    so its the 22nd of december, we were supposed to get an event to save santa. so far i only know this from a pwi e-mail. i have not seen any thing about it anywhere else.
    also, i noticed that this thread has been viewed 90 times, but i am the first to reply.

    As usual they couldn't make that happen correctly either so the event has been shortened, now starts the 23rd.

    Half expecting that to be cancelled as well.

    As for any other details, all I can say is don't get your hopes up, & you might be disappointed at best.

    b:worried the fashion is the event???

    The email from PWI says:

    "St. Nick has been kidnapped! Hurry to his rescue!"

    So I am expecting some quest and mob bashing event.
    But it is well into the 23rd December by my clock and no event.

    Did St. Nick start killing all the little boys and girls in a copycat of the snowmen fiasco?
    Or maybe....just maybe..."St. Nick is comming SOON lol.

    Was just wondering where the snowmen were at. It's the 23rd, and haven't seen or heard anything in the game about anything.

    The snowmen were initiated a few weeks ago on the European server and there was a small little problem...they killed everyone via an aoe skill. PWI said that they would try to fix it in time but didn't hold out much hope since they really didn't know what had changed to cause the problem. I'm not sure, but don't the snowmen around Tellus hit back? Anyway, maybe, if we are very lucky, they will put them in the game in January or something like that. I personally was relying on them being there to help level my pets with drops as a bonus plus it is part of my gaming Christmas experience and I miss them. ATM my pets need half a million points each to get up one level to 102 b:cry so snowmen would have been very welcome indeed. Now if we can just get at least one Christmas thing working...Save Santab:beg

    Ya I keep hearing about the snowman issue, and it sucks I wanted to level my pets on my veno as well. I am just curious why nothing else is mentioned about the 'Save Santa' nonsense. I read the email, and it's just so vague. Wondering if it's going to be random pop up event. Where you basically have to watch for a message ingame. Meh, who knows.b:shutup

    Event just took place on EU Server. Basically like mondays Tiger Event. A NPC appeared on West Archo crossing. It registered players for the event. First stage was killing mobs with 2011 points to reach serverwide for killing around Archo. Then 3 bosses, north, west and south Archo. Then 1 huge boss west Archo. Reward was pretty lame for me tho and I did not hear any really good rewards from others on server either. But still at least an event for christmas.

    If killing the bosses in Arch and lame fashion is all we are getting for a holiday event... COMPLETE FAILURE.

    oki i think we need new GMs the old ones are too lazy.
    And if they really cant just cant do the things they say cant they just say it forums, no they just promise and nothing happens... oh no more sales.

    Hm? On my 2 private servers I got at least $25 worth of gold free on each. Got events on both servers spanning the whole/majority of December giving nice usable, and expensive rewards. Also got new things to buy in the cash shop that PWI haven't even gotten from CN yet, and specialised gear just for Xmas made by their Devs.

    In PWI you can't even buy the snowball launcher :/ ....

    Well, they had been kinda-sorta following the markets until September of this year. The averages are trending upward, PWRD is trending down. I hope investors start reading the PWI forum, since it seems that PWE employees don't. b:surrender

    Can we get an update on when we are getting the Christmas event?

    23rd December is nearly over for me and no sign of an event but even worse no sign of anyone giving us an update on when it is comming or why it is late.

    Its amazing the lack of interest this company shows in it's customers.

    The event is scheduled for 8 PM server time, so it should be coming up in about an hour for the east coast servers.

    >.> um, just a question Monkey, but why 8pm? What about TW? If we're getting this everyday from Fri, Sat and Sun, the three days we also have TW at 8pm server... that's kind of mean... I mean being in a TW faction it means I have to skip at least one of those days if not two or even all three on some servers... you guys should have made it a no TW weekend so people could enjoy the xmas event and not have to worry about somehow getting memebers to get on on xmas and xmas eve to do stupid TW. Its not like we can keep people from bidding on land unless you disable it for the weekend. So I'm not very impressed with that, 5/6pm server would have been a much better time so that everyone could enjoy it.

    I'm a new player and I was on all day and nothing was said on the Forums or ingame about what time it might happen, so I logged out and went to dinner. Then I read about the event and they gave a 1hr notice about when it will start {8pm}. So I missed it cause I have a little life in me and I cant keep online 24/7 although I used to get mad when I miss an event an {XMAS} event at that but from what I read the event was way way to short and it sucked!

    What a completely disappointed XMAS event PW gave to its players. Infact in all my years of online gaming since {1997} UO this is by far the worst oneI have ever not seen. I chose this game to play starting in Dec bc I thought with the # of player base this game has {STILL} they must take care of there loyal players. How wrong can I be.


    One of 2 things is wrong with this picture 1. The players here must have let the game company just abuse the hell outa them for along time. or 2. Same as 1.

    You keep giving them $ then just ***** about how much they dont care. Look at in this way.... they are the DRUG dealers you keep buying there step on drugs and you know they suck but....YOU keep on going back to them over & over again. Do you think they would EVER give you a better deal? To the Hell PUCK nol

    So, here it is, 8:00 PM on Sanctuary and I'm not surprised to say, we have no idea where the fvcking event is.

    No system message, nothing giving any information as to if this event has started, or if it's even going on.
