I remember when Decus wrote Cauchy-Goursat theorem in his sig, and that was long time ago. Nowadays, I can recognize which sig you have, Dec. It some combination of Leibnitz derivative rule for integrals and Stokes' theorem. Or maybe the contiunity equation... Anyhow...

Eh old days of DW, i say go back to the old days of PW-MY where there was none of this BH, and hyper ****, i bet that is how DW Used to be but just saying you guys all have it easy on here compared to what people had to do on pw-my to level xD.. I remember when people had skill, when people used to know how to use thier character. when worldbosses took over 4-5+ teams to kill.. when People thought of APS to be stupid and always went for the Axes. PvP Before Sins and Psy,(even though i am a sin on this account) just miss the good ol days when skill mattered and it wasnt r9 faceroll or cashshopping for everything and acting pro.. So sad.0

no matter what it cant have been dragon wilds.
Dragon widlerness was the first land we took in Calamity (14 march 09) and first successfull tw(pve) if its after a reset or the disband i dont recall who had all the land ieces after lol. but if wolfgang was there. it gotta have been before those i guess.105 - 105 - 105 (14th march 2014)

Ohhh... good old times... and so many familliar faces on this Thread...
I remember when gold was 90k and I thought that was a loooot of money.
Does anyone remember when Genies came out? Holy path used to be an AOE-skill... Oh the glorious times in TT, running people into walls or into clappy hands. I had so much fun back then, altough even killing qingzi for the first time was quite the challenge. Truth be told, everything was a challenge back then. Even staying awake for another tiresome hour of either grinding or zhen.
We used to do fb 59 in a squad unwined just for the rep-drops the mobs would hand over. And the exp it gave.
I remember a barb falling off the mountain at Crimson - weee, squadwipe!
Or trying to do Forum stuff for Cala with Sera - only that Sera was involved in one of the first Belial attempts, using Lightning Chaser to interrupt his casting... ...and dieing quite noisily if our vent chat was any indication. Guess what? We didn't manage to get anything done for the forum but Belial died and I learned a lot thanks to Sera... ...mostly about things not to do when facing a boss like Belial.
What I actually remember most about the good old days are the people, the laughter and being very, very stupid. Often enough deliberately so. We had so much fun back then, spend so many nights leveling together, grinding together, figuring things out for ourselves and others.
'Let's see if we can pull a worldboss without killing the pulling pet!' was probably one of the most insane things I've done. And deadliest. But we worked it out and managed to get the timing right. For no other reason that we could and had nothing else to do besides grinding.
But real life took it's toll and the friends of the old days are long gone. Things changed, I'm not even playing myself anymore. I guess being in a different timezone made it too difficult to find new ones that were at all like those that left.
Sometimes I miss being stupid together with the people of my level range and pwi being too challenging to have people going solo everywhere.0 -

Me, Peenice, and Matthew were all the first fist bms on the server. Zeroblade is right, I was the first person on the server to get the .1 int DQ bracers. Me and the archer Nicoal spent like a full month doing DQ quests to get those lol.
Although I was a pole bm for a few levels, I had a bloodstained battle scythe with berserk crafted by Kiss_This, went around one shotting wizards with farstrike zerk crits and getting into epic pk battles with that one BloodPact Archer BenDover. I actually made it to #25 on the pk list with that zerk pole, but couldn't afford hp charms and quickly fell off the face of the earth at that point XD.
I also remember repeatedly destroying MrLucky in duels, he would rage so hard "FIST BMS SUCK WHY DO YOU KEEP BEATING ME I'M AN AXE BM!!!"
And no one should forget Pucker, the best sword bm of all time.
LOL talk about oldschool, I somehow stumbled upon this Old Elysium Thread. (The Elysium after Olee left, and Coracon was leader.) http://pwielysium.hyperboards.com/action/view_topic/topic_id/23 Funny thread QQing about BloodPact and mentioning my #38 pk spot w00t w00t.

Wolfy was the barb who fell off and squad wiped us at Crimson! LOL I think mostly that many of us moved on for awhile to other games and real life. But like me many are coming back and playing on various servers. I have at least 1 PM a week where someone will go OMG Stazzy is that YOU! Then I hump them, they hump me and all seems right with the world again for a little while. Everyone needs a good innocent girly hump every now & then.

Destini was born in March 2009; I think I started her the first or second day of Dreamweaver's opening. Etherblade was lively with folks trying to do that stupid jump quest (I ended up not doing it until I got my flying sword). The TW map was blank. The highest level to do fb's was like 19-20.....
I remember meeting Escorian in all his mouthy glory. They do say that opposites attract. Now we're engaged with a 5-month-old daughter. Funny how things work out.

What is sad and I think a reflection of the game's health is in the early days of boss day the amount of "traffic" at bosses was crazy. Nowadays, as people have pointed out in other threads, the desolate starter towns and fc alt runs have meant many players just don't do any but a few culti bosses they have to. It makes for much more sitting around and waiting for people needing the bosses killed when we have our boss hunts but it won't stop us from doing them.

There can be more than one "First" Fist BM. I created Drunken_Chu before Dreamweaver even opened so I could use the presaved template, stayed up late and started the minute Dreamweaver opened. I was there when the very first Herc was bought, it was like 45 minutes into the server, which was pretty funny. But anyway Escorian, Peenice, Matthew, and whoever the heck that firefeng guy is could have all done the same, making multiple first fist bms.0
