear would do better IMO.

Right, that's the crux of the matter. Gear is like a constant variable in the calculation. Give a wizard and cleric equal gear and the wizard is still the superior DD by leaps and bounds.
Proving that not only archers do math since 2009. b:victory

I'd say a wizards sustainable defenses are better by leaps and bounds but not that they have that much better dd.

I'm not certain how the damage from Tempest compares against the damage from the various powerful Wiz AoEs, but I think the cooldowns alone could be a problematic factor when DDing Delta.

Clerics have what? Razor Feathers, Tempest, and Siren's Kiss?

Wiz have DB, Blade Tempest, BIDS, Mountain Seize, and Hailstorm

This is the part where I defer to Decus for math related purposes, mostly because it is like 3 am and I'm fairly exhausted..b:sleep

you guys wont get anywhere with thumbs b:surrender hes the guy that declared VIT cleric utterly and universally useless cause that was what he experienced.

True, you can't teach a dd cleric how to heal.

One of them is R9 full DoT "offensive build" as he likes to call himself .

He calls himself metal mage, from what I know, his gear had had jades and garnets mixed. The other was a girl from the same faction with godly gear.

There is only a few cleric playing full delta metal mage . Doesnt really matter when it's all about PVE-ing . It becomes way more funny when you see them in TW . Oh well, guess some picked the wrong class to begin with .

And now i know who you're refering to xD we were not talking about the same one :) As for the female cleric with godly gear, i dunno who it is . Plenty of R9 cleric nowadays .
