    books \o/
I like to use my fantasy, and movies usually ruin it, by showing almost always the same actors in movies.
yay. same face, different coat D: boring.

I like a balance of both. I love the world of imagination, and both provide a different type of that. While a book allows you to imagine the world in front of you yourself, a movie guides you through it. Personally, I prefer books over movies, preferably fantasy books as well.

Books, because its more fun to get lost in the story by creating the world with my own imagination.

I prefer books. A lot more detail can be included in books and can be lost in movies. You can get carried away in a book and be lost in another world for hours on end. Movies only last 2-3 hours at most.

Depends on the subject matter, like i'd much rather watch biographical pics and documentaries than read a book about the person. But if it's something fantasy like, i'd prefer the book.

    Books.

Some things just dont translate to a screen well, but thrive in your imagination.
I've quit excluding TW for my faction. But I still hang around to help out those who still enjoy the game under PWEs horrific handling and to have fun in the forums. b:cute
#Shame about PWEs absolutely craptastic handling of the goons glitching. Remember kids, there's no punishment for breaking the rules here!#
If you make a valid complaint, your thread will disapear. Don't post it here, post it on other sites where PW can't hide it.

Books FTW, movies are nice, but most are based (alot of times loosely) on books. Nothing worse than having read a good book and then watching a crapy holywood interpretation of it.

Have to say, I like the new idea of doing the maintenance announcement in a global post.

And books all the way. Eragon is a perfect example of the travesty that Hollywood can make out of a great book.b:surrender

Movies are like books- they tell a story- except you dont have to be in a well lit room, you can eat fatty finger foods at the same time with no fear of ruining the pages, and you will never again run across the notorious "no pictures (D:<)" issue.

So yes, movies. Also books of movies are ok, but not movies of books...with a few exceptions.
